We had room 15, great view, modern updated unit. Granite counters, full kitchen, big spacious rooms. Walk in closet big enough to put t bed in. The closet was bigger than some hotel rooks i rented in Europe. Check in was smooth and easy. I was actually surprised how nice it was. Very quiet. Amazing sun sets. Nice water front,, Only a few yards from the water. Very clean.

Looks like an older property, but well maintained. Clean! & comfortable. Staff was warm & accommodating. Each interaction very pleasant. Rental was super clean & well appointed. I loved the view from the balcony! Stunning sunsets included! We rented the efficiency apartment. Updated rooms. Kitchen nicely equipped. Sandy gulf front sunning area & covered picnic tables available, swimming pool on property. Enjoyed watching the boats from the room/balcony. Wonderful view from both bedroom & living area. Good location with grocery & many restaurants in easy driving distance. Good wi-fi. We felt the unit offered all we could want for a wonderful vacation. Notes: Balcony is shared with other units & is also the way we accessed our room. The efficiency apartment we rented was upstairs (20) & no lift. Possible problem for older guests with knee/mobility issues. Parking is assigned and away from rental units, but you may park by your unit to load/unload. We were extremely pleased with our choice and would love to stay again.

We stayed at the Edgewater Lodge for one night. That name certainly describes the place, as you are right on the edge of the water. We were in room 5, which had two double (queen?) beds, a stove, small fridge, kitchen sink, in addition to TV and A/C. Might have been a microwave, too -- can't remember. There was a reserved parking spot for each room. The patio door opened onto a deck, which had a table and 2 high adirondack chairs. We had an umbrella on our table. We enjoyed watching all the activity outside, including the fish and the birds. The location of this place is between mile 65 and 66, right near a big bridge. It made a nice stopping place so you didn't have to push the miles to get elsewhere. We didn't use the pool, but we did utilize the large selection of beer in the small store there. The front desk guy made an extra effort to bring ice to our room. We would stay there again.

The hotel was humble and clean. We were able to dock our boat for a $20.00/ day fee. They had a bait store on the property. The pool was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and spoke English and Spanish. But the best part was that the deck attached to our room (#1) actually hung out over the water and our boat was 30 feet away from the room. We had a great view of the sunset from the comfortable chairs and though we shared the deck with rooms 2,3,&4. it felt private. the room was clean and had a microwave and a small refrigerator.

Sleep Quality
Room Tip: Rooms 1-4 and 5-8 are right on the water. Turning the A/C to "economy" let it run...
