We absolutely love this hotel. The staff and breakfast can't be beat. Love love love that the heated pool and hot tub is open 24 hours. The location right by Old Town is amazing, best view around. We stayed on the 7th floor and could see everything - right down to the hot air balloon at Disney Springs and all the area fireworks. The staff is very accommodating. I miss this hotel every time I leave. The only complaint I have is the elevators - they are getting old and are so slow!

Third visit to Florida having previously stayed in the Lake Buena Vista area we decided on Kissimmee as a great value location and we were not wrong - the hotel has been recently updated and we couldn’t fault it; nice well kept and modern pool area; inclusive breakfast with a reasonable choice daily; clean rooms; ‘Old Town’ entertainment area with ‘‘Fun Spot’ amusements is a 2 minute walk away which the kids loved; free parking; 5 mins to Disney; 20 mins to Universal area. Plentiful restaurants and shops within a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend.

I made a special request for a particular room when I made my reservation. They granted my wish! The hotel is a Disney Good Neighbor hotel which means they can sell multi-day tickets to you. They have a little Disney info station in the lobby. They do offer shuttles to the Disney and Universal Parks. I believe it is another company... not the hotel shuttle. This hotel itself is an easy drive to Disney if you want to drive yourself. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower great. Breakfast here was really nice.... they even had some Mickey waffles made for us! I read this on Trip Advisor and wanted to share it again because it helped us .... if you have a room on the 7th floor facing the parking lot, you can see the Disney fireworks out your window. That is not near as magical as seeing them at Disney but it is still fun if you like to see fireworks. This hotel does not charge resort fees according to their website and parking here is free. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes! Would I stay again? Absolutely!

Overall, the hotel was clean, including our room and the bathroom. However, our room had a stale/old food smell to it and there was a big stain on the floor. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced.
The breakfast buffet, though, was really good. There were at least five hot items that were continually refreshed and eggs/meat were always available, as were fruit, cereal, pastries, and yogurt. The coffee/tea/hot chocolate were available in the evening, too. I did also use the guest services desk to purchase my Disney tickets; the employee was extremely helpful and even advised me on how to connect the tickets to the Disney app and how to obtain fast passes.
But I, too, like a previous reviewer was shocked to find the pool closed upon arrival. I booked the hotel months ago because of its location to Disney, but mostly because of its promised heated pool and pool bar. But, at check-in on Jan. 16, all thoughts of relaxing at the pool disappeared. At the front desk, I noticed a letter and was also handed a copy dated Jan. 3, saying that the pool would be closed for two weeks beginning Jan. 6. I thought I must have missed something, so I reviewed the email sent from the hotel on Jan. 11, but no mention of the pool being closed. So, I checked the website, but still found nothing about the pool being closed. While the pool at the other hotel was made available, it was not in a location you’d want to walk to with kids at night and we were never offered a ride.
I am disappointed in the lack of communication. I just wish I had been notified prior to arrival; I would have booked another Choice hotel. Even if we had been advised that we could cancel upon arrival, which we were not, no one wants to locate a new hotel after a long day of flying and getting in from the airport after dark.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights prior to driving to Ft. Lauderdale for a 2 week cruise. We've been to this area many times before and found this gem after tons of research. Since we only needed 2 nights, a hotel was our best choice over a week-long condo rental. Our suite was spacious, well-appointed, and close to Disney, Old Town, and other 192 attractions. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. It included hot items served by attendants and about every item you could think of for breakfast like eggs, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal, Mickey Mouse waffles, grits, pastry, bagels, assorted beverages, and much more. This hotel does have a free shuttle to the parks although we did not use it. When you book, you might want to request floor 6 or 7 with a front view so as to watch the Disney fireworks in the evening from your room. Again, after reviewing many, many hotels in the area, we found this place to be just perfect for the money.

We’d never stayed in this area before, having stayed in the Lake Buena Vista area previously. It was convenient for the airport and close to Disney.
We were agreeably surprised by this hotel. Our room was large and well equipped with a very comfortable bed, a sofa, table and chairs, microwave and fridge, plus a large TV.
The bathroom was great, too, with a huge vanity area and plenty of lovely white fluffy towels. The hairdryer on the wall had a built in nightlight which was a really useful feature. The shower over the bath worked well.
The seating area was comfortable and the little kitchen area was sufficient to heat something in the microwave or store items in the fridge. There were no plates etc.
One thing which we Brits would have appreciated is a kettle so we could make tea. It’s not nice with water from a coffee maker nor is it good heating water in a microwave.
Maybe the hotel could keep a few kettles for their British guests to borrow?
One thing which was really surprising was the number of USB ports in the room. They were even in the bases of the table lamps. This was absolutely brilliant and a great addition these days.
The breakfast area was large but absolutely packed when we went down. There was a good range of items available, including scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon. Cereals were the usual high sugar ones which we don't eat. There was fresh fruit, apples, bananas and oranges, and the usual high sugar pastries.
A lady was making Mickey waffles, which people seemed to be enjoying, but these are way too high in sugar for us.
It was concerning to see so much plastic being used and thrown away, plates, cups, cutlery. Unfortunately this seems common in hotels but cutting down on plastic must happen soon if we are not to continue polluting our world.
For a free breakfast it was a very comprehensive affair, and very well stocked. A young man working there (didn’t catch his name) was really helpful and polite so many thanks to him.
Internet worked well in our room.
There is a lovely pool area outside, which we didn’t have time to use, unfortunately, and there was an outside bar area too.
There is also a business room with computers and photocopier.
There is a huge car park, and opposite is an amusement park. It’s close to Old Town too, as well as being close to the Disney parks.
We had a very enjoyable stay. They have done a very good job of their renovations, and we would be happy to return. It was spotlessly clean and provided great accommodation and a very acceptable breakfast.

