The W was the best place I’ve stayed in Miami. I’ve been down here quite bit and this was my favorite. Service was unmatched. Eron, Kyiah, Sebastian, gave me the best service on the beach. Definitely will be coming back!

As an Ambassador Elite member of Marriott's Bonvoy Program, I was recently at the W Miami Hotel with my wife over the New Year's weekend. Our experience at this property was absolutely the worst hotel stay I have had in years. Our room overlooked Brickell Ave where gangs of motorized ATV riders race up and down the streets and sidewalks without any law enforcement in sight. Loud race cars revving their engines at all hours of the night interrupted our sleep each night. Our bathroom had mold in the shower and on the floor outside the shower in multiple places. Coffee was not available until 8:00AM even though the front desk claimed it was available at 7:00AM. The restaurant on-site was closed for two days due to the New Year's holiday creating a major disruption to our stay as there were not a lot of options in close proximity to the hotel. There was no extra toilet paper left in the room and we had to ask for more when we ran out. When I complained to the front desk I was told a manger would contact me, which never occurred. I spent North of $4k for four days at this hotel and very much wish I would have stayed home. My recommendation is to STEER CLEAR of this property.

So where do I begin?!!! I NEVER repeat NEVER do these reviews, but I couldn’t wait to get home and post about my stay this past weekend at the W. First off save your money, this hotel is NOT worth it!!! I read some of the reviews about this hotel before booking, and I read SEVERAL reviews stating that when they arrived. So what do you know, my fiancé and I arrived on Thursday December 30, 2021 at 5:45pm! When we went to check in, Nestor let us know that our room wasn't ready. Which I found really strange being that check in I believe was at 3. So he informed us that he would need to talk to the housekeeping manager to see how long it would take/what he could do. So we waited to the side, he then let us know that he had a standard room available, and that it was at a discounted price!!! Are you kidding me?!! The room that we paid for “corner suite” was like 2,000 plus dollars, so why would we pay for a standard room? I told him, absolutely NOT, and that that wouldn’t work/be an option for us, and that we had dinner reservations at 9. So i think he seen how upset I was, and then seconds later, the room “magically” was ready all of sudden!! (What a coincidence). He then states that he upgrades us to a better room. (Can’t remember the name of the room) So we got our key, went up to the room, the first thing I noticed when we walked in, was the room had a funny oder to it. We went to the bedroom to try and turn the Tv on, and guess what? It didn’t work! So we called down stairs to let them know, and they said someone would be up to check it out. That took foooooooooorever for someone to come. So while we were waiting, my fiancé went to use the bathroom, and guess what??! The toilet wouldn’t flush!! So when we went to call again to see what was taking so long, we heard a knock on the door, it was the maintenance guy. So he came in fixed the Tv, I then I told him that the toilet didn’t work as well. So he went left and said he would be back with a plunger. So he left came back up stairs to try and fix the toilet, got to the toilet, and realized it wasn’t clogged, and that the handle was broken. Soooo he had to go back and get whatever he needed to fix the toilet. So he fixed the toilet and left. So my fiancé and I then started to get ready for dinner. As we were walking out, I had to throw something away in the garbage can, when I realized, guess what?? There was trash behind the garbage can, which I’m assuming was left from the previous guests. So when we came back from dinner, I noticed a gentleman standing behind the check in counter in the lobby, so I went up to the counter, and asked him what was the name of the manager? He then states that he was one of them (Steve). He’s like what happened, what can I help you with? So I told him everything that happened, and let him know being how much we paid for the room etc what we walked into, you would think that the room(s) would be in tip top notch shape. He told me that he understood and that he would give us a 150.00 dollar room service credit, and a breakfast voucher for each day. We said thank you, and proceeded to our room. When we got back to the room, I realized the room wasn’t kinda stuffy, so I turned the ac down to 68. We noticed the front of the room was cooler than in the bedroom (after a day or so, we noticed that the ac had to be on 68/69 in order for it to be cool in the bedroom. So one day we went to check the vents, the particular one in the bathroom, we noticed had a bunch of condensation on it, and what looked like mold. We also noticed as we shut one of the bathroom doors, one of the handles behind the door was missing! The closet doors, when you opened them, had blue tape with numbers on it, why I couldn’t tell you. Overall, the room was significantly outdated. The ONLY good thing about our stay, was the New Years party that they had on the rooftop and valet parking!!! Would never stay here again!!! Save your money people

This review is for the W Miami (Brickell) and not for its (better) sister hotel on South Beach. This hotel is good. Rooms are decorated nicely, although city-sized. For the sensitive sleepers, many of the rooms face a VERY active street and many have balconies, so you’ll need to bring ear plugs for the various sirens, motos and the like that constantly pass by. Bathrooms could use a minor refresh — nothing major. The on-site amenities give this hotel its status — particularly the 15th floor pool deck, luxury spa and gym. These are top-notch.
