Had two rooms booked for two nights and was amazed at the cleanliness and charm. Amazing and helpful staff! Love how we were able to bring our friendly little pug. Perfect spot within walking distance to an amazing pizza place and quality ice cream! Nice free pickup breakfast in the morning. We will definitely book again for our next trip!

I had made reservations and paid in full via a third party site that they are affiliated with. Our Keys trip included two different accommodations, one in Key West for the first two nights- which had sent me a confirmation and reminder a couple days prior to our stay, and Hadley House in Islamorada which I had not received anything from via email except the third party confirmation. We were to stay here the second part of our Keys getaway and my husband called Hadley House the morning we were to arrive to confirm - since again we had never received confirmation- he was told that they did not see our reservation in the system (!!!!) after some back and forth we were able to secure our room and they assured us that they would take care of us and had "found" the reservation. Upon arrival we again explained, and pulled up the third party confirmation and receipt. We were asked to pay a daily "resort fee" which was not included in the online payment I had already sent. I know this is pretty standard now days but a bit obnoxious. We paid the resort fee and were directed to our room. The property is larger than I expected. It seems comprised of a couple of older vacation properties combined to create "Hadley House" you can see where some improvements are still being made but overall a lot if work has been done to update the building and grounds. Our "room" ended up being a split level suite and we were more than happy with our accommodations. We could see the pool and a tiny bit of the water from our room. Bathroom, linens, furniture was all new. We did have an issue with the tv, figuring out the very outdated sliding door and a burnt out lightbulb but other than that were pleased. In my opinion, you can see where some of the renovation was a bit spotty and seemed rushed but again overall we were happy. We did not use the included kayaks and the beach area is not one to swim from but there are other options nearby. We did however spend some time in the chairs along the water. We stayed for three nights and found everything peaceful and relaxing. Pool was a bit cloudy but undergoing some maintenance. We did swim and relax there a couple times. The continental breakfast some reviewers complained about was more than adequate for us and exactly what we expected- coffee, cereal, fruit, some rotating options of danishes, yogurt, granola bars one day... more than enough to start your day. Overall a great stay, we stopped at the office to hand in keys and asked if anything else was required for checkout, I was told "no".... however.... When we returned home I checked my credit card online and there was another full charge from Hadley House despite already having paid in full a month or so prior via the third party and explaining this upon arrival.... My husband called and spoke to a manager who apologized and assured him the charge would be reversed which it was the next day. I am not sure what the issue is between their system and the third party booking but this needs to be resolved. We were informed you can bring a boat and pay to use the dock here which is a great option. Some of the rooms are also dog friendly. All in all a nice stay but the issues with the "missing" reservation and then being charged in full twice was less than stellar. We would stay here again but check your credit card statements.

We stayed 1 night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room (2 bedroom suite) wasn’t completely as expected. One of the rooms had a full sized bed & was really small. Since we had an infant with us we had to use the other room so it could fit the crib. The other couple with us slept on the pull out couch instead of in the full bed for comfort. They did say that the pull out couch was very comfortable. The pool area was pleasant & the pool was good. I wish the would rake the “beach” in front of the hotel to cut down on the smell from the seaweed / red tide.

My sister and I took a mini vacation. The view was nice. We opened the refrigerator and it smelled like dead fish. We plugged it in and it smelled a little better. The shower also had a huge stain in the corner and the bottom was slightly dirty. The blankets had small black stains on them as well. When we returned to the room and began walking around, we noticed our feet were black and I mean black. The next morning we contacted the front desk to make them aware. When we returned to the room, same problem. They also left us no clean towels. We had to call desk again. No one had cleaned the fridge or mopped the floor. We took it upon ourselves to mop the floor with towels. The towels were black and it went over the floor several times.
