Highly recommend Casa Morada for a weekend stay. Staff incredibly polite and helpful. The location is beautiful. The Shangri-La suite is fantastic with a private balcony overlooking the water. A gem of a place and suite! Thank you Casa Morada!

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was everything we were looking for. It was beautiful, private, quiet and clean. The staff was great and the room was fantastic. We wanted a place to relax and we found it. Our room was by the water and the views were amazing, not only from there but pretty much everywhere on the property. If you are looking for a less commercial resort we would recommend staying here. We will be staying again!

I needed a vacation away from crowds. Adults only Casa Morada was the perfect choice. Islamorada is much quieter than Key Largo or Key West,. Many local activities and great restaurants nearby, Our quiet room was located in the Main building on the second (walk up 14 steps) floor. Each room had a unique name and key rings with tropical characters. The king sized bed and linens were so comfortable. Loved the Malin + Goetz bath supplies. The bathroom with a beveled stone floor and small seating bench was located in between the bedroom and a small sitting area. One reviewed suggested the towels were scratchy. I must disagree. The sitting area had a desk, daybed and small refrigerator. A small screen porch with two chairs and a table overlooked the garden area. Complementary chips, gummy fish and M & Ms were a nice surprises Fee based Minibar with soft drinks and water were in a small refrigerator. It would have been great to have a coffee/tea maker in this area. Terrazzo floors throughout. Appreciated the great air conditioning system in the high humidity Keys. Breakfast was offered each day from 7 to 11 AM on a porch overlooking the Bay. While some reviewers complained about the free breakfast, each day we enjoyed fresh pastries, a wide variety of teas, juice, hard boiled eggs and cereals. NY times available daily. Only concern was for those with physical limitations, the stairs to this area could be a barrier. A small restaurant, Mangrove Mikes a short walk away offers full breakfast and lunch. Bikes, paddle boards, kayaks and snorkeling equipment were available for guests to use. Sunset cruise was available for an additional fee. A small bar offered a small variety of beers and light food. The staff were very unobtrusive. We will certainly return to Islamorada and the Casa Morada again

Stayed here for my wifes birthday. Room was very clean and comfirtable and the staff is wonderful. The grounds of the hotel are a treat as well. The dock bar by the pool has the best view. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Husband and I have stayed twice and love the view from starfish suite. The place is clean and quiet and the staff is very happy to accommodate you with any special needs. Only problem is that the furniture needs to be upgraded. Also after the hurricanes the carpet should have been replaced. It brings the value of the suite down. That was the only reason we did not stay there last February.
