Had chalet number 17.beware of excessive noise from air conditioning which kept me awake some nights even though I switched mine off, I could hear next door. First I thought it was some generator working. Check before you book.
This place is fantastic. We stayed in the Coconut house which has a private pool. Anna was fantastic in helping with our needs. The hurricane had wiped out the piers and the screen on the back porch but it did not detract from the enjoyment...More

While I have not stayed here I have stayed at many places in the keys. There are not a lot of real beaches in the keys...each key is basically a rock in the water. If you want shelling the west coast of Florida, particularly Sanibel, would be the place. Most beaches are created by clearing rocks and dumping sand, then smoothing it out on a grade that gets deeper the farther it goes out. Walks on any beach in the keys would be a pleasure and sunsets are outrageous, particularly when you are equipped with a margarita!
