Receptionist / Housekeeping / Groundskeepers were on the ball. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. I was able to decompress from the daily grind! Location is just minutes walking from activities. Don’t let parking be a discouraging facture the staff can guide you on a solution.
Like all the other properties on the island it'll be street parking. An inside tip is finding a spot that isn't listed as "permit/reserved" so yes you will have to do a bit of driving around but not a lot as there are so many side streets. I was determined and I drove around for not even 5-10 minutes and found one 2-3 minutes away. It is STANDARD to not have parking on-site. -Staff was friendly -Coffee/tea 24/7 it is a machine -Property is gated off and has a few buildings with various rooms in it. Request one with street view and upper floors. I had a lovely view with a walk out balcony and NO issues with noise or anything. -Pools and a hot tub -Breakfast available every morning -Wifi available throughout property -Bike rentals available -Walking distance to the main strip -Highschool locker (size wise) to lock everything up…
Booked last minute. Close to everything. Excellent service and amenities. Affordable, clean. Friendly staff. I can't say enough good things about this place. Will definitely stay here again and again. Highly recommended!
Dirty guest rooms, dirty bathrooms, dirty guest room refrigerator (even left previous guests drinks in there upon arrival), dirty common areas. Guest bathroom fan did not work. End tables in room were worn and unsightly. Dirt and stains on guest room/bathroom wall & doors. Very dirty baseboards. Common area floors and carpeting very dirty. Public area pool bathroom very dirty.
!!!FUTURE RESIDENCE BEWARE!!! General Manager and Staff: Before arrival, a tropical storm that was evolving into a hurricane forced over half of the state's counties into a state of emergency, despite this, the GM was unwilling to work with 5 veterans on veterans’ day to accommodate a refund in the event our flight could not make it in or set us up for different dates outside of the hurricane. The employee who first handled my concern was argumentative and was more focused on referring to policy rather than finding a solution to our problem. Upon arrival, we were met by a security guard who was extremely unwelcoming and frustrated and had to do his job and check us in. I tried my best to “kill em with kindness” but the security guard remained unwelcoming and rude. I asked about parking and he said, “We have no parking so you are on your own, that’s for you to figure out.” I was in disbelief at how he was talking to me. Rooms: Jesus Christ these rooms need to be condemned, upon entry of the room, it REEKED of mold and mildew. Above the AC in room 217 there is festering black mold that is circulating mold spores throughout the entire room. The bed sheets had large yellow stains and brownish-red stains as well, this was straight-up biohazardous and I felt awful my friend had to sleep with those sheets. Nobody comes to deliver fresh towels if the staff is no longer on-premise you can not get access to these necessities so you are stuck having to use pool towels although nobody tells you this. These rooms are hostel style so if you don’t fully book the room with 5 people random people will come into your room without any notice and share the room with you, this is something that is also not listed. I wouldn’t recommend for ANYONE to stay unless you want to get sick or have the lodging company screw you over due to acts of god (flooding, storms, road closures, etc)…
The hotel was nice, rooms a bit old and very noisy (we had a room on the ground floor), but clean and the location is perfect. You can walk everywhere. Parking on the street possible and easy. The staff is super nice and helpful and the breakfast that is included is great (free Starbucks coffee). Would definitely come back.
It’s a very nice hostel, there’s 4 different pool where u can swim or just relax and in 10-20 minutes you can go everywhere. I went with other 3 friends and the room was perfect: very small but cozy. Perfect with friends or people who u have confidence with.
While this place is very affordable, it was lot at all accommodating. When I checked in around 7pm, I was given a tip bunk in a 4 person room. I asked if I could be given a bottom bunk as I have a knee injury. The check in person didn’t even check to see if possible. He very rudely informed “nothing I can do”. That is not how you treat guests with injuries. Secondly, the outlet at my bed was not working and there was no one at the front desk to inform of the issue. This resulted in my phone dying during the night and me missing an important phone call in the morning. The guy in the bottom bunk below me also informed his outlet wasn’t working so this appears to be a know. Issues that was never fixed. I would never stay here again. Issues occur but good customer service is trying to resolve them. No such here. …
Front desk experience is always a pleasure because Raquel is really good at what she does, above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Ancy, the houseman is so very engaging, friendly and accommodating. Jenny is a perfectionist when it comes to breakfast service. This was my third time staying with them and each time I have been treated like I own the place! Truly a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to seeing you all in January!
Place was nice, clean, and customer service was very good. They only thing that I have to say is that they keep their bath towels locked in a cabinet, so you have to use your room key to get them out. Apparently they charge for the use of a bath towel. So if you feel you can dry off with a hand towel, then you are good. If not, bring your own towels with you.