Just back from a very disappointing stay at this hotel.On check in for 10 people, 5 couples 1 who was my daughter who had JUST got married, we were told sorry but we have to inform you there is no pool!! We weren't in a position to leave as 2 of the couples had paid up front for the room and if the rest of us cancelled we would lose our money also. We booked this hotel for two reasons 1. Location and 2 The Pool. Location was good the rest was a disaster. After an argument at the counter they gave each room $50 to spend in the bar....2 minutes later they tried to change it to $25...we did not want money we wanted a pool. We should have been informed and then we could have changed hotels.Thank you Comfort Suites for ruining a much planned wedding vacation we will not be staying there again and i will not be recommending them or there front desk staff to anyone!

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment of the pool being closed, as emergency repairs were needed requiring to us to shut it down. We were able to secure the use of our neighboring hotel's pool, Seralago. located less then a half mile from us. We were able to offer complimentary transportation to and from their pool on demand. Under the circumstances, there would not have been an issue in cancelling your reservations without penalty, upon your request. I am sorry for the confusion of the bar credit, as the offer was for $25.00 per couple per room or $50.00 per family of 3 or more per room. I do hope you will consider staying with us again, to provide you with the service and accommodations we have become known for, and to enjoy our completely renovated pool.

we stayed for 8 nights in February, arriving at Presidents weekend so busy. Always plenty of parking, the lobby and reception always clean and quiet. The room are big compared to Disney resorts, 2 big double beds, plenty of space all around, big wardrobes with a safe, and a separate area with a sofa and table and chairs, a sink area with coffee maker and microwave. No dishes etc. at all, just paper and plastic cups. A big bathroom. We faced old town with its rides so we worried about noise but you could hardly hear anything. The breakfast was good, fresh and tinned fruit, 5 cereals, bread for toasting, bagels, pastries and muffins, waffles and mickey waffles. The hot food selection changed each day, Sundays they had lovely crispy bacon and omelettes, other days they would have sausage patties, Canadian bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, the fried eggs looked a bit rubbery, I didn't try one, and beans. For a 'free breakfast' I thought it was very good. The only down side was polystyrene plates and bowls and non recyclable plastic cutlery. No sign of any recycling effort at all in the dining area. The pool area looked nice, you could eat outside if you wanted. We never went in the shop or games room. We travelled with Virgin holidays from the UK but this hotel is not listed for next year, shame we would have liked to stay again. Very easy access to the Disney parks, we drove our self, we have stayed further away before and sat in traffic but no problems here.

We spent a week visiting WDW in January 2020. We chose this hotel as we have learned over the years that it is not worth spending too much on your hotel as you are out and about so don't have time to enjoy it. Therefore we usually go for basic hotels.
A little bit off putting was the smell of food in the lobby area from the morning breakfast but this was a minor thing. Our room had everything we needed. King size bed, huge television, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, seating area, room safe, bathroom with bath and shower.
The breakfast was useful as it meant we could have something to eat before heading off to Disney. I am a coeliac (gluten free) and don't eat meat, but I could have fruit and yoghurt, there were eggs, coffee and fruit juice. Partner was able to have waffles and bacon etc. We have been travelling to the US from the UK for over 20 years and currently exchange rate isn't great so being able to have breakfast before setting off saves time and a few pounds.
Hotel is only about 15 minutes from any of the Disney Parks and the route is straightforward. Car park is ample, we didn't struggle to get parked. Hotel has a pool but we didn't use it. There are various shops and restaurants nearby.
We didn't experience any noise to disturb our sleep. It isn't "the Ritz" but gave us everything we needed.

Always look forward to our stay at Comfort Suites Maingate East. The hotel grounds and building are very well maintained. The parking lot is clean and well lit. The opposite side of the hotel has a beautiful pool and hot tub areas which are so inviting and relaxing. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, even giving us a requested view of the Old Town shopping area. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were thankful that COVID restrictions and sanitation procedures were in place. Guests were requested to wear masks, and many hand sanitizing stations were available. Due to precautions, the breakfast was rather limited compared to previous visits, but, just trying to keep us safe and healthy.
