Built upon one of the most advantageous blocks on the island, the Duval Inn is steps away from Duval Street, but our poolside lounges are just far enough away from the excitement to coax our guests into peaceful naps. Clean, fresh rooms with all the charm you'd expect from a tropical Inn, yet each room has all the amenities you would find at a modern hotel. Welcome to Paradise. Welcome to the Duval Inn.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Room was clean and air conditioning was cold, thank god since it was 100+ degrees each day. We were within walking distance to everything. The pool was a little to warm for my liking but it was clean. Happy hour near the pool was lacking and was supposed to be each night. However, only had happy hour one night. Some low music would be great. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here over the Memorial weekend to attend the celebration of life service on Mallory Square for a dear friend so it was expensive for what I got, given my bad timing. The pros - walking distance from Mallory Square; far enough from the madness, but close enough to feel connected; clean rooms and bed; quaint courtyard. Staff is pleasant, but not empowered to do anything without the owner who is never there. Cons - really, really bad WIFI in the rooms; stale boiled eggs for breakfast; noisy air conditioner. The pros outweigh the cons, I guess. Depending on what’s important to you.

Our first stay and not our last. Great staff and awesome patio area. Room was nice. Would luv to see them get king size beds. Bathroom a little small but that's ok. We didnt get to take advantage of happy hour, but we did rent bikes that was a great option.

We enjoyed our recent two-night stay at the Duval Inn. The hotel grounds and rooms are well maintained and attractive. The staff is helpful and friendly. And you won't get a better Duval Street location without actually being on Duval Street. Not only super close to all the action but also nice amenities which included baggage storage, nearby free parking (subject to availability), a nice continental breakfast and happy hour. The "only" thing that kept me from a 5-bubble rating was that our room (Seaside) fronted on Angela Street and was directly across from an establishment called SideBar which is evidently open until 4 AM. And not just open. Open with thumping music and r-e-a-l-l-y bad karaoke "sung" at top volume, both of which were easily heard across the street. According to SideBar's website, "The energy level ramps up towards 11 pm to closing." That's nice, I guess, for the 20-somethings but less so if you're a grown-up in Key West to relax for a few days away from the office. Next time, we would definitely consider Duval Inn but would ask for a more secluded room to avoid SideBar.

We stayed 2nights here. The room ( The Key West room) was beautiful, with a king sized bed, and upstairs with a nice little balcony. The grounds were spotless, and Natalie was very helpful with any questions we had. We parked around the corner (free with the room, but space is limited) and never used the car while we were there. We rented bikes, or walked everywhere. The location was perfect, in that it was very close to Duval Street (50 feet, maybe) but just far enough to stay nice and quiet when the nightlife kicked in. I would highly recommend this charming little Bed and Breakfast!
