We eloped in Islamorada and spent the next 2 weeks hopping around the Keys. We were staying at a large resort in Marathon and just weren't happy with the place so we decided to return to Islamorada for the last night of our honeymoon. We tried to get back into The Moorings where we got married and they were fully booked but referred us to Casa Morada. We are so happy they did!! This place is such a hidden gem! We love the smaller boutique style hotels. The service here was amazing! We called just 2 days before and the woman who answered the phone was so kind and helpful. She gave us one of the last two rooms available, the Wild Water jacuzzi suite in the Garden building. It was surprisingly spacious, with a separate sitting area, screened porch and of course a jacuzzi tub. This was an end unit on the second floor and we loved all the windows making us feel like we were in a tree house! The man who checked us in was kind enough to give us a tour of the property and show us to our room. We then walked down to the bar for lunch and the woman working there greeted us with fresh citrus water. We ordered some drinks and food and just loved sitting there looking out at the water and the boats. So relaxing! The property is beautiful with all the trees, plants, and hidden water features. Everyone working there was amazing. My husband requested a bottle of champagne be delivered while we were out to dinner and they set it up with candles all around the room too, so romantic! The included in-room breakfast was nice and convenient too! We had an awesome stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again! My only regret is not having another night!!

We drove down from Ft Lauderdale for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy each other's company. The property was tucked away off the main street adding to the relaxation vibe we were looking for. The room opened up to a beautiful path that lead to the water which added to the vibe. The room was perfect for a couple looking to enjoy each other's company for the weekend. The service was impeccable and access to the paddle boards and bikes was a very nice bonus. The location was perfect we were never more than 5 minutes away from a restaurant or bar we wanted to goto, which we recommend Mar Bar, The Square Grouper, and Midway Cafe for breakfast.

We have nothing but nice things to say. First, when we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation. Was sooo worried and disappointed, since we had an issue earlier in the summer for a different trip. (that’s another story in itself). Well, I excused myself (super cute boutique hotel) and had my husband figure it out. There was a computer glich during Covid and they did not receive our 3rd party reservation. Long story short, we stayed in one room and were able to stay in our reserved gulf view the remaining nights. So glad they were not sold out. They were very accommodating and continually checked on us- bought our first round of drinks, refunded some room amount, etc. Beautiful, quiet location- we will be back and either confirm our 3rd party reservation or just book directly! They also offer day excursions (snorkeling, kayaking), sunset cruises (all extra), but have for free use of bikes, kayaks, paddle boards. Location is prime Islamorada

Only 16 suites and no children allowed = blissful romantic getaway. Often you feel like you have the place to yourselves. The pool on its own island is mesmerizing. Terri the manager went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! We eloped and married on the pier. Terri took care of everything and came in on her day off to make sure everything was perfect! Edith at the bar was equally fantastic! I’ve been coming here for many years and will be back time and again. There’s just nothing else like it! 5 stars!!!!!

While this hotel was a paradise several years ago, sadly, it has lost its charm over the years. The biggest being the staff. We have never met someone who was so rude and made us feel so uncomfortable. We were yelled at, given attitude and made to feel strange for asking simple things. We are good people, respectful and were excited for our trip only to be met with negativity.
