The "Queen of the Florida Keys", Cheeca Lodge & Spa has been an exclusive hideaway for celebrities, business leaders and U.S. Presidents for over 70 years. Set on 27 private oceanfront acres in Islamorada, Cheeca has been constructed with a porte-cochere entrance, traditional Florida Keys architecture and spirited tradition of “barefoot elegance” -- a term coined at Cheeca. Along with a coffee bar and top-shelf lobby bar, Cheeca boasts three distinctive restaurants: Atlantic’s Edge, Cheeca’s flagship restaurant offering a seasonal fine-dining menu of fresh local seafood, prime steaks and organic local produce, Nikai Sushi Bar and Restaurant offering the Florida Keys’ freshest sushi, Asian-inspired fare and a unique selection of Japanese sake and wine; and family-friendly Mia Cucina restaurant transporting Naples, Italy into the heart of Islamorada serving up made to order artisan pizzas, pastas and salads.

From the check, which was done at some make shift setup. I then went to my room that looked and smells damp and dark. The last 3 pictures is of the grounds you will notice the "moat" area that has nasty debris that has not been cleaned. There is the rock waterfall structure, similar to those at the zoo, with the athletically pleasing firehouse laying around. So headed to the beach which has not been cleaned of trash or debris in a very long time. Asked to check out fishing told we can't we close at 5( not convenient) when check in is 4pm. Got a $ 15 drinks at the bar which were undrinkable. How do you mess up Pina coloada and Margherita. So last picture my wife ran a bath to notice the tub is full of sand. This place is checka Outta of. Maybe 2 stars because they are attempting a lot but failing miserably. Watch below. Management response will be we appreciate your feedback and we will pass this information along. They do not attempt to fix it or accommodate you. Avoid this place.

Cheeca was a great trip. This is a great resort with a helpful and welcoming staff, the bell men helps you the second you arrive and the staff continues the great service the entire stay. The room was clean and peacefully, the balcony faced the garden and was relaxing. The pool was great, serving staff are awesome. The water sport team was excellent, the jet ski tour was the best part of the trip. We will be back. We split our trip to the Keys in two; first half Cheeca & second half Tranquility Bay (Marathon) there is no comparison we should have done the entire trip at the Cheeca Lodge!

For an extremely high price the service is below par and the so called butler that's advertised did nothing more that a call to the front desk would have offered us. Being a short drive from the main building it seems like we were left on our own with no service. Don't bother upgrading to a casita!

We recently got married at Cheeca Lodge and I cant even summarize how amazing our experience was. Emily Kirk and the event staff at Cheeca went above and beyond for all our needs. From the start, our planning process was seamless. My guest were blown away but the impeccable service they received all weekend long, along with the delicious food! Plenty of our guest have already mentioned that they cant wait to go back to Cheeca for a future vacation.

Wonderful resort with the best of the best!! Great for families and for adult getaways, the Checca is the best resort in the Florida Keys. The rooms are fantastic, clean and comfortable. The food is amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The pools are wonderful after spending the day on the sand bars or out fishing. Don’t forget to get in-room breakfast because it’s delicious and is delivered within 15 minutes of ordering consistently. I am already planning yet another trip to Checca!
