Just a wonderful place to stay in Key West. Location, ambiance, proximity to restaurants and attractions. Would not stay anyplace else! The hosts Les and Paul are gracious and most helpful. Christina is a gem and a font of knowledge on best places to eat and drink. If you are looking for five star places...I am sorry for you!
Atmosphere: Charming B&B. Only eight bedrooms with a variety of accommodations. Backyard Spa surrounded by tables. Meal: Breakfast served 8 AM- 10 AM plenty to offer.24 hour snacks and beverages. Host: Very attentive. Offered wine and... while we were relaxing at the backyard. Location: Walking distance to main attractions. One block to free shuttle that provides an non-narrative to major sightseeing locations. Avoid taking the expensive hop-on/ hop-off train or trolley. Accommodation: Two floors with four rooms each. I suggest that you reserve your room on the first floor. There are three facing the backyard and one in the lobby area, which we stayed. Our friends stayed in what they called the "Paris" room. Both rooms were well appointed.
I stayed four nights so I got a pretty good feel for the property. I made the trip to Key West to run the Key West Half Marathon in mid January. If that's why you are going this place is perfect. It is literally two blocks to the starting line and 2.5 from the finish area. Pretty much every thing on the west side of the key is an easy walk. Mallory Square is about a half mile. I had room five. It was fine for me but I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than a single. The house is 160 years old and has most of the original woodwork. Plumbing is fine. Hot water is fine. My room, and I assume all rooms, had a multi outlet plug with two USB outlets that fix the issue of computer/phone/tablet charging. I was alone but at times had four devices plugged in. Breakfast isn't served until 8:30 but on our race morning they had food ready for runners. Coffee is available 24/7. A huge plus is how knowledgeable and helpful they are. They gave me advice on bus service, particularly the free bus loop, tips on eating, and where to walk one block and get a good bike rental. Side Note: Biking is the way to go once your car is parked.…
My sister and I stayed at this lovely B&B for 2 nights while on our visit to Key West. The location is so convenient to everything that we wanted to do, 4 blocks from the ferry and harbor side, as well as a short walk to Duval Street. Christina was our hostess during our visit. She was so fun to chat with and knew everything about Key West so we got lots of great suggestions for activities as well as restaurants. Breakfast was provided each morning and was excellent. The room was on the small side but clean with comfortable bedding. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for helping make our trip fun!
Christina and the staff here were wonderful. The food was great, the room was clean and if you needed anything they were there to help. The only thing that could be improved is their WiFi ...We were close to the office but still could only get a poor or marginal signal thus streaming was near impossible.
