We love our little cottage on Matlacha! The street out front, the Main Street through the island, is noisy and often packed...but step outside your door and around the back and visit another world. Right on the water of Matlacha Pass with palms and a...More
We stayed in the Pink Waterfront cottage for a week. It was small but had everything we needed for a week. The best part was the beautiful view of Matlacha Pass. The cottage had a small deck with a high top table and two chairs....More
This is a great place to go it is near many places to shop and eat. The area is beautiful and unique, you can purchase many hand made gifts for everyone. I love to visit this place each and every time I am near by.
Three of us stayed at the Green cottage for five days right after Christmas. The cottage had all we needed and the park-like setting in the backyard pushed this rating to excellent. We started each day sitting out on the deck, which was directly on...More

Hello, Are the cabins kind of private or can you hear everything in the cabins next door? I stayed at a cabin in a campground and it may as well not have had walls. LOL

I believe the best way to answer that is through our guest comments. We are rated 4.8 out of a possible five rating on Trip Advisor. That said, we do not live where there are five acres between cottages, here you can reach out to your neighbor. We have a communal dock and barbeque area. We all agree that the natural beauty of our natural surroundings makes up for any minor inconvenience brought on by innovation of the twenty-first century. Lastly, we do offer a full house rental as well as having the duplex and at any one time our maximum capacity is only ten people. Please keep in mind we live on an island: one road in one road out.
Thank you for inquiring about Matlacha-Cottage.
