This place is absolutely perfect for vacations , weekend getaways if your from South Florida( like myself). It is hidden amongst a canopy of trees on the Oceanside of Islamorada. Absolutely wonderful views from the resort. A golf course. The resort has many excellent restaurants to choose from. Family friendly as well. A tiki bar on the ocean with a... More

We have been traveling to Cheeca Lodge for years now and I am always impressed every time we go back and visit. The staff is so accommodating and the accommodations are luxurious I would never stay anywhere else.

We have been to Islamorada and we have done it all. Rented houses, stayed in resorts. This resort is very nice but I think is overpriced. It's probably the nicest place in Islamorada. The service was ok, but not exceptional. The view from our ocean front room as 5 star, but because of being overpriced and the service was just... More

Check-in was awesome with a glass of champagne to welcome guests. The accommodations were excellent, the food was great and it was very romantic. I would certainly recommend the location and look forward to visiting again.

We stayed here for a special anniversary, so we opted for an Oceanview Suite in the Main Lodge. What a view! What a room! What a balcony! We had a wonderful week at the Cheeca that started by being greeted during check in with a glass of champagne. Our room overlooked the Atlantic with the beach and the palm trees... More

Nice property but rooms and service not up to par. Dripping a/c, faucets that did not work, drawers that had no stoppers and just came out as you pulled it. Called front desk and waited 4 hours for someone to show up. People were literally eating and smoking IN the adult pool. All management had to say was "sorry" Beach... More

Very friendly service. Spacious suites. Great kid friendly resort and activities Alexis (GM?) was amazing and attentive as was Hortensia & Miguel (Kids Camp). My only complaints are: 1. Food in all the restaurants mediocre at best - even breakfast was not great. (sushi restaurant very pricey for what was served- and i dont mind paying for high quality food)... More

Another fantastic and memorable stay at the Cheeca Lodge! We usually stay at the Cheeca Lodge several times a year, and we are always so pleased. The staff goes out of its way to make everyone's stay a most memorable one. This stay started off with Dadrian, a wonderful, friendly, and very helpful staff member. Dadrian checked us in, and... There's no reason not to book a stay at the Cheeca Lodge. Beautifully maintained property, and a friendly staff. I was a little disappointed in the location of the room I was placed in, for some reason I thought I'd booked in the main lodge....they gave me a complimentary upgrade, and placed me close to the road...room 712, BUT it... Hotel and grounds are beautiful, unfortunately service, when existent, is uninterested on the customer. Out check in experience was so uninspiring (our welcome host didnt feel like serving the complementary drink to us or the couple prior to us) that we decided to have dinner somewhere else and did not try the restaurants. We didn't see any pool service but... More
