Stayed at the Village and camped with Paddle Florida. The Village provided us with dinner and it was delicious. They are always very helpful and pleasant. A very peaceful place. With view and a beach on the Suwannee River.

This is a wonderful and peaceful place. The room was extremely clean and well decorated it. It has a homey feeling. The village has many good things like the restaurant which offers a great variety of food. small boutiques and even a market. All staff is courteous, respectful and just wonderful.

I spent two nights at the Lodge and enjoyed every minute of the time spent there. The room was clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable. The peace and quiet was just what I needed at this time. Everyone was so friendly and I especially enjoyed the tour with Jackie Campbell. My face hurt from laughing at her and with...

I spent 3 nights at The Lodge and enjoyed it immensely. The front staff was friendly, the folks who cleaned the room did a great job, and the coffee was Maxwell House. The bed with its four pillows of varying softness was very comfortable. A special feature was the very comfy recliner, too. Wi-Fi was free and very easy to...

My husband and I spend the weekend in the lodge while visiting his grandmother. I thought the community was wonderful. The room was definitely not up to our expectations. There were bugs in the coffee basket, cob webs everywhere and hair in the shower that was not mine. The beds were like sleeping on a trampoline. In the future we...

Very affordable and comfortable. The community at the Advent Christian Village is very relaxed and easy paced. If you are looking for excitement, this may not be the right spot for you. But, if you are looking for a quiet getaway from it all, you will enjoy a visit here.

The Lodge overlooks the Suwannee River. The location is picturesque Old Florida, quiet, peaceful. The rooms are on the second floor, shops on ground level. There is an elevator and plenty of rocking chairs on the covered porch to watch the Suwannee go by. Rooms are clean and most have been upgraded. Microwaves, fridge, coffee pots, iron, etc. This is...

“Ask for an upgraded room on the riverside. If you want microwave & fridge, ask for deluxe rooms.”

“The lodge is upgrading the rooms on a non-interference basis. Non-upgraded have older, noisier a/c units and fixtures. New stuff is well designed and quieter but might still be in the activation/shakedown stage. Try to get one of the upgraded rooms.”
