The best relation between price and service. Hotel is a bit old but when staying, it actually feels like a luxyry stay in a wide room and a great pool and terrace with view. The only negative : hot tubs in balconies, they never work. They should just take them out of there. Great location.

First I'd like to say the valet staff was great. There was no one to assist with my luggage which is not their fault. I had an issue with there being 2 rooms booked under my name, an error on the booking site, but this was corrected during checkin after I showed proof of the dual charges on my phone. Upon check in I was informed the only thing open was rooftop pool and there would be no housekeeping until I departed, but I could get clean towels upon request. Honestly this was surprising and extremely disappointing seeing that I've stayed at several other hotels during the pandemic and these services were offered, but hours had changed. Minor inconveniences are not my issue, having no room service, breakfast, spa availability, or housekeeping and having to go downstairs to get ice were all deeply frustrating. I recommend travel locations often due to my business and I can't recommend this property for the following reasons: 1) checkout staff was rude and I had to wait 15 min, she was in back office the whole time and I had called for help twice. 2) After my first night at hotel, I was awoken by loud maintenance happening in the room next to me, this went on for hours and no one offered any apologies as I walked by twice hoping someone would at least acknowledge the inconvenience 3) For the price paid, more amenities were expected despite Covid other properties have managed to provide safe services. 4) The lock to the patio did not lock at all. So I basically hoped I would be in the suite and no one would try to enter from the patio. I was thankful I had a brief stay and wasn't there most of time. 5) The hotel is in need of renovations and although classic and unique, there are better hotels and boutique properties within the same area. 6) Bathroom edges were definitely not cleaned as there was obvious residue. The jacuzzi did not look like it was working nor had it been cleaned in a long time. Slates on top were broken. Overall, I was disappointed and some of my complaints were saved for review because my confidence in any of the above being resolved was minimal and I simply wanted to get checked out. to the general manager: Indicate clearly the things that are not available instead of misleading statements that they could be available on limited basis and train staff to be friendlier. One gentleman who wore glasses was pleasant during every encounter and took care of the double booking error.  Room maintenance and offering alternatives when services such as room service, restaurant, or spa should be automatic. Create some local deals for guests staying with nearby properties or something so that people don't pay $600 plus for something that they didn't get. Update: My card was now charged again almost 2 weeks after my stay for the same overcharge from before!

This hotel was absolutely DISGUSTING! It was dirty, there were plumbing issues. The refrigerator in the room was hot. The hot tub on the balcony was broken and falling apart. Mold on the lampshades. Dirty. DIRTY! DIRTY!! Catfished by pics.

We left after one night. Huge roach crawling around our bathroom, loud music and marijuana smoke wafting in from balcony below my sister's room late at night and then everywhere in the hallway atrium the next morning, and all 3 rooms were worn down and not very clean. It is obvious that the hotel is currently catering to a certain clientele and this is not a family-friendly place at the moment. Another couple leaving at the same time we did mentioned they heard an all-out brawl in the room next to them - no one at the front desk answered and they were too scared to leave their room. This would be expected of a 1 star motel but not someplace trying to advertise as high end in Coconut Grove. The website photos are clearly edited because none of our 3 rooms looked as clean or nice as the website does. Such a shame - the hotel could be really amazing with some TLC invested and being fully staffed. The staff were very understanding and kind, if only the powers that be would invest in some much-needed renovations and increased staffing to keep up with guest volume and hotel cleanliness.
