An absolute peaceful and beautiful grounds, so authentic and organic, the other travelers were so quick to help at the dock us newbies , lots of friendly fisherman coming and going so convenient to get anywhere with the boat , the pool is great to cool off after a hot day out on the water, so well located , we... My mistake, booked room 24 which is up 16 steps and faces the highway instead of the bay, where the rest of the rooms focus. Plus side, the room is quiet, and could barely hear the highway, there are tropical trees to screen the highway but I really wanted the balcony or patio to be a scenic place to drink... More

Let me start off by saying that I was not a guest at Kon-Tiki - thankfully. I had a 3 night stay 1 mile south at Amara Cay Resort - review to come. We were visiting Islamorada for a destination wedding on April 23rd. The parents of the bride booked a 3 bedroom villa in which her Aunt and Uncle... More

To the point, Nancy was quite rude and has a personal issue with her accent. To many issues with the management to list. I will never stay here again!! The owners should really do something about them!!

We've been here before and will stay here again whenever we come to Islamorada. This trip, we were in unit #15, which has a huge bedroom with two queen sized beds, a living/dining room, and a full kitchen complete with microwave and coffee machine as well as a full sized refrigerator and stove and everything you need to cook and... This was visit number two with a group of Bud's looking for a long weekend of fishing and getting our fun on! Kon Tiki has well kept tropical grounds, and is a great low key, non touristy, no frills stay. If your looking for a Hilton, this is not your destination. If your looking for a comfortable stay while your... More

The resort is right on the water and so the view from just outside our room was perfect. Lots of nice areas for sitting outside with shaded areas, hammocks and a heated pool. The room was clean although nothing fancy but who would want to stay inside with scenery like that on your doorstep. The staff were very friendly and... More

The room was clean. It doesn't state that you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the room. The resort was nice, a lot of fishermen and it seemed as if everyone knew each other. We did not try the pool but it looked nice. It was very reasonable compared to other resorts on Islamorada.

We were staying at Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood. We decided to drive down for the day and take in the sites of the Keys. We loved it and decided to stay one night. I was already paying for a night at a resort at $350 night and didn't want to pay another $350 to say in the keys. I really... More

Pretty much what we expected. Several options on room sizes available, but all we needed was a room while traveling through. We got the smallest one they had, which had a bath, bed, TV, small fridge, etc. Heated pool was nice. Room was reasonably clean. Boat ramp on property so would be a great place if you take your boat... More
