When I arrived on Friday afternoon Chelle at front desk told me that the computer systems were down and apologized as they will be a delay in getting the room I digitally checked in for. I said no worries and to please let me know when it will be ready. I sat back and watched as she and the lady from housekeeping I believe along with Raul walked back and forth to expedite the checking of guests and resolve problems. This was defiantly not easy but they were excellent in how the managed the situation. When the surge of guest had lightened I was escorted to my room by Raul and I told him that his team was excellent despite the challenging circumstances. The room was comfortable and breakfast was very good. Thank you guys for your hospitality and I'll be looking forward to visiting longer the next time i'm in town.…
This place was absolutely amazing. The pool and the Courtyard are like a little Oasis of its own with Cabanas and a fire pitt. The hotel rooms are super clean and staff was great. Unless you are looking at the water this is the best day in Miami and the best location. Just one mile from a beach in 2 miles from the Ocean aquarium
We had to wait 30 minutes in the reception, for check in that was done by hand writing. keys (Cards) were available, which meant that the receptionist had to escort us to the room, and open it. each time we went out we had to wait in line for someone to open it. it went on for 2 days. room was depressing - Dark, Almost no lights in the room. we hardly saw anything. moved us to another room not better that original. we had no water in the toilet- twice ! coffee maker didn't work . no room service. i had to go down, waited another 25 minutes in line just to hear that the receptionist is alone and it will take her several hours to bring us a new machine, worst hotel experience I ever had !
Whole staff is friendly, it was really pleasant to stay here while visiting family, rooms are super clean, they made accommodations based on our needs, secured, pool was clean, we stayed just for one night but would definitely revisit
Ciara, Chelle and Raul were amazing they took care of me and my partner, they made us feel so welcomed!! Highly recommend coming to the Hilton garden inn ! They made sure I felt comfortable in my room :)
The front desk staff were friendly. The hotel was totally booked with no room for changes. Our room smelled like old socks as soon as you entered the room A complete turn off. In addition, the mattress was one that had springs which was uncomfortable. The property itself was extremely inviting and clean. The location was close to Brickell without paying outrageous rates.
We don't live that far away, but stayed here for a night because of its' proximity to an event we were attending the following morning on Virginia Key. Here is a breakdown of our stay and some tips if you're planning on staying there. I booked a pool view room with 2 double beds, a pool view, parking and breakfast for $480. The price was in line for what this level of hotel was charging for this particular weekend. When we arrived, I went to hand my key to the valet and he told me to check in first, which I thought was odd. At any rate, I checked in and the person at the front desk brought my key to the valet and then handed me my ticket. When we went to check out the next day, the valet brought us someone else's vehicle as two tickets had gotten mixed up. TIP: f you valet here, definitely ensure that the actual ticket placed on your key fob matches your receipt stub. When we got to the room, the toilet was not working.. We called down to the front desk and they had a maintenance man to our the room within 10 minutes or so. We ended up needing to change rooms and the change was made quickly. When we went to breakfast in the morning, the hotel told us that they couldn't find that we had paid for the breakfast and parking. Breakfast was $15/person and was about what you'd expect for a Garden Inn: bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee, muffins etc. I went to pull up my reservation confirmation and realized that I'd never received a confirmation email showing the rate nor did my Hilton Honors account show the detailed rate--it only showed the type of room booked. I'm not sure if this was the result of us having to change rooms or if the hotel simply re-booked the reservation upon our arrival so as to charge individually for the breakfasts and parking. I noticed another reviewer made a similar comment about his reservation getting changed at check-in. Ultimately, the hotel charged us the correct rate that included parking and breakfast. TIP: Ensure the rate you booked is the rate you're getting charged at check-in and that you have documentation of it prior to checking into the hotel. We found the rooms to be clean and the beds are comfortable. The pillows were fairly thin, so if you have neck problems or need more support you might want to bring your own pillow. We experienced three issues on a one-night stay (mixed up valet tags, non-working toilet, confusion over the reservation), so I can't give it above a 3 rating although I will say that hotel employees were friendly and each of our issues were ultimately addressed.…
beautiful hotel. Chelle at the front desk is an amazing employee. Chelle went above and beyond to help me get my day started. I had missed breakfast. she created a to go bag with fruit, yogurt and water. I was very grateful for Chelle.
The staff here is great. Very friendly and accommodating. All the ladies at the front desk were amazing. Clean hotel, convenient location. Within the free brightline shuttle radius too which gave me easy piece of mind traveling to and from
The hotel is in an ok location (near Brickell) but my room could have been cleaner. For example, there was hair in the bathroom and there seemed to be stains on the floor. That said, the price was moderate for area but still relatively high.
