Ronny the manager & his family are warm great friendly people and go out of there way to make your stay extra special the place is updated and clean we really enjoyed our stay on the beach and look forward to coming back dont look at other resorts just book here you will be glad you did
Spent 3 nights here earlier in the month. Rented the only available room, a bedroom suite. The room served its purpose. Refrigerator, safe, sitting table w/chairs, TV. Two chairs on the shared patio/walkway. Beautiful view of the ocean/pool from every room. The Pool was heated. Plenty of lounge chairs surrounding pool area, and facing the seagrass buffer to the beach. Beach chairs were available at the front desk. The photos on the website depict the property perfectly. Loved the location. Two doors down is a hotel with an ocean front bar which also serves light lunches/appys. Easy walk to Publix, CVS, DD. And just as easy a walk into the heart of LBTS. Extra bonus is the 24 hour coffee room. Especially surprised to find some fruit and Danish there each morning. We have stayed at 2 other places at LBTS, Tropic Seas is by far our favorite. We will be back. A special shout out to Ronnie, who does a fabulous job keeping this place running so well. See you next time!…
My husband and I brought 4 generations of our family to the Tropic Seas for a week in November and had a wonderful time! Amy and Ron were great hosts and Resort was very clean and grounds kept beautifully! 2nd floor rooms have awesome ocean views! Tropic Seas is within walking distance of grocery store, CVS, and many restaurants. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem!
This is my 2nd visit this year and it would be my 10th if I had my way. Tropic Seas is a boutique hotel that is about as good as it gets - from the clean cozy rooms to the beautiful ocean views each suite offers to the stone’s throw distance to the soft, quiet beach. Oh - and the staff- Ronnie and Emmie and crew who make you feel like family! It is a short, enjoyable walk to the charming center of town with fun restaurants, bars, shopping… and gelato!! This is a family owned piece of paradise where you can feel the love and enjoy the peace and beauty of the ocean!
We had a great time at oceanfront property. We spent a few days. The staff was accommodating and the views were spectacular. There is free parking and the property is on the water just steps away. The room was clean and the bathroom was fine.
Clean small 2 level motel on the beach with a private pool. They have a 24 hr. coffee and tea room, provide beach towels, and are close to restaurants. Emy who checked us in was very friendly and gave us good suggestions on places to go for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Just finished my second visit to Tropic Seas Resort. Can't say enough about the staff - so courteous; the location - a close walk to restaurants and entertainment; and the view - stunning. Will keep returning!
We stayed at tropic sea resort in June 2021. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were clean. The grounds, including the pool, were beautifully kept. We literally opened the door and it was steps to the beach. It is a short walk to grocery store and a cute boardwalk with shops and restaurants. This would be a great place to bring your family or go with friends.
We loved our stay! I must admit I was a chain hotel girl. My experience at TSR definitely changed that. This small motel is located in a safe, small, quaint beach town, maybe the Mayberry of beach towns. It is a budget friendly, motel of the past, lovingly restored. It only has a few rooms (maybe 22 total) we stayed in 101 which overlooked the beach on the bottom level. Our room had a bedroom (2 fulls/tv), updated bathroom (shower) and living room/kitchen. Every room is steps from the pool and steps from the ocean. They have a little area to make coffee or borrow a book. They have tons of beach chairs, pool noodles, boogie boards, etc to borrow. There are loungers all over the property. The grounds are beautiful maintained and very green, probably the best looking grounds of the surrounding motels. Our room was very clean. The other guests were very friendly, there is free/close parking, nearby grocery, restaurants and shops. There are many similar “boutique “ motels in the area. I recommend this for families in search of a quiet/safe atmosphere, girls trips, couples over 40. We just thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality and will not hesitate to come back.…
Wife and I just spent 2 weeks at TSR for our annual visit. As always a great time! You would think after almost 20 years we would tire of one place. "NOT". You cannot beat the location, views, cost and access to local amenities. Our room was recently upgraded with a new fridge/freezer, new marble tiled bathroom floor, walls and walk in shower. Not to mention new bathroom sink. Most important to us is the way the staff is always willing to help and make you feel like family. Whether it is the front desk (Ron), housekeeping (Emy) , even maintenance. Everyone goes out of their way with courteous and efficient service. Any wonder why we keep coming back. Already looking forward and planning 2022'. God Willing.
