We just finished our 11th year staying on the seawall for the month of February. Once again, we had a wonderful stay, the place is kept immaculate, the staff so personable and those staying in the park a very friendly. The park has the best sunsets. We have already booked again for 2024. Thank you everyone at the JR.

The staff was very friendly, and the facilities were clean. The price was fair for the keys. The areas near the water were beautiful, and the sites on the water looked nice. The interior sites however were cramped and boring. Pretty much a parking lot to sleep in your camper. Never felt like spending time outside. The sites were too close to each other and no scenery. I like campgrounds that have trees and provide privacy where you can sit around, grill and sit around a campfire. No privacy. It felt like living in a trailer park for a few days. If you’re looking for a place to sleep, while you explore the keys, then it’s fine. If you’re looking for a campground to relax and enjoy your site, then look somewhere else. It was quiet at night after 10:00pm.

This is a nice place but the sites (one I was in, 147?) are not laid out well at all. First I could not park at the patio as it was @ 5.6" high and my stairs were only 3.5 " off the ground. 2nd was my electric wpuld not reach as I needed s 20 ft extension cord if I could have parked over the patio. Had to pull down @ 8ft 4" just to reach plug. Took 3 sewer hoses to reach with out them streched to the max. Water hose was streched to the max to reach so added a 2nd hose. The person beside me had the same problems. Park itself was beautiful, dog park was nice (fence needs some repair if you have small dogs. Good location, nice view, nice dock. I ga e it a 3 mainly due to site layout.

Nice size sites with full hookups. They have a boat ramp and marina. A nice beach for watching the sunset over the gulf. Prime sites are on the sea wall with a great view. There is a nice pool and laundry room. 10 minutes from Marathon for restaurants and groceries.

Went as our first RV outing and loved the location. We had a spot right on the water #168 in front of the swimming area. The site was easy to back in to and hook ups were there as well. Each site had a picnic table and concrete pad. We enjoyed snorkeling in the swimming area and observed numerous sea life including lobster and a nurse shark. The pool was also nice and had umbrellas to keep the sun off if desired. Overall a nice and clean campground, we would come again.

First let me tell you how clean and neat and beautiful the grounds were! The mature trees and hedges were all maintained and pruned. The beach area was picture perfect and cleaned and raked daily. The area to watch the sunsets was picture perfect as well. The docks were kept tidy even after a bountiful day of fishing. The women at the front desk , Angie and Christy were very helpful and pleasant. The laundry and shower facilities were also clean and neat and well lit. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and that area too was well maintained. Our experience here was terrific and we can’t wait to return next summer!

Hubby and I stayed here from June 1-13. Upon arrival, we were met by a friendly staff member (sorry I didn’t get a name). We had paid for premium interior and I asked her if there was a chance of getting a spot with a little view of the water. They were putting us in 2, but she looked and then changed our site to 5D. AWESOME SITE!! Right across from the boat ramp (and gets very busy at times). Other than morons who have no respect walking through our site (until we said something), it was a perfect site. The pros are: proximity to water; clean bathhouse, clean pool, dog park, clean RV park, great set-up with the docks and tiki area; Cons: too many golf carts and WAY too many carts being driven by kids! Not enough of enforcing the rules for above, as well as other rules broken continuously and no staff around to take care of it. Didn’t ruin our visit, but was annoying. Lack of having a fire pit at night. Really missed that. Laundry room prices ($4+ per load!) got pretty hot, prices were way too high as well. The campground needs a general store, Another way for them to make some money! Overall, good place to spend time and money (over $100 per night) and we biked both south and north for miles, kayaked from the campground and also drove over to Bahia Honda and Curry Hammock and biked and kayaked on several different days. Ate at some of the local place and also bought fresh grouper and shrimp from Keys Fishery. Both were really good with the blackened seasoning.…

First time to stay here. Rented 1 of their efficacy units. Very nice little unit. was newly remodeled. Was impressed with all the accommodations at the resort. being centrally located in the keys made it nice to explore in either direction as there are lots of things todo in the keys. the staff was very nice. I would stay here again.

This is a good place to set up your RV and enjoy the sunshine, the water, and make new friends. The sites are primarily grassy, with adequate power and water. The bathroom is clean. The Tiki Pavilion is a good place to share time with others and look out at the ocean. The nights were quiet.
