Sadly we only spent one night. Our room was big with 2 queen beds. Terrace and ocean views were amazing! There is also a small beach at the property and a pool. Property is very nice and has a lot of coastal decor that adds nice touch.

Loved this place, nice clean rooms and very quiet, boat ramp and jet ski rentals on site, excellent fishing on private piers. Rooms right on the water. Staff was very friendly, will be staying here again. Definitely recommend

We are a family of 4 and this was the perfect place for us. Room was small and bathroom tiny, but the on-water balcony made up for it. The room had everything we needed. It was clean and fairly updated. The setting and view was amazing and our kids (2nd and 6th grades) loved playing in the water while we sat on the deck with a glass of wine. Reception staff were very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who wants affordable accommodation right on the water.

We have stayed at this motel before and rebooked since we were told the room we wanted would be updated this year. The larger units have been renovated but unfortunately this single room wasn’t. The location is wonderful, right on the Gulf side of A1A and just across the highway from the Atlantic Ocean. The best of both, with a deck from our room over the water. The days were spent in the sunshine, watching the fish and the birds. The motel is between Islamorada and Marathon so it is a pleasant drive for lunch or dinner. Our room was probably ok a few decades ago but now needs lots of work. The room is very dark, the TV so small it can’t be see well, tiny closets, very few drawers and rusty sliding doors with no screens. The air conditioner worked well but was so loud, you couldn’t hear anything else. The bathroom was tiny with hardly any shelves. The sink faucets were cracked and dripped. The tiny shower stall was dark with very little water pressure but the water did get hot. The beds were comfortable and the linens all clean. The whole room was well cleaned every day. There was a safe but it didn’t open. The breakfast is abysmal with packaged sweets, terrible coffee, semi-hot water for tea and some packaged cereals. When I asked for ice since the freezer section in my frig wasn’t working, I was told there was a charge. I doubt I would stay here again, at least in this room.

Room Tip: Ask if the room has been renovated. Ask for a room by the water with a deck.

The accommodation was huge - kitchen was really well equipped. Having balconies either side meant I never had to sit in the shade - it was December and chilly in the morning/evening. Surroundings were great, sat on piers watching the rays, shark, fish. Disliked · Oven knobs were broken, very difficult to turn timer off. Stairs to apartment, my partner carried suitcases up, but wouldn't be easy for less mobile guests. Nowhere to get food other than a small selection of confectionery.
