We love this place. The rooms are spacious and clean. The area is fantastic and so close to Johns Pass. We love the fact you don't even need to rent a car. So much to do by trolly and Uber. Shoreline is steps from the Gulf of Mexico with beautiful ocean views. What really makes this place special is the down home family vibe management and their employees give us. It's so welcoming. We love them and even shared our bbq

Very nice resort with nice amenities and location. We stayed in room 340 in building 5. It was a king room with water facing balcony and a small kitchenette. Pool was open dawn to dusk. Pool towels are provided at front desk from 8a-10p. There’s a coin operated laundry facility on site with 3 washers ($1.50 per load) & 3 dryers ($1.00 per load). No change machine (that I saw) so be sure to bring quarters or maybe the front desk offers change. There is also no laundry detergent or dryer sheets vending (also that I saw). so you’ll need to bring some or stop by a local retail dhop to buy some. Breakfast was served from 8am —11am and it consisted of apple and orange juice, cups of yogurt, string cheese sticks, nutrigrain bars, fig bars, granola bars and packets of instant oatmeal ( with carafe of hot water available). Coffee with creamer and sugar is offered at breakfast and throughout the day until 8pm. Our room had a sink, full oven and stove , small fridge and microwave along with basic kitchen preparation and eating items. There are plenty of tables and loungers around the pool along with a line of tables and loungers near beach and ocean. The vibe was very laid back, calm and relaxing. There is a small area where beach chairs and pool noodles are first come first serve for resort guests. The city manages the loungers, chairs and umbrella daily rental on the beach (if that’s preferred). This is definitely a resort that I would 100% recommend. Only issue was that there were no disinfectant spray or wipes in the gym- this isn’t a deal breaker but I would like to see a can of disinfectant wipes available for after equipment use. Adult only, smoke free reset, laid back, peaceful and relaxing- it checked all the boxes for us.

We've been coming here for years! We enjoy the quietness, if there is such a word. No loud music or people staying up late, making noise. Probably because this is an adult only place, no one under 21. The rooms are always very clean and with the small kitchenette, you have options to eat in or out. The views of the beach and gulf are spectacular. The staff is always friendly, professinal and helpful, they make you feel so welcome like family. We only book here if we're going to the gulf. Already have a booking in September for a return visit for a week. Come to Shoreline Island Resort for your next trip to the west coast, you'll be pleasantly surprised!!

No daily maid service as advertised on their website, you need to request it 1 day in advance. I prefer no daily maid service, so it was great for me, but I had to ask on second day, it wasn't mentioned when I checked in. Also, I was asked car color/ model but others had a parking pass provided to put in their car as well as asked license plate number. Thankfully no issues with my car as a result of no parking pass issued. Pros: Spectacular gulf front views, mostly friendly staff, private balcony. Neutral: Reasonable rate, breakfast options are apple/orange juice, yogurt, cheese stick, cereal bar, and/or prepackaged blueberry muffin, the water pressure is just OK in shower. Cons: no paper towels or oven hot pads (bare minimum in utensils, pans, etc) in kitchen, 4th floor units in main building are below penthouse suite where owner/relatives/friends stay (Christmas only?) - I could hear someone (possible toddler) running across the room (never actually saw a small child but it was a distinct small child running sound), chairs above scraping on the floor (no noise from neighboring units-so maybe just a floor to floor issue?) window in bathroom is partially blocked open (no bathroom fan) so very noisy from road noise and chilly with the wind blowing in the right/wrong direction (I had to close bathroom door 1 night to keep the chill in the bathroom), nasty smelling cigar smoker smelled twice from balcony (upstairs owner/relative?), also same smoker walked past me on property to the beach with lit cigar and 4th time smelled it from a group sitting on the patio, so obviously known to owner/relatives/friends and allowed to smoke on property. With minimal supplies offered, was surprised that a repeat/known/regular guest asked for a refill of mouthwash (not offered in my room) but they don't supply paper towels or hot pads? Just a weird quirk, I thought. Overall, it was an OK place to stay. I would have rated it a 4 except for the smoker and his and staff's blatant disregard for the comfort of others staying there (I can tolerate cigarette smoke but this was a nasty cigar smell). I wanted to find a place to return for an annual vacation. I may give it a 2nd chance but request a gulf front room in the other building and not on the 4th floor.

