Not the cleanest of rooms and quite old and faded but any Key West Hotel is about location mainly, this one is admittedly on the far side of all the action but they do provide a free bus into and out of the centre, they do get crowded so it's pot luck if you get it, there is a Starbucks on site too. The hotel offers all the usual facilities but in these early post covid days don't expect too much. One bad error was that one of our party had a missing bag which the porter sent to the wrong room!
Hotels rooms look nothing like the pics on Hotels.com. There is nothing on 24 North property to suggest value nor amenities to support an added $42.00 per day resort fee. Rooms were shabby, no room service except every Thursday at $300 a night?? One had to take it upon themselves to track down clean towels direct from room service personnel. Pay the extra 30-40 dollars a day and avoid this property.
I wish I could give 0 stars for this motel . Yes this is a motel and not a hotel . Was deceived by fake online reviews and photos . We checked in for 2 nights. The staff specially Fran and the other front desk staff are rude and non professional. It looks like they are used to people complaining about filthy the place is . The rooms are full of dust and mold . The beds are back breakers and the furniture is 40 years old. The rooms smelled like mold and feet . The cleaning room never did service even after asking the front desk for it . The showers are very tiny . The trash was under the bed . The carpets had blood stains and very bad smell . The pool is packed with 50 people and very noisy even after midnight . The location is horrible it being on a highways . The price was 400 plus resort fees plus tax plus parking plus plus plus . This motel is hazardous to guests . The health department will need to act fast .…
Great hotel with really nice pool and rooms. Isabella at the front desk was really helpful and cordial with all the questions we have, had a lot of recommendations and tips that we found really helpful. Would definitely come back. Great service at the pool bar also.
Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Great pool area and big lawn for games like corn hole. Killer location as well. Davinia at the front desk was super. She took the time to help us plan our entire weekend in Key West. If you are looking for activities or great recommendations ask for her. She is the best !
Upon arrival, I noticed that the front entrance was dirty. The elevator had trash on the floor. We arrived at our room, and the door was spotted with rust. The room was dated but fairly clean. The pool areas and bars were clean and the staff were friendly. We have no complaints regarding the food or the drinks. At the end of our trip, we agreed that we would stay there again and hopefully, this review will motivate management to improve the appearance of the property.
To get started, my family and I were very disappointed right from the start. We arrived at 11 AM on Saturday April 30 for 3 nights and were told our room was ready only to find out that we would still be charged for an “early” check-in. Speaking to the manager on duty was useless since it seems to be policy that early check-in and late check-out must have a fee even though you are spending $$$$ a night to stay there. After paying the fee so we could enjoy our stay, our room was not the one we reserved which was to be a king bed with a queen bed pull-out couch. Back to the lobby to wait in line and get the right room. The room was relatively small and there were no bed coverings for the pull-out which was to be done before returning that night from dinner. Returning at 9 PM, it was still not done which we complained at the desk to get done ASAP. At the pool bar, only one bartender (Jennifer) had a personality, the rest had an attitude. Also, requesting the maid service for towels/toilet paper was like they were doing you a big favor. The ocean view room we had faced a very busy, noisy Roosevelt Blvd with people coming and going past the room until very late at night. It would have been nice to have a “real” balcony. Would not stay here again and with family/friends planning a Key West visit, we have told them to look elsewhere!!!!!…
What an i credible playing blackjack with the beautiful JR in the pool. While i didn't win i had the best afternoon getting to know the other people vacationing. It was a treat doing something you don't normally do !! Thank you for the fun !
I booked this hotel based on some of the good reviews. However, we were very disappointed!! If you want to have a Key West experience definitely DON'T stay at this hotel. Its a good 15 minute drive to get to the main Key West area. The hotel is located on busy Roosevelt Rd which is pretty much a highway. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the front entrance and the busy road. There is no balconies in any of the suites. The rooms feel like a glorified motel room, dark and dingy with cheap furnishings. This was not our idea of a vacation in Key West!!!! As soon as we checked in to our room we implored our booking agent to cancel and thankfully they did!
Irina at the Toasted Coconut gave us flawless service!! She made the experience 10 times better. The food and drinks were great but you cant beat the awesome customer service that Irina provided. Thank you!!🙂
