This was our first visit to the area and this property. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Our condo was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The property only has 8 units which is perfect because there are no crowds. The beach was perfect. We will definitely be back next year.

Oh my goodness guys ... this place is just a gem! We have littles, and we’re all about the convenience when we visit the beach, and after a lot of research, we settled on the sea grape inn for our Memorial Day get away.
I called Wanda, the property’s super amazing manager, and she advised that condo # 3 would fit our family best, as it has a king / pull out sofa / 2 twins, also, #3 is on the first floor (so no up and down stairs with the small kids) and it’s very close to the beach and the pool, and not far from parking either.
It was simply perfect. The pool is larger than it looks and heated, the small boardwalk to the beach is very short, much shorter than it looks in photos so the walk to the beach is like 45 seconds, the kitchen was fully stocked with gadgets, dishes , etc.
The ocean is clear and beautiful, there are chairs assigned to sea grape waiting up by the dunes, you just grab, use, then put back at the end of the day.
Did I mention the dolphins and the manatees yet ?? 🐬 We saw manatees once, and dolphins multiple times throughout our stay 💕
I’m always searching for that perfect beach spot for our family ... we found it ! 🏖

We returned to #6 for the second year in a row because it is just perfect! It is stylishly and comfortably furnished with great beds, beautiful bathrooms, and a stunning, well-equipped kitchen. The beach and pool are just steps away and the individual unit and common areas are all very well maintained. We have been visiting LBK for many years and wish we had found this condo a lot sooner than we did.

Condo No. 2 : The apartment is lovely and homely with two good sized bedrooms. It has everything you need for the perfect stay. Sea Grape Inn was very quiet with a nice pool area and direct access to the beach where there are plenty of sun loungers for guest use. The on site laundry room works well and Wanda is always available for any questions or assistance. We couldn't have asked for a better location for our family holiday and cannot wait to come back later in the year!

We stayed in Unit 1 which had an excellent beach front view. The unit was spotless with clear instructions for our stay. While my wife handled most of the communication with Wanda, the onsite manager, it is my understanding she was helpful and informative. We were steps to the beach with no problem grabbing some chairs to lounge by the ocean. The unit came with umbrellas but really only 2 were functional. While our unit had beach towels available for us, there were only two. If you require more then I would ask Wanda about that ahead of time. We drove to the Sea Grape Inn and brought some towels so it was not a problem for us. Beach was uncrowded and wonderful. This are does seem to have a lot of shells on the beach so if you want to do long walks I might recommend some shoes as opposed to going barefoot. Sunsets can be seen down by the water or even in the comfort of the screened in porch in Unit 1. 2 thumbs up!!

Enjoyed a very nice, relaxing stay at Sea Grape Inn condo #5 over Thanksgiving break! Complex is small with only 8 units, all with ocean views, very quiet and secluded, on Longboat Key. Location is great, convenient to St. Armand's Key for shops/restaurants and in close proximity to a grocery store (Publix) and several good restaurants. Had wonderful meals at Tripletail, Duval's, Speak's Clam Bar, and Lazy Lobster! Unit itself is nicely updated, with everything you need, and plenty of room for our family of 4. There is a small, nicely heated pool onsite which the kids enjoyed! The pool is immediately adjacent to the beach, which is always good, especially with kids in tow. There are complimentary loungers on the beach for guest use. The beach was not crowded at all as we almost always had the beach to ourselves during our trip! The water was cold but the shell hunting was fantastic! Our unit had some beach gear provided, included umbrellas and sand toys for the kids. The onsite manager, Wanda, was available to answer any questions prior to and during our visit and graciously provided us with an early check in. We highly recommend Sea Grape Inn and would definitely consider staying here again! P.S. Highly recommend a visit to the Mote Aquarium!

I've traveled extensively and have stayed in many hotels and inns. The Sea Grape was one of the very best. It is small, quiet, perfectly located on the beach and spotlessly clean. I stayed in unit 6 and was thrilled at how clean and charming it is. Adorably furnished without being cluttered. The kitchen was wonderful... everything worked! Good lighting (always an issue in other places it seems) and a great sound system are details that make this place special. Will re-book for sure and have encouraged family members to stay here.

My sister and I recently spent 4 fabulous nights at the Sea Grape Inn to celebrate my birthday together. We stayed in condo #5 which was absolutely gorgeous! The view from the screened in porch was SO beautiful! The beach and pool access were a stone’s throw from our condo. Wanda the property manager was so sweet and helpful. There are only 8 residences in this complex, so we always felt as if we were there alone. We did meet a few of the guests at the resort, and everyone was so kind and fun to talk to. The beach in front of the property was outstanding! We practically had the entire beach to ourselves every day we were there. The Inn was immaculate, and our unit was too! We felt very safe during these crazy Covid times. Longboat Key is beautiful, with many restaurants and shops close by. We loved our experience so much at the Sea Grape inn, that we have already booked our stay there again for 2022! I highly recommend staying at this incredible inn! You will NOT be disappointed!!

The Sea Grape Inn is a lovely condo complex of just 8 units located on the beautiful and private beach of Longboat Key. The condos are well appointed and comfortable (we have stayed in #1, #4 & #8 multiple times since March 2020). The pool is warm and inviting & most of the time our family are the only ones there. It feels like your very own get away in paradise. Wanda is the property manager and she will assist with any questions or concerns you might have during your stay. We have made the Sea Grape Inn a part of our annual vacation time. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoy our time here!

Quaint. Clean. Best ocean sunset view. Wanda, the property manager is fantastic. It’s easy to pass it by on the road without gps because the sign is small and set back. (The sign could use some freshening up but it is very authentic Florida). Kitchen is just right. We were in condo 1 with the best direct view of the dunes and ocean (the condo above it would have same view.) Small clean pool. Very quiet - hardly saw anyone else on property. Highly recommend if you like quiet, laid back, authentic Florida atmosphere.
