The most beautifully family oriented place I've ever stayed. The best part is the management and staff. They couldn't be bragged on more if I used every positive word in the dictionary. This resort will be our place of choice from now on when we visit the area. May God bless them all with many years to stay open.
We only spent one night here on our way to another location. It seemed like a decent overnight stop and the price was right. The staff we encountered were extremely friendly and informative. The decor of the lobby seems relatively new. Breakfast is served here in the morning. They are currently asking for one member of your party to pick up the food and bring it back to the room, if this is possible. As we were heading toward our room, I could see that calling it a resort may be going a little further than it should. When I think "resort", I think of a property that is a little grander. The best I can call this is a Boutique Motel with some unique amenities. It is definitely geared towards families with young children. The pool was small and crowded but everyone looked like they were having a good time. The play area is fantastic if you have very young family members. The games area is great for older children. Not all of these are currently available due to circumstances. There were plenty of places to sit and relax as adults. An early quiet time is encouraged at this family-oriented motel. The room itself resembled more of a small hotel room than a motel room. The floor was all hard surface, there was a fridge. All appeared clean. One interesting point is that this resort is faith based. Affirmations of family and God are posted on placards throughout the facility. It's a little unusual but sweet in a quirky way from my POV, however, not everyone may feel the same way. For the price we paid, we were impressed. It wasn't quite right for our family but if you have little ones it could be great. Just keep your expectations on the low side as calling this a "resort" set my expectations a little too high. Think "Boutique Motel that is incredibly affordable with a decent roof over our heads and a place for my kids to play while I take a break" and you may find yourself more satisfied.…
Rafael in the front was rude from the start. Finally got to our room and started to get settled, the sink piping wasnt even connected. Went to use the sink and flooded the floor. Called the front desk and once again rafael was very rude. We asked for somebody to come Fix the sink and bring towels to replace ours we had to use for the flood. We were told we cant get more towels to shower until we bring the SOAKED ones down to exchange. So we couldnt even shower and continue getting ready for our evening plans after waiting forever, Missing our $200 reservations, i went the front desk to ask them to just give us a different room so we could atleast try to do something rather then to continue to wait for maintenance. Once again, so rude and so much attitude. Finally were given the keys. Room was smaller. Gave up trying to fight with this guy, and just try to enjoy the two hours we had left to find a place to eat. Went to shower in the new room, and there was hair in the shower. Stains on the sheets, and the body was bottle was dispensing rust. I have NEVER had a worse experience in cleanliness and hospitality in my life. Never got to use the pool or kids area due to losing out in so much time. Missed out dinner reservations and by the time we were able to go to the park we had spent money on for tickets, it was closed. Regret trying to come here and ruined our entire weekend vacation. And cant even get refunded or a friendly voice when needing to call the desk.…
We have never stayed at this resort before and my wife found it through Expedia.com. It was the three of us for a weekend in Orlando to visit Aquatica and SeaWorld. This was an older hotel but it had tons of renovations done to it. And it was really nice. From the outside with painted signs encouraging thoughts about family, to the all new door locks. They used artificial grass throughout the resort. Even had small pieces outside each room to help keep from tracking dirt inside. The rooms were nicely done. From the stone looking floor planks, to the new beds and decor. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. They also had a Kuereg coffee maker, so if you go bring your own individual samples if you have a preference other then their regular or decaf cups. I really liked the little touch of the nightstand that had a soft nightlight that was lit upon our arrival. It was fairly quiet considering we had a youth football team staying there. And they had a couple of play areas for younger kids, that was closer right now due to the pandemic. But it looked like they had video game areas and a small area for soccer. The pool was plenty big enough. We also liked the exit area as gates fence to help keep non-hotel goers out. They provided a continental breakfast. And with the pandemic they had it boxed and ready to take back to your room. The staff was really nice and helpful throughout our stay. Even saw the owner/manager over at the Olive Garden on our Saturday night meal. He was eating with his family, but recognized us and made sure everything was going well with our stay. That was nice of him to go out of his way. We will go back again. It is a nice place to stay and we love staying in that area. Also it is close to the back route to SeaWorld. Keeps us off I-4, which is always a plus. Definitely would recommend this hotel for a couple or family. Just wish I had taken photos to share. Thanks Magic Moments. We will be back. …
