We stayed one night before our cruise. We were pleasantly surprised with the nice upgrade to a suite at check in. Thank you so much! It was a lovely room with a great view. We did go down to BOULUDSUD to have dinner. We ordered the BOULUD SUD BURGER. It was delicious and came with fries. There was a problem with our ticket and that’s why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW THEY ADD A SERVICE CHARGE OF 18% TO YOUR CHECK. My husband didn’t notice that and tipped on top. I highly recommend staying here if visiting Miami. We will be back.

I selected this location for my cousin’s birthday and it truly was the best decision made. The hotel is beautiful, and super clean. The staff is EXTREMELY welcoming, accommodating, helpful & generous. From the very first call, I felt comfortable and at ease. Once we arrived Matthew checked us in a beautiful suite, he was filled with great energy and positive vibes! Andres. M is so amazing!! He took great care of us the entire time! On top of that the restaurant had really good food and lovely staff! I’m so thankful I picked this hotel because it made our trip to Miami 10xs better! I highly recommended selecting this hotel. They are the best !

OMG!!! This hotel is very beautiful and clean. Their staff are very polite and sweet people. Andres. M is one of the nicest chief concierge I have ever met. He was so nice and understanding. He made sure that we had the best time while staying at the hotel. Matthew Perez was the person who checked us in, he was so nice and very helpful. Whenever you guys are in Miami, J.W Marquis is the place to stay at, the view is amazing and they have excellent breakfast.

As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest with over 880 nights in Marriott properties around the world based in the Turks and Caicos, Miami is my hub to the World wherever I travel from my little heaven on earth life in the islands for 20+ years. Yes, I (We) travel through Miami on a regular basis pre / present…post COVID. I had a great first impression of the Marquis before I had ever stayed at the property. I stayed at a lot of Marriott properties in Miami through the years. That says something about Marriott in Miami in general, but in more recent years I seem to have ever more request visits to the Marquis perfectly located in Miami Downtown/ Brickell Area. The entire team at the Marquis are amazing, but in particular Andres the Chief Concierge at BOTH the Marriott Marquis Miami AND the Hotel Beaux Arts Miami (that looks inviting but truthfully never stayed yet), because I have been very happy being here as a little escape. Andres Menses is in my top 1% of all those providing Concierge Service at some amazing Marriott properties around the world I continue to have the pleasure to Stay @ & Experience around the world. I could and maybe should write more about. Last but not least for this first review written from Marriott Marquis…my Home anyway from Home Hotel in Miami, in my next Marriott Review, I will so easily continue to Right (no pun intended) about and share with you our Experiences at the Marquis Miami. Next Up…A Rising Star Jillian Torres. The Next Generation That Will be a Master of Marriott. Another Great Stay! We will be back soon before long. Book with the anticipation you will experience some of what I am talking about.

We just got back from two nights in Miami, and we stayed at this JW Marriott Marquis, on Biscayne Boulevard. Definitely consider it if you're in Miami. It's a sleek, high-rise hotel amidst other high rises overlooking the water. It's nice and clean, with several nice amenities, and it's in a nice area. The restaurant in the hotel - the Boulud Sud - is also very nice. We had a good meal there. To us, the best part of our stay was the excellent, friendly staff. Everyone from the hotel maid to the bell staff to the bartender to our restaurant waiter. At this JW Marriott, you'll note most of the patrons appear to be the Miami Nightlife Set, and this hotel caters to them. For example, the nice little coffee/pastry bar on the 2d floor isn't open on Sunday mornings... as if this JW Marriott knows most of its Sunday morning guests won't be up before Noon. That isn't convenient for us other guests, but the hotel restaurant stepped in and gave us coffee and pastry to take back to our room. Another sign that the Miami Nightlife Set likes this hotel was the early Sunday morning screaming match in the adjacent room. That we heard through our wall as we were trying to sleep. Something about he left her at the club. The JW Marriott had nothing to do with that, though, and we decided not to call the front desk. In summary, we like this hotel. Definitely consider it for your Miami stay. The minor problems with this hotel that we experienced (sink and shower problems) were greatly outweighed by all the things this hotel does very, very well. PS- Hotel signs say COVID masks for guests are optional if guests have been vaccinated. But almost every guest wore one regardless. All the staff does.
