The pool was always clean and family friendly. The staff was very helpful and exceeded expectations. The neighbors and the overall community were all very kind. It was a great location. Before choosing to stay here for a year, I was concerned with some of the previous reviews. However, since the renovation they have addressed all of the issues. I highly recommend this location for any local students and families.
I travel full-time in my RV and stayed at Mill Creek for 3 months. Left because it was time to head north. What stood out the most from my experience was the management and staff working at the park. They were extremely friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The facilities and grounds were regularly tended too (with care), and I observed several upgrades in my time there. For the RV enthusiast, I saw a lot of really cool rigs (restored vintage, modern, etc.) coming through. For a family who wants easy access to Disney, Universal, and other attractions at an affordable price, this is particularly a great park.
We travel full time in our RV and got lucky enough to score a spot here! This park is beautiful, clean, and the manager Tom and the beautiful woman in the office, Suzanne, are what made the stay even better. So accommodating, kind, and friendly. So much to do even if you just stay in the park. Cleanest laundry rooms I've seen in a long time. This park caters to long-term residents, so there is a big sense of community here. Really enjoyed it here. The staff is always smiling and goes out of their way to say hello, ask if everything is ok and very helpful. Great value for the area.
I will give it 2 stars, clean bathhouses and a nice pool. It is a strange hodge podge of travel trailers, motorhomes, single wide mobile homes, some fairly new and some old and dilapidated. Narrow roads which make it difficult to get your travel trailer parked. Front desk staff are rude, we were to be in the same area as our friends, turns out that space wasn’t available, person in our assigned space decided not to move or so the rude front desk person told us, so we ended up at the other end of the park. We had a cement pad but no trees or shade whatsoever.
I came in looking for a long term space for me and my family. Park Manager was clueless of what was going on and the male worker next to her was rude and obnoxious. I asked for information of the park and she told me that the girl that works in the office is not there can I come back at a later time. I grabbed some of the flyers they had on the wall and the male worker told me just wait in a entitle tone.If you are the manager you should know what is going on on your park.Is this your customer service? My wife called on a later time to ask questions and we recognize the woman voice it was the manager once again telling us we will get a call later with the information. This place is a joke!
We are inexperienced campers with a small travel trailer. Got a good deal on a month's stay through Ricky at SunResorts (great guy, by the way). The park is clean, lots of beautiful trees and streets are in good shape. Close to everything. We would have liked to be near trees (there are some really lovely shady spots near the creek) but being close to the pool and showers worked out well for us. The showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities were well maintained and clean. Staff (Hi Kenneth!) was very hard at work all the time and did everything from mowing, trash pickup, propane tank fills and connections, vehicle washing. Long-term residents and short term visitors had nothing but nice things to say about the maintenance staff. Lots of dogs, well behaved. Nice place to walk every morning and evening. This is an older park, and we felt safe in our little spot (thanks to our neighbor - Hi again, Kenneth!). We hear improvements are in progress, cement pad for all spots coming soon. Our spot was small, but the price was good. Only complaint was that, being so close to the club house, we had to deal with loud music on the weekends (thankfully, our air conditioner muffled most of the sound). We asked some seasoned visitors how the park compared to others they've stayed at; they said it was nice enough, and quieter than most. We liked it, and would recommend the park to everyone.…
My son and I spend just under a year here. It started out that the spot we came down for had an Exterminator Truck parked with the neighbor on the next site and the only site they had was behind the pool. During this time of year it is very rainey and we had no idea that we were to be in the direct sun, I can't lie in 100 degree heat in my travel trailer and the air conditioner didn't help. Told them if they couldn't find me a spot under trees that we were out of there. They had a park person move my tt and he managed to damage the side by skimming a 6 inch patch on my side wall with a tree. At the time of this move we were not informed that it was a temp spot. Then we found a really nice spot across the creek which we were told would flood occassionally, it became a river and if you were stuck on that side of the creek you and your cars were stuck for days... It poured for months on and off, thank God we told them after the flooding we were not going across and to find us another treed spot. So for the third time we were to move into a spot that, when the trees were fully leaved would give us the shade we needed. NO WAY!. We had to wrap our tt to keep the damaging afternoon sun off as much as possible and also reinforce the slide with sterifoam for the heat. So we had planned to leave the end of this month knowing that that the management here will tell you anything...…
