Still a beautiful place but def not as peaceful as it used to be. Can get a little loud at night espeshially round the pool area if you have kids with you. Lou has done a great job adding the kayaks and bikes. House keeping are as friendly and helpful as usual. They work really hard. As do the office... More

We had a great time. We had a 2/2 unit. The resort is only 13 units and definitely not cheap. We paid $500+- a night. The resort is super quaint, super clean and just a great place. Free bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and fishing gear. Has a free boat launch into the ocean with an amazing dock! The pool is... More

Amazing resort. Beautiful rooms. Service was impeccable. Only thing missing is that they do not have a private beach. I had an amazing time stay here 4 nights. Fishing off the pier is ok. They provide kayaks, boards, and fishing poles, so you don't have to bring your own.

An unspoiled tropical paradise found. I actually hope the word does not get out on this place, it is so great. Centrally located to great food, water activities and shopping. Very friendly and well run.

We recently (6/20/16) stayed at The Caribbean Resort for a destination Wedding. The Friends got married on the Island, but the actual wedding was at a separate location. Bryan and Michele G. recommended that we all stay at this location so we could be close to all. Most of the group did stay at the Caribbean Resort. I can tell... More

If you are considering this location for your Islamorada trip then you can mook no further! This resort offers a beautiful and safe haven for your family. The grounds are impeccable, The docks provide great views of the ocean and the amenities (bikes, paddleboards, grills, kayaks) make it possible to never leave once you have checked in. It is most... Every summer we travel to Islamorada. Each year we have enjoyed the accommodations but never so much that we have done a repeat stay the following year. This spring, I scoured the internet and reviews here on Trip Advisor. When I saw this place I was skeptical because it seemed too good to be true. All the reviews supported this... More

A lovely place to stay. Very quite and private in well planted lush gardens. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped for self-catering. Worth buying groceries away from the Keys as it is very expensive and of limited choice/quality in the local area. Local restaurants were OK but not great and also overpriced compared to other parts of the... More

I reluctantly share this review, as we would like to keep The Caribbean Resort a closely held secret. We stayed there over spring break, and it was hard to leave. From the moment you arrive, you know you are someplace special. The lush, tropical vegetation throughout the resort and the pastel cottages with wrap around porches make you feel you... More

I have been going to Islamorada in the Florida Keys for many years, and just returned from a 4 week stay at the best small resort I have ever stayed at over 30 years. The Caribbean Resort near mm 81 on the ocean side is on a little side street, called South Carroll St, near Cheeca Lodge. The location is... More
