i’m not normally one to leave bad reviews, as i’ve worked in hospitality myself and know how damaging they can be to the company, however this comfort inn has made me make an exception. i tried to be cheerful and optimistic, i really did. but the front desk agent was something less than pleasant. she was grouchy with us from the moment we checked in. we arrived to our room to have no towels, and when we called down to get some, not only did the phone ring for a good minute straight, but she also took forever to bring them up. both times i went down to the front desk thinking it would be easier to go see her, i had to say “excuse me” a couple times for her to hear me out of the side room and come out to help. the wifi also was not working for our stay. i called her the first time, she told me “just open your browser to cnn.com and it should work” and hung up on me. thankfully i got it working shortly after, however it stopped again. when i called down the second time she just gave me a number to call, and when i called that number they had to call the hotel anyway. i’m actually currently writing this review in my phones notes so i can just copy/paste into the review section, as a way to pass time while i’m waiting for the wifi to be back up and running. in addition to the unpleasant front desk agent, the bathrooms are also severely outdated and the freezer section of our friend wasn’t working due to the amount of ice build up. on the plus side, the beds felt like clouds. from here on out i’ll be staying at the comfort inn main gate. i had a much better experience over there. …
Dec. 24 2020 I wheeled up to the door in my NEW POWER WHEELCHAIR ..with my pre paid reservation. It was freezing cold. I am black of Hispanic descent. A woman. A tall man who appeared to be from either India or Pakistan in a tan comfort inn shirt. Walked to the glass doors and said WHAT DO YOU WANT? I never saw him before. I said I have a choice hotels reservation. He said can you pay the $25 hold? I said it's $50..for everyone. He said I am not letting you in. I said WHAT! HE SAID YOU ARE yelling you are CRAZY..and locked me out by myself around 11:59pm. Christmas Eve. I started yelling for help. Others went around the back and he let them in. I froze for 45 minutes in his parking lot. I had asked him ARE YOU A RACIST?
Nice place, only breakfast was not as expected, but with Covid, there is not room for long expectations. Rooms clean and service spectacular. Very comfortable and a great location. Super recommendable, hopefully we will back soon
Stayed here two night late with my mother and accidentally got locked out of one of the conjoined rooms. Owner charged my card 150 just to open it. He said he would send mantainence man out, it was actually him. Liars! Frauds!
