Amazing and prompt customer service, beautiful views, astounding location. The workers here are beyond wonderful! I feel like most places you go now are not able to clean your room every day, but the awesome workers here do. They are so kind and helpful. The pool is also clean and also heated in the Winter for the days in FL that aren’t so hot. Each room comes with a beach bag and towels and there’s a coffee maker with some snacks on the first floor. I have come here for a few years and have never had a bad experience at this quaint little beach resort. Walking distance from several stores and restaurants! I give an honest and excellent 5/5 star review!

Tropic Seas is a rare find...a refreshing option to larger resorts, this boutique hotel offers intimate tranquility and the most beautiful view of the ocean, which is mere steps from any of their clean and comfortable suites.
We had the best time imaginable at the Tropic Seas during our girls trip! The only thing more perfect than the accommodations was the gracious staff who went above and beyond to take care of their guests!
We loved that we could easily walk to the grocery store, or to an abundant selection of restaurants, quaint shops or beach bars! Lauderdale by the Sea is a charming place!
I can’t say enough about the Tropic Seas. Once you go once you will certainly want to return! We all booked our next trip before we left. If you leave without feeling relaxed and rejuvenated it’s your own fault!😉

This is my 2nd visit this year and it would be my 10th if I had my way.
Tropic Seas is a boutique hotel that is about as good as it gets - from the clean cozy rooms to the beautiful ocean views each suite offers to the stone’s throw distance to the soft, quiet beach. Oh - and the staff- Ronnie and Emmie and crew who make you feel like family!
It is a short, enjoyable walk to the charming center of town with fun restaurants, bars, shopping… and gelato!!
This is a family owned piece of paradise where you can feel the love and enjoy the peace and beauty of the ocean!

Tropic Seas Resort is one of the best places to stay when visiting Florida! With a very short commute from the airport about 20 minutes we found a home away from home. This place is perfectly located right in Lauderdale by the Sea. Within walking distance of at most 5 minutes you have access to multiple coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store, jets rentals and multiple bike and moped rentals. It has a direct entrance from the property right to the beach as well as a pool too. Rooms are fantastic and all rooms have access to the outside facing the beach making for an amazing sunrise and fantastic view. Some rooms offer a small kitchen which made it easy to cook our own meals as well as the gas grill in the pool area which is available to use! The people who work there were very nice, humorous and easy to converse with. They are very helpful and directing, because I have never been to this area before. All other guests staying there were very nice and not to loud which made for an amazing and relaxing experience to soak up the warmth and sun. This place is an absolute MUST on a place you have to stay at when you visit Fort Lauderdale!!

We loved our stay! I must admit I was a chain hotel girl. My experience at TSR definitely changed that. This small motel is located in a safe, small, quaint beach town, maybe the Mayberry of beach towns. It is a budget friendly, motel of the past, lovingly restored. It only has a few rooms (maybe 22 total) we stayed in 101 which overlooked the beach on the bottom level. Our room had a bedroom (2 fulls/tv), updated bathroom (shower) and living room/kitchen. Every room is steps from the pool and steps from the ocean. They have a little area to make coffee or borrow a book. They have tons of beach chairs, pool noodles, boogie boards, etc to borrow. There are loungers all over the property. The grounds are beautiful maintained and very green, probably the best looking grounds of the surrounding motels. Our room was very clean. The other guests were very friendly, there is free/close parking, nearby grocery, restaurants and shops. There are many similar “boutique “ motels in the area. I recommend this for families in search of a quiet/safe atmosphere, girls trips, couples over 40. We just thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality and will not hesitate to come back.

Although we have been down several times this was the best ever!!!!! We organized a reunion with 6 other couples that live scattered around the midwest and this certainly fit the bill! Our friends now understand why we love this secret gem! We all had our private living spaces including kitchens, yet also had beautiful open spaces in which to gather. The rooms are spacious and the views from each spectacular from sunrise to sundown and directly on the beach! We were also very impressed with the gorgeous new bathrooms, very clean and sleek! Emy and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome and safe during these times, ensuring that everything was thoroughly cleaned. None of us needed to rent a car as there is a Publix, CVS, First Watch ,and Duncan Doughnuts around the corner as well as a hip downtown area with several bars and restaurants within waling distance . After a perfect week we have all decided this is an annual must! Can't wait until the next time!

This was a perfect location! The service was amazing as well! From wonderful front desk mangers to very friendly housekeeping staff. This resort is within walking distance of different coffee shops, grocery stores, and many many beach side restaurants. The pool area is very well maintained and everyone that was here was very sociable. We loved having access to a gas grill! It made everything so much easier to cook dinner with. We were able to cook dinner right by the pool and then enjoy it on the pool deck. Everything was very Covid safe and constantly being cleaned! If you are looking for somewhere to stay, look no further! This was one amazing place for our vacation.

This resort was amazing! The resort is well kept and cozy and offers amazing views and direct beach access. Our room was perfect for what we needed with a sweet little kitchen area to cook breakfast and store our favorite beverages. The pool was crystal clear every day and the sunrise is breathtaking!

A must stay for anyone looking for helpful and kind staff, clean and spacious rooms, and beautiful beachfront views! The suites are complete with a kitchenette and breakfast nook, and has everything you could need while on vacation. I will most definitely be back!

Wife and I just spent 2 weeks at TSR for our annual visit. As always a great time! You would think after almost 20 years we would tire of one place. "NOT". You cannot beat the location, views, cost and access to local amenities. Our room was recently upgraded with a new fridge/freezer, new marble tiled bathroom floor, walls and walk in shower. Not to mention new bathroom sink. Most important to us is the way the staff is always willing to help and make you feel like family. Whether it is the front desk (Ron), housekeeping (Emy) , even maintenance. Everyone goes out of their way with courteous and efficient service. Any wonder why we keep coming back. Already looking forward and planning 2022'. God Willing.
