Overall we were happy with our stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The villas are clean and are equipped with most everything that you need. The grounds are well kept and beautiful! The only downside was the beach which looked nothing like the...More
An awesome villa that comfortably fits a family, with great amenities like the kitchen and downstairs table. The resort has an amazing beach with hammocks and plenty of seats and shade, as well as a large clean pool with pool toys already ready for you...More
We booked at the last minute and randomly ended up at Cocoplum. We definitely got lucky. The location in the Keys is very central and made all of our destinations in the keys easily accessible. Our view from the room was great. (Condo #1)
We stayed at Coco Plum Resort for 7 days and it was perfect. The pods are private, clean and very roomy for a family of 5-6. My only wish is there were King size beds in the master, other than that we haven't one complaint....More

yes we are strict about the no visitor policy. Our beach and pool area is one of the best in the Florida keys and we want it to be a private experience for the guest's that are actually staying with us. We are not a big place and there is just not enough room to provide for day guests, all of our return guest always appreciate this policy

Probably not somewhere you would take small children. The "ground floor" for the units is a laundry room, which cannot be accessed directly from your unit. You must go down a flight of stairs, and make your way under the units, so very inconvenient. As previously stated, the second floor, up steep stairs to a deck shared by three units, holds the kitchen (small but renovated), a dining area, and the screened porch. The porch would be very nice, except our immediate neighbors were smoking weed, probably not the best for small children.
Bathrooms are three flights up. And that last flight is the worst; a spiral staircase. The third floor has the baths and bedrooms, also a small sitting area, and a family room. Furnishings are dated and not the cleanest, so not good for young children who touch everything. I would personally look for something cleaner and safer. (we visited November 2015)

"Think about whether you want a unit closer to the beach or not; guests may be in the hot tub or pool later."
