Positive experience. Only negative was that some amenities were closed. It’s like paying $10 for a Big Mac Combo that comes with fries and a drink, and not receiving the drink. But still having to pay the $10.... but other than that, it was very close to disney and universal.
Have stayed several times. First time ended up with fire ant bites figured meh its Florida & their outside water spigot literally blew apart! We had to run up to the office just to get help because no one answered our calls that day. One time we were next to a annual that was very upset that we had to even be parked next to her as she had been using our alotted water spigot to water her plants, and this last time another neighbor had a speaker outside blaring music that shook our rig for over an hour despite me trying to call the after hours number, and finally talking to security. We end up with grassy sites (sometimes very muddy,) despite there being many paved sites available. Bright side is they have done many updates and landscaping is looking good. The office personnel have also been very helpful upon check in! Laundry is very economical while visiting. But, I haven't necessarily felt safe when I stay there. A little more security riding around would be helpful I think.…
RV sites and amenities arent clean or cared for. Infested with Fire ants. We stayed for the proximity locations to the parks, but would 100% look further to get a nice rv site. our "Premium" rv site was unlevel, uncared for, and contained a rotten picnic bench with a broken, unlevel concrete slab.
Checked in here, and were put in a site that was too small for our RV. No room to park our car near the site. Could not put out our awning, because it would have been in the road. When we put our driver side slide out, it was literally less than 1 inch from the utility post. No picnic table (of course, no room for it). Staff and management were terribly rude. I would rather park at a Walmart than stay at this place. Grassy sites deeply rutted and muddy. Garbage piled up near the dumpsters - which I was told by several residents that is a common occurrence. Possible health hazard, and definitely an eyesore.
Need I say more? I am not sure, but I think it is against the law to raise the rent during a national crisis. I was amazed when I received notification mid March that rent was going up in the middle of county issued curfew and restaurant/bar closings.
