This is our 4th year in a row coming to Fiesta Key in our motorhome. We are older and experienced travelers and know a great resort from a good one. We have always viewed Fiesta Key as a great resort but have experienced a few not so good things this year. We love the location, views and cleanliness of the park. Most roads are paved and in good repair. We enjoy riding our e-bikes around the park every day. The 24/7 gated entrance with security is a great asset. Showers have been updated and are very clean. A fair amount of the RV spots are a little tight but through trial and error have found a spot that isn’t cramped. We have made great friends that we look forward to seeing every year & who we keep up with year round. It feels like a community and more than a resort. George, the activity director is fabulous! He schedules a variety of activities and events that are well attended! He is an above and beyond kind of guy who makes everyone feel welcome and included! If he ran the world it would be perfect! There is a gorgeous on site restaurant now with a professional chef who has developed a FANTASTIC menu! Food is delicious, a little pricey but not much worse than quality restaurants in the area! A great addition!
Downsides, NO CABLE or internet! For what we pay this is really disappointing. They offer a private pay internet but it is horrible and a waste of money. The pool is nice but super crowded; if you want to swim a few laps in the pool it is impossible. Our biggest disappointment this year is the lack of access into the gulf for swimming or snorkeling. Last year they took away the rope in the gulf denoting the swim area which proved a little dangerous with kayaks, paddle boards and jet skis coming into swim area to discharge pick up passengers. This year, the steps onto the gulf have been chained off. Very frustrating! The only way into the gulf is to climb over rocks and there is a sign that says stay off the rocks. Kids still climb on the rocks to access the gulf. Also, the resort doesn’t have anyone to pump propane this season! So disappointing for those of us staying 3 months or more with motor homes needing propane! No heads up about this prior to arrival! Lastly, the prices have increased pretty significantly every year. By far the most expensive of 90 percent of rv parks off Overseas hwy. We put a deposit down for next year but will wait to see if swim area/gulf access is secure & quality wifi included before we plunk down thousands more to come back. We have attempted to discuss our concerns with the new GM, but sadly he doesn’t ever seem to be available. We have always loved coming to Fiesta Key & are hopeful the running of the resort can return to the high standard most of us have come here in previous years to enjoy. Karen H.

This is my 2nd stay at Fiesta Key and it is by far my favorite resort! The staff are very welcoming and friendly and stay in touch daily by checking in via text as well as giving updates on events taking place. I’ve only stayed in the Elite waterfront cottages, but they’ve been clean and comfortable with the best views! The kitchens are minimally stocked, so if you will be doing your own cooking when you visit, you will want to bring your own supplies or grab them at a fairly nearby store before you come. Internet and cable are not included, but I had great phone service so those amenities were not needed. The pool as well as the “beach area” was clean with plenty of chairs and umbrellas and there’s a restaurant on site with live music often. For me, any minor inconveniences mentioned in the other reviews were far outweighed by the beautiful water views and gorgeous sunsets!

Our overall experience with our accommodations here was very terrible. We booked our trip over 5 months in advance to be put into the absolute worse cabins available. We were told we would be given a group discount, but at check in, they told us that was not true and they do not offer group discounts. We paid $567/night for a sub par experience. We were told we’d have very spacious cabins that were large enough to sleep 5, a mom, dad, and 3 young children. The cabins had no closets, dressers, or anywhere to unpack luggage, a tiny bed that’s hard as a rock, no cable tv, no wife, and to top it off we had very limited hot water. We literally had our luggage sprawled out on our couch and on the tiny table they had in the kitchen. The floors were very very dirty. My kid’s feet were black by time they got out of the shower to the time they got dressed. There are very very few pots, pans, cooking utensils, and dish towels. There is a coffee pot but they do not supply you with coffee pods you do have to bring your own. They do not supply you with pool towels. They were able to get us out of those cabins after a few nights and into something a little more updated. These were still very small and not meant to accommodate more than 2 adults. These do not have cable tv or internet either. The newer cabins have 2 queen beds in the loft where the ceiling is about 40 inches tall. You either have to crawl around up there or be hunched over walking around. The bar plays loud music until 10-11pm. The pool closes every night 30 minutes before sunset. The rates after New Year’s dropped by over $150/night while we were there. Our rates on our bill remained the same. They would not credit us. The view here is nice and they have a laundry mat on site. There was some staff that we encountered that were very friendly and some who acted like you were a bother. We are not campers but from what I saw the campsites are absolutely on top of each other. There were campers there that were 1-2 ft apart from each other. Overall if you are coming to the keys get yourself a vacation rental house. This place was $28,000 for 3 cabins with a boat slip for 2 weeks way too much for what you get. Do not expect too much from this place and you may be satisfied. Let’s not forget, if there are problems with anything then good luck because everything here is outsourced to a third party.

