Mr C is a strange building with very little in the way of public spaces. The rooms however are excellent clearly inspired by yacht interiors with heavily lacquered wood and nautical prints. Acoustic separation follows the nautical theme in not being very good. However it’s a slick product and immaculately clean. The lobby space is cramped and all available space utilised in two restaurants at the ground and on the rooftop. The Italian restaurant on the rooftop (Bellini) is something of a scene and is very popular. If it appeals it should be booked at the same time the accommodation is booked. However it’s view of the sea can also be enjoyed in the morning when an over-priced and disappointing breakfast is served by men in white jackets and bow ties hamming up their European pedigree.…
Spent a night here with my wife on a very brief visit to Miami. Was looking for a small, elegant boutique hotel away from the garishness of South Beach and the hustle bustle and sterility of Brickell. We could not have been more pleased with this 100 room hotel. The staff was amazing and attentive, and I am grateful to Roberto who went out of his way to get us a dinner reservation at the wonderful Bellini Restaurant in the hotel even though it was fully booked. The rooms are tastefully done, the mattress was exceedingly comfortable and the bathroom was great. And the neighborhood around the hotel is great for walking and exploring, shopping and eating and only a few hundred yards from the marina. I’ve stayed in some other properties that are part of the Leading Hotels of the World and this one definitely merits it’s inclusion.…
This hotel treats everyone with respect and kindness! The staff and service are beyond my expectations! The restaurant has amazing views and food! We look forward to returning each month! I highly recommend this hotel!
Beautiful hotel great staff everything very close very clean just real nice highend hotel. If you’re going to the beach it’s about a 10 minute drive or so but other than that everything is very close.
This is a high end luxury hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The decor is absolurely beautiful. I upgraded to a room with a 'view'. The upgrade was not worth the additional fee. On the 3rd floor, I could only see a sliver of the bay and the noise from the traffic below was bothersome as I sat on the balcony. The best view of the bay is on the top floor at the pool. The music and cocktails are fabulous. It's a shame that it closes at 7pm. I would love to see what the skyline looks like at night! The 'SPA' was a disappointment. It is literally one room with a bathroom. There is no receptionist. My treatment was abruptly interrupted by a knock on the door by the next patron. The bathroom shower was filled with storage items so I was unable to shower after the treatment. The massage itself was decent but but terribly expensive $250, $300 with taxes and fees! I expected more with that price tag. Champagne in a relaxing chair as I waited. I sat on a bench in the bathroom. I would not recommend the SPA. There are several other options within walking distance of the hotel. Overall I would rate my trip as a 7/10 for R&R.…
Excellent Service Friendly staff As an Italian Hotel I will add expresso Machines in rooms Breakfast at the Restaurant Bellini was nice with an incredible view Activities at the Hotel were good I highly recommend it
hotel is in a great location! service was high end and the restaurant and bar is fabulous.I would recommend staying here again. The area has a lot of offer, with local attractions, and is very walkable.
We stayed 4 nights in July 2022 and were very pleased with the quality of the furnishings in the rooms, and most of all, the excellent service, in particular the attentions by the manager, Ms. Valeria Nahir, who made our stay even more pleasant. The hotel is in an excellent location, within 2 minutes walking distance to many shops, cafes and restaurants. The view from the rooms facing the sea is splendid. We highly recommend Mr. C while in the Miami area.
We secured an okay rate and the rooms were okay with what you'd expect service etc. Last minute my business partner and I needed seperate rooms and they charged a rate of double, despite the fact the room wouldn't have been otherwise booked. Just doesn't indicate they are going to look after their customers.
Beautiful hotel, 5 stars, perfect location, Mr, C is an Italian hotel, part of the Chipperani brand. Dinning service and food in the restaurant is a beautiful experience, it is located on a long patio over looking Biscayne Bay and the greenery of Coconut Grove. The hotel architecture influence is a luxury 1920’s ship. The lobby has Murano glass fixtures. The lobby’s well appointed outdoor patio serves drinks and snacks, I loved the Italian olives with chunks of fresh Italian Parmesan cheese. Mr, C’s is the best hotel in Coconut Grove, I have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times in the past 5 years and it never disappoints.
