My family and I spent 5 days at this property. Upon arrival, there was a lot of confusion over the safety of the elevator in the parking garage. It ended up being shut down for our entire stay which caused a little inconvenience. The attendant working the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We rented a unit on the 10th floor from Holiday Life. There was a slight problem when we first arrived, but we were able to get it handled. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed the beach and pool. The food and service at the bar near the beach and pool were excellent. Sunsets each evening were beautiful. We had a great stay and would return.
This was a last minute reservation and first time we booked through VRBO. Apparently, the property had just been changed over from a hotel/condo to just a condo at the end of May. The condo was managed by VACASA, and it was confusing in trying to communicate through text messaging, for which we only had one response. The location was perfect though, just a walk down to the beach, but since it is now only a condo, there was no pool or beach side food/drink service. There was a small bar on the property that you could order from and it was right next to the JW Marriot, so you can walk next door on the beach to access their beach front restaurant. There was a Keurig in the room, but only green tea pods were providing, but no coffee. Be sure to bring your own. Best part was the sunset view each night!…
We had a great stay! This resort does not provide any services other than the pool, beach, jacuzzi. You must be prepared to bring coffee, supplies, etc. for in room prep. I am not used to that. If you don't come prepared, you have to travel off site for morning coffee. Our room had a Keurig, I do not know if that's the norm. Vacuuming started outside our unit at 8am on a Sunday morning. That is way too early and the resort should rethink that practice. Some of the elevator button lights don't work and we didn't know if the elevator was coming or not. The garage elevator was VERY slow. Front desk staff were not very welcoming/friendly and were not provided with a map of the resort - how to get around to the pool. Confusing layout. Once we did, the beach was glorious! The chairs/umbrellas are at a cost ($25 / day). For the price, we would stay again.…
Just FYI as of May this property is no longer operating as a resort, it's condos that you can rent via Vrbo or Airbnb. We were there the first week of May in it's transitional period and it was just ok. We booked months in advance not knowing the resorts plan. No pool bar anymore and the beach is further than it looks in photos. The condo was very nice and it's a beautiful view but there's nothing within reach. You can't use the beach chairs unless you pay for them and the drinks at the beach bar were extremely overpriced. Plan on door dash and instacart the whole week. You're on your own. I admit I'm spoiled by AI resorts in the Caribbean.
This was one of the nicest resorts we’ve ever stayed at. My husband and I went with our twin 16 year old daughters and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us! There was a walk to get to the beach, but once you get there you are met with a team of people who are there to make sure you’re comfortable. They set you up with lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels and an ice bucket filled with waters. This, alone, made the entire trip for us. Plus, they had an abundance of chairs so we didn’t have to wake up and get down there early just to make sure we got a seat. Whenever we went down, they set us right up. Also, they are happy to take orders for food and drinks from your beach chair. There weren’t many dining options, so we did venture out most days for breakfast and dinner. The resort was not overcrowded (we visited another resort (JW Marriot) to grab a bite to eat and we couldn’t believe how many people were there! The pools were completely filled and there were tons of children everywhere. This made us love our resort even more!! We considered the Marriott before booking here, and this resort was definitely a better fit for us and our family. It was low-key, professional and far exceeded our expectations. Although there were mostly families with children with us, it wasn’t overcrowded at all. We will most definitely be returning!!…
This is my second time here and thankfully I am leaving tomorrow. The first team here was a huge success which made us come back here. For this trip I paid over $1,000 a night for a 2 bedroom suite with a gulf view. After the 5th day we finally realized that the air conditioning in the bedrooms were broken. We let the front desk know and they had let maintenance know. They tried to fix it, but not until after the pool, right before dinner did they let us know the compressor was broken and we had to switch rooms. A manager came to let me know that he has another 2 bedroom suite on the 6th floor for us for the last 2 nights and that he would cut the price to $600 for those two nights. I guess at this point I was a little thankful. Got to the room and went to see what our new view was like and it was looking at a street and a tree. Gee, thanks for the discount. He never told me I had this view. If I wanted to look at a tree for $600 a night I would have stayed in NY. Went downstairs furious. Now they lowered the price to $300 and change. It gets better. I then realize this room is infested with Ants. Told the front desk and they said they would send housekeeping. They really didn’t care much. This place is really going downhill. Vacationers, beware.…
This hotel was super clean. We got room service and cleaning of our room everyday. We got 3 chairs and an umbrella by the beach complimentary of the hotel stay everyday during our stay. Superb service and friendly staff. Highly highly recommend this hotel. We had a fabulous time.
The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The location is fantastic. The pool, pool bar and beach couldn’t be nicer. Room service was great and the Restuarant top notch. Great experience. We stayed in unit 502 which has a garden patio on the pool level, very convenient
I read many, many reviews so that I would be prepared for this resort. It was everything I hoped it would be. Staff was personable, friendly and doted on our every request. We arrived prior to check in and was happy to hear that our room was available from the staff, which was warm and welcoming. The resort is gorgeous, right on the beach...yes, those of you who have read about the walk through the parking garage to the beach might be concerned....the walk is about 30 seconds...not a deterrent to staying here. Our room was exquisite, exactly what I imagined and hoped for, room 801....spacious, updated and clean. The sweet housekeeper was familiar with her residents and greeted us daily, provided room cleaning and I'm sure another resort member provided the turn down service. The staff on the beach provided a quick setup for beach chairs, which include complimentary water. There are many amenities which we did not use, but the hotel did provide. There is so much more to this resort................I can not wait to come back.…
Having a hotel-like condo experience was apricated, especially the large bathroom. The kitchen served us well, although the freezer is quite small (there is an ice machine). Comfortable bed, nice furnishings and excellent, large TVs. The pool and beach bars & restaurants had friendly staff and excellent, albeit expensive, food and drinks. We didn't find out until a few days into our stay, but breakfast is served on the Gulf-front 2nd-floor patio of the restaurant building. We had an EXCELLENT dinner at Sale e Pepe Italian restaurant and highly recommend it. I have a couple of notes for future guests. The residences at the resort are up against Collier Blvd, not right on the sand. This made for a fairly long walk to get to the beach. I paced it out as over 300 yards from the elevator lobby to the water's edge. Also, there is no way to get to the beach without either walking through the parking garage or riding a tired service elevator. We stayed on the 6th floor, so one would expect a view of the Gulf, but with the exception of a small gap, the view is blocked by the pool deck trees and planting as well as the restaurant building. If a gulf view is important, book on at least the 9th floor. The view from our unit was nice, as the pool deck is lushly landscaped, just don't expect to be gazing down on the shore. The pool was heated but the jacuzzi was not during our stay. One pet peave of mine was that people "claimed" pool chairs early in the morning then showed up much later. I stopped by one morning about 8 or 9am, there were over 40 chaises around the pool, all but one had towels and maybe a magazine on them but were obviously unused. There were only 7 people at the pool. The management should police this rude behavior this as it often leads to conflicts between guests.…
