I met friends here and loved the grounds and the friendliness of the staff. It's in a nice location close to many good restaurants. The rooms were very clean. I loved the hammock too! I'll definitely go back.
Check in was relatively quick and helpful. The hotel grounds are kept pretty clean. We rented one of the two big villas right on the water. You definitely can't beat the view! The interior is a throw back to the 80's though, expect nothing fancy!...More

While I have not stayed here I have stayed at many places in the keys. There are not a lot of real beaches in the keys...each key is basically a rock in the water. If you want shelling the west coast of Florida, particularly Sanibel, would be the place. Most beaches are created by clearing rocks and dumping sand, then smoothing it out on a grade that gets deeper the farther it goes out. Walks on any beach in the keys would be a pleasure and sunsets are outrageous, particularly when you are equipped with a margarita!