We reserved our site w/ Mill Creek 2 days prior to our arrival. We confirmed the site would handle a 35' 5th Wheel and was a pull thru. We were only passing thru and knew we were driving a long day and had to leave early the next day, so did not want to unhook. We were told that we would receive a confirmation via email. I had made the reservation at 11 am and by 4:30 I still had not received confirmation so I called again. I got voicemail and left a message. The next morning I still did not have confirmation so called again and was told Yes we were confirmed, and yes it was a pull thru for a 35' 5th Wheel. By the day of our arrival, still no confirmation so called again. Again I was confirmed it was a pull thru for a 35' 5th wheel. We arrived after hours as planned and found our registration. They put us in a BACK IN site. The site was extremely narrow and had a large hole in the area where you back in. To make matters worse, the front of the site had a broken slab of concrete that stuck up, making it difficult to back in without scraping it with the underside of the rig/truck. We called the after hours number and were told that the manager would be right over to our site to help. A lady and her husband pull up in a golf cart and when we explain the situation she tells us that reservations go to a call center and they don't know the campground, and she is left to deal with the issues. We should not have been told they had a pull thru site for us, because in fact, they only have 5 pull thru sites and they weren't available! Upon further discussion she starts telling me about how it is only her and 1 girl in the office and when I press her I find out it was her and her 1 girl that took my reservations! I spoke to her staff the first two times and her the 3rd times. She was trying to blame someone else when it was her!! She knew it was her! Furthermore, when I showed them the big hole in the space and the large cracked concrete and expressed my worry about not wanting to damage our new tires, rig, or truck, her husband responded that if I wanted a perfect site I could go up to Fort Walton Beach and pay $3,000 and night, this is Kissimmee! (BTW, we already had reservations for Fort Walton and $3K a night is a bit of an exaggeration!). We kept pushing them for another site we were given the option of taking a pull site they had suddenly remembered. As we were riding to look at the pull thru site, the manager changed her story and said that her assistant had assigned us this pull thru and that is why she told us on the phone we had a pull thru site. The Pull thru site was skinnier that the one we were assigned and had trees on the lot so we couldn't get into that one either. Leaving us no choice we took the backed in. We are experienced RVer's and it took us 2 hours to back into that site, one inch at a time! This site was just that bad. Plus we had to unhook. The other trailers were packed in like cattle. Most of the other rigs were smaller and they seemed to be fine. Overall, the fact that the lady lied to us, tried to blame someone else, and her husband's snarky comment gets them 1 star! If your rig is any bigger than 25' stay away from this place!…
This is an older park with lots of permanent residents and snowbirds. We stayed four nights to visit with family at Disney. Staff is friendly and helpful - pet friendly - rates are reasonable - park is quiet and clean - great location for shopping / restaurants - quick access to Disney. Will recommend to family and friends - will stay there again.
During our stay, the park could be described as a 55+ park. There was a hand full of young children that were occasionally seen and rarely heard. There still are a lot of permanent residents. Pros; Very easy access from the Turnpike. A very friendly group of snowbirds. The pool was the most comfortable and relaxing that we have experienced in Florida. Most days there were less than 8 people using the pool, several days we had the pool to ourselves. There is a nearby dog park if your dog needs some exercise. Cons; We live near a railroad, so the whistles from the nearby trains did not bother us. However, the 5 am wake up calls as the permanents left for work were rude. A section of the park has a dense tree canopy, satellite TV reception at some sites is impossible. Cable TV is only available for long term guests, a Spectrum account is necessary. WiFi at our site was intermittent. An external amplified antennae provided a consistent and fast connection. The park was making improvements during our stay and more are planed. Your impression of the park will depend on your expectations and the site.…
