Cheeca is one of the nicest properties in the Keys. You truly feel special when staying there. The amenities are great, the dining and bars are great, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. We stay here every year to escape the cold for a few days. Highly recomend!
This resort has all the amenities you could hope for and then some. Great for weddings/events, couples and families! Perfect for a long weekend! The food and service were also great. The 3 par 9 hole golf course was a really nice feature. One hole was under renovation but the course was still fun!
This is a place you can really relax at. We really enjoyed just sitting on the beach in an Adirondack Beach chair and looking out at the dock and watching the Pelicans dive into the water for food! Dinner beach side was a real treat and staff was so accommodating!
Love the Cheeca! Always a top notch experience. We had a business meeting and we stayed in the new suites. Felt like a Ritz with an old Florida flair. Great location with a beautiful outdoor area. Everything was superb
Beautiful property and very friendly staff. We stayed at a bungalow with a view of the ocean. Room was clean and large. The only issue was the thin walls as we had loud neighbors playing loud music late. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!
The site is exceptional with all well maintened garden and flowers. The atmosphere at night is very romantic and beautiful with the fire all around. Our room was splendid and very clean. The bed was very soft, comfortable. Perfect decor with pefect romantic terrasse for two on the sand and a marvelous ocean view!!
Bed was comfortable and amazing, room was dated and sad (700 building) staff seemed new, untrained and just not up to the standards of how Cheeca presents itself. The grounds and pools are heavenly, pretty decent food with large portions. But damn the service. Cheeca looks like you’ll be pampered, but you won’t be. You will have lovely views though. Fair warning.
Great experience at Cheeca Lodge for a long weekend. Arrived Thursday and left Monday, thus avoiding the worst of the incoming/outgoing Friday/Sunday traffic on Highway 1. Oceanfront room was lovey, looking out on a clean, quiet beach and stunning sunrises. Super windy during our visit so we had to miss some of our planned water/boating activities, but still found plenty to do. Excellent yoga teacher for morning outdoor classes. Good restaurants in the area, but for some you may need to make reservations a few days in advance for weekend times. Don't skip the Cheeca restaurant itself - the caprese omelet at breakfast and tuna burger at lunch were excellent! Also had a great massage at the Cheeca Spa. Hope we can return next year.
My wife and I enjoyed 5 nights and 6 days at Cheeca Lodge & Spa. It was absolutely beautiful and as avid golfers we had a blast on the executive par 3 course. Every meal we had was delicious and you cannot beat the beautiful views. Pool side service was amazing and the water activites available are extensive. We will be returning again!
Amazing room with a gorgeous view! Stayed at the resort for a business meeting in January. All staff were friendly and helpful. Meeting rooms were nice and conference food was good. Resort restaurants were delicious. I did not want to leave.