This is a nice campground that is kept well and you do not hear a lot of road traffic. It is located at a good location so that you can easily get to Marathon or Islamorada. The sites are nice and level and have crushed stone so that you are not dragging sand in and out of the camper. They have some entertainment and bands playing down on the beach are a lot of fun. Mostly an older crowd when we were there. The pool was cold and could have been heated to be warmer when we were there in January. The bathrooms need to be spruced up as it looks like they just put band aids on them. The work staff is great. Nice scamp store. Unfortunately this place is pricey, we would have liked to stay longer but our budget does not allow us to.

We were amazed that the photos didn’t even match the beautiful shores and structures! Everyone is so nice here, they have activities on the weekend that are fun for the adults and plenty for kids. The dog park area is great, totally turfed and easy on their feet with plenty of space for them to use up their energy and they feel like they are on vacation too. Christy sends out messages to your phone so you don’t miss out on anything! The security is 24 hours and you feel it with guards making the rounds to ensure everyone is safe and welcome. We are coming back soon with our granddaughter, we wanted family friendly but fun for all ages, definitely lived up to that!

When I booked the trip the cabins with kitchenettes showed beautiful blue and white rooms. For $400 a night it looked nice, and I really wanted to be on the same property as my kids who RV. Got there and the cabin I got, H18 was NOTHING like the pictures. First, we couldn't get in. Finally, after calling maintenance, my daughter was able to hit it with her shoulder hard enough to get it to open. Got in and was completely disappointed. Dark, dingy, and old. Could not get the TV to work. My cell phone barely had a signal, so I couldn't a hot spot to use my laptop. Went to the office the next day and was informed they didn't provide cable, and I would need to get a HMDI cable to attach to my computer which didn't work. While I understand they may not provide cable or internet for the RV sites, you would think at $400 a night they would for their cabins. I paid for 4 nights but left after 3 and got a room at the Hilton Garden Inn for $200. I could have stayed at a Hyatt with a beautiful beach and all the amenities for what I paid for this crappy cabin. I had planned on buying their annual membership so I could follow with my kids to certain places, but after this, no way.

Room lacked attention in regards of supplied necessities, didn’t supply toilet paper or changed the towels. We stayed for 8 days and left earlier. Staff is always friendly, food was good and rinks too but felt as if I was buying juice instead of drinks.

As for the Keys they have really taken a turn for the worst. I was so disappointed in the poor state of the KEYS. It feels like we were in Myrtle Beach. Dirty and everything was over priced. We booked 8 days at Fiesta key RV resort. Let start by saying the staff were amazing and my issues were addressed with genuine concern, professionalism and urgency to correct the problem. The resort was clean and the utilities worked fine. Staff worked very hard maintaining the property. The rules are well established and each guest gets a copy. My issue with the resort the sites are too close to each other. Neighbors awnings nearly touch slides, so saying quiet time hours are a necessity is an understatement. Rules are quite time 10p , kids in their sites and no driving carts at night. This was ignored by several rivers that were partying until 3am. Loud music and teens driving golf carts all night blasting music. I requested Security 3 times to keep the peace including confronting 20 plus underage alcohol consumption teens and adults to keep the noise down so we could sleep. The party raged on despite Security requests. So be assured you are on your own after business hours. I recorded the collamaty and showed the staff the next day. Christy was hugely appauligetic and addressed the issue with the party groups. She even offered to move us toanother site. The next night was peaceful and enjoyable This would be a perfect place to stay, if the sites were spread out and Security had authority to evict those who violate the rules. Fiesta Key Resort call me when you turn the resort into 55 and above and spread out the sites.

Fiesta Key Dows have self-serve paddle board rental. But new this year, they have a waterspouts rental company that will bring to the RV park the Watersport equipment of your choice. This is a very nice amenity to add to the offerings.

Full hook ups. Everything in the Keys, sightseeing wise, has to do with driving. I always say that everything is 15 miles away, as you have to go from one Key to another.

You can go to the turtle hospital. Also the pool and beach are awesome. There is Robbies where they can feed the tarpons. It is a tourist place but still fun.
There are more places to choose from in the Long Key area.
