We stayed for one night and for the most part enjoyed the experience. The best aspect of this hotel is its prime location and stunning views of Brickell Bay at night. The rooms are very comfortable, though they clearly resemble the former's hotel brand, not W. Some staff are extremely professional and others clearly need more training. My only big complaint is that Covid protocols aren't really enforced and you see fellow guests not wearing masks throughout the hotel.

We wanted a getaway as I’ve stayed here years ago. The Vrbo we stayed in was amazing views BUT many things aren’t the 5 stars it once was. First off it’s now all 25 and 30 year olds staying here. Girls trips kinda thing and wearing tight work out outfits with everything hanging out!🙄. If you are over 40 and want elegance and up to date service etc this isn’t for you. It’s almost like spring breakers. The room had some issues but Maria fixed everything ASAP. She was a godsend. No real hot water in the shower. Like warm. Sarah at the pool restaurant makes great drinks FYI BUT they aren’t allowing sit down inside due to Covid ??? Whatever, only outdoor and you have to order at the bar. There is zero signage anywhere so good luck getting around. Very frustrating. I will not stay here again it’s def NOT what it used to be. It’s sad because the room has an amazing view.

Flor at front desk was exceptional made sure I was taken care of! Stayed in room 1103 and she made everything possible for me this trip! Valet and Bellman so attentive and friendly as well, lots of things were closed during my stay so I didn't get to experience the food or Spa while I was there but hopefully opens back soon so I can come back! No Ice machine on the floors and also Hotel is shared with Condo residences ICON, It was tricky with valet because I had to keep circling around until someone from valet at W was able to assist me, They share amenities such as pool spa and gym, I went to go look at gym and they said I needed to pay for a pass to workout there not sure If I understood right so I just left, Looks like there was just a security guard monitoring to check guests from residents I didn't follow up on it. Great hotel would definitely recommend!

Checked in at 5, sitting in the lobby for a room to be available. Ridiculously unprofessional. Expected more from the W brand, won’t be staying here again. Not even offered any kind of compensation, drink, cookie, apology.

Avoid this hotel. After a horrible check-in process, provided a room that was already being used, and then downgraded us to a lower floor despite their mistake. No sense of customer service. Masks are not enforced at all and the front desk routinely allows guests without masks and raucous guests to roam around in the lobby, while subjecting guests to a lengthy check in process. Overpriced and not a good experience.