We are repeat customers and having stayed at other hotels up & down Gulf Boulevard now only stay at Shoreline Resort. This trip was to renew our vows on the beach and it couldn't have been a nicer stay. The staff is all so friendly and caring about every aspect of your stay. We were advised about construction between 9-5 (inside room renovation not exterior) but we never heard it ourselves and understand hotels want to keep their rooms modern. Our room was impeccably clean and there are sliding glass doors to a balcony with a table and chairs that is perfect for relaxing. At night you fall asleep to the soft sound of waves lapping on the shore. The hotel has a heated pool with foam noodles, fresh towels, etc (note: this hotel is for adults 21+ only so we choose it for a quieter experience). You can walk right onto the beach and swim, walk the shore or look for shells. There are amazing sunsets looking out over the Gulf of Mexico and terrific restaurants nearby, as well as trips on a pirate ship and dolphin adventures at John's Pass. Check out Dockside Dave's restaurant across the street up a few blocks for huge grouper sandwiches. This is by far the best place to stay for adults and very welcome.

We enjoyed our stay at Shoreline Island Resort very much. We had a one bedroom suite that was roomy and very well equipped. It was great having a washer and dryer in our suite. We loved having a balcony to look out at the ocean and the location was close to many restaurants. I loved walking along the beach for as far as I wanted. John's Pass was a half hour walk away or a short drive. Everyone on staff at Shoreline was pleasant and helpful. The pool was large enough to swim laps, although sometimes a bit crowded. There are lots of loungers and chairs around the pool area. I was very happy that the entire property (including all outside areas) is non-smoking and that there were recycling bins available.

Absolutely love Shoreline! Our room had a breathtaking view of the Gulf, just steps away from our balcony. The room was charming, had 2 recliners, a stocked kitchen, and plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom. Fresh towels were always available as well as beach towels. The staff is amazing! They are so sweet and ready to assist. Parking is free and the resort is in close proximity to area restaurants & shopping. The evening sunsets are a beach event each day. Yes, a return trip is planned.

Being at an Adult-Only, smaller resort is wonderful! But there were kids in the owner’s suite. This should not be allowed. Great views from our spacious 2 bedroom suite in the Office bldg.. Steps to the Gulf. Plenty of hot water for showers. Beds comfy. We used the kitchen and provided equipment daily, tho’ the large glass table took up too much of the space, and chair backs uncomfortable on old bones. Having recliners is wonderful, tho’ the current ones are flimsy, need updating to LazyBoy! The heated pool is very nice. We would have liked a shade cover over the 2 tables by the large parking area wall as too close to wall for umbrellas. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They answered questions and fulfilled requests rapidly. Prior to arrival they worked with the electric beach wheelchair rental co. to arrange a dry, safe place to store it when we weren’t using it. We did request Housekeeping service for the 3rd day of our 4 day stay, but it was not done; I was told the person I spoke with did not enter our request in the log. When I called, more towels, etc. were immediately brought and used ones removed. Would like to see a mop and vacuum in the room since housekeeping infrequent. Negatives: • We wanted an Accessible 2 bedroom suite but they have only one King studio accessible. Please consider at least one more 2 bedroom suite and/or an accessible 2 bedroom suite for our aging, handicapped, yet mobile society. • There was a lack of cleanliness in the suite. There were dirty floor corners/edges, some sticky spots on kitchen counters, a little debris in some cupboards/drawers, and dirty spots on the outside of appliances/ back splashes in the kitchen. Luckily we brought sanitizing wipes and cleaning supplies. • Drip coffeemakers are out of date - need a K cup machine please (we brought our own)! • Living room TV remote not fully functional (no Menu, closed caption, etc.) Fitness Center needs a stationary bike for those who are handicapped and can't use treadmill. • This 2 bedroom suite is very run-down/shabby, but I was told it is due for a needed renovation in the fall.Meanwhile, a coat of paint and a thorough cleaning couldn't hurt. Despite negatives, we had a restful time and would return AFTER RENOVATION and thorough cleaning after each occupant of the 2 bedroom suite!

Spent 1 week at Shoreline which was a relaxing getaway as an adult only resort. Service was spot on. Accommodations were ideal for us as a couple as was the location. Johns Pass Pier was a casual 15 minute walk and there are a few bars & restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Our room balcony faced the Pool, Beach and Gulf. The Beach is pristine and was not over-crowded unlike Clearwater Beach considering it was Spring Break. We are considering a return there next year.

We have already spent vacation in this resort five or six times and this time everything was as usual. Comfortable room, Frequently located right on the beach, close to many restaurants and shops within walking distance or 5-10 minutes by car, the room is equipped with everything necessary for a good stay We are grateful to the staff for their attentive attitude towards customers and even grateful to the polite gentleman at the reception desk, who refused to allow us to late check out for one hour. This prompted me to not book this hotel for the next year as usual but book the hotel on St Maarten , we need to expand the geography of travel.
