There are a lot of good things to say about the surf club. As others note the central beach location is a plus. It's a wide and beautiful beach (full of shells in places, so bring beach shoes or flip flops). The club is relatively...More
My wife and I spent four nights at The Surf Club. It is a smaller HGVC property than others at which we have stayed. Our two bedroom unit met our expectations. The unit was clean and the furniture was comfortable. The bathrooms were on the...More
I have been enjoying the Surf Club for the past 20 years. The facility has been in place for decades but you wouldn’t know it when you visit. We see new upgrades every year we visit; new furniture, kitchen appliances, flooring, etc. This year they...More
Unit assigned to us was above an adjacent restaurant's roof and cooking fans. Strong smell of kitchen exhaust while out on the balcony was unpleasant as was the very limited view of the ocean. Resort would not change our room to oceanfront as they claimed...More

Beautiful oceanfront two bedroom well equipped condo on Marco island. The master bedroom has a full bathroom with a king sized bed. There are two twins in the second bedroom and a pullout sofa in the living room.

Rooms ending in 9 or 11 do NOT face the beach. They look smack at the side of the Hilton Hotel to the south. The "lovely large balconies" on the "quiet south side" that someone raved about several years ago now overlook a very noisy and hugely unattractive low utility building with loud blowers and other service equipment on the roof operating 24/7. NOT good rooms if you can get something else.
