Checked in September 11th I called right before coming to ask about parking I was told it was $25 a night when I arrived to check in there was no one at the front desk had to walk around looking for someone she was in the back on her phone when I checked in she told me there was no parking available mind you we just drove 4hrs to get here plus I called before getting here. Had to park in a parking lot to where I had to cross main roads and to top it off it was pouring rain. The room had a nice view. The front desk not once greeted us as we came and left our 1st night was terrible had people fighting in the hall way I called down no answer next day I was able to get parking when I was leaving to get my car no valet around there was another person there waiting as well after waiting come to find out their valet guy was in some car smoking weed! Before checkout I tried to express myself to the front desk absolutely rude not one single person in front desk was nice did not acknowledge us in any way nor made us feel comfortable in any way! I asked for a manger she told me there was none or was just her and the valet guy til the next day. Called the next day spoke to the manager even worse customer service she completely was cutting me off did not care to seem what I had to say she was so rude it was no wonder the whole staff is the way they are no proper leader !!!! I highly do NOT recommend this hotel the worst customer service!!!!! We were there for the weekend to celebrate our 7 year anniversary but was ruined by all of this!!!! Do not stay here!!!!

HORRIBLE HOTEL. Period. Rude at the front desk. Asked for help and they were extremely bothered by it. Toilet don’t work. Elevator don’t work half the time. Everything closed but they don’t tell you. They also don’t inform you about the deposit until you arrive. ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING. Also no water between 12-3pm. The building seemed to move and made me nauseous. Not to mention THE WHISTLING SOUND THAT DONT STOP.

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn because the Hyatt was booked (and expensive), Besides the stellar location, there isn't anything 'stellar' about the hotel. That said, it was mostly clean, everything worked decently and the front desk staff were no nonsense but not rude. I'd say they're turning the place around based on the past reviews. We might try again....

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! It was a nightmare! I booked a room online, several weeks in advance of going on a cruise. The payment went through, 2 day prior to departure. I flew in the day before and chose the hotel based on proximity to the port. We arrived to the "hotel" around 9pm due to a flight delay. The clerk name Rosa, claimed she did not have my reservation. I handed her my confirmation and she was able to locate it. She said I needed to insert my credit card to verify that I was the person that booked online. I reminded her that I prepaid and showed her my receipt. I asked her if she was going to charge me and she assured me it was only for verification! I immediately got a text saying my card had been charged. When I questioned Rosa, she said that they had never received a payment from the online so I had to pay. Rosa claimed that my payment did not process so she could not give me a room! She said I must have removed my card too soon! I showed her my text but she claimed it did not process. She said I would need to pay CASH if I wanted a room. I reminded her that I was charged twice and she wanted me to pay again! I pulled up my statement online to show her that I was charged 2 times! She walked away and went into the office. A few minutes later she came out and said that she talked to the owner and he said not to give me a room. I told her she was trying to steal my money and that I would call the police. She said "go ahead and call". Two officers showed up 20 min later. I explained everything and showed them my text and statement. As they were talking to Rosa, 2 more police arrived so I filled them in. They began talking to Rosa in Spanish. After they spoke to her, they told me I had to pay cash or go somewhere else. It was now almost 11pm! I called the online booking company to see if anything else was available. All the hotels were booked or double the price! The person I was traveling with is diabetic and we had not eaten since lunch. I had no choice but to pay cash! Rosa said theyvwould refund my card if the room was in good condition when I checked out.SERIOIUSLY! By the time we got in the room it was 11:30pm. We had to order food delivery which was a 45 min. While waiting I called and put a stop to both payments! The next morning we went down for breakfast and could not eat since the place is a disgusting dump! If you are in Miami, avoid Rodeway Inn at all cost!! It is nasty and Rosa is a rude b!#*#!
