We stayed here over the weekend prior to July 4th. We had no problem securing one of the free parking spots out front and since this hotel is within walking distance to many attractions (Mallory Square, Hemingway way, Truman White House, southernmost point), we didn't move it until we left to head back to Miami. The hotel staff was friendly...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Visited here a couple of years ago. Only a ten minute walk to Duval where all the action is. This hotel is located on a quiet street. Lovely clean room although a little small. Owners friendly and helpful. Had to borrow a hairdryer - no problem at all and no cost. Pool...

Stayed here on a quick business trip to key west. Room was rather small but decorated nicely. Pool was nice plenty of chairs. Hotel was quiet and peaceful on our stay. Free breakfast was really great, lots to choose from. Staff was excellent. I broke my phone charger while I was there and had no way of charging my phone....

The hotel was very homey and quiet. It wasn't too close to the hustle and bustle of Duval St. but also not too far away. The room had plenty of amenities including kitchenette. The shower was very small. The pool area was nice.

I booked the Palms because of the price and because I liked the idea of a historic Key West hotel with character; not just another chain that's always the same. I was not disappointed by this hotel in any way. The room was small, yet clean. The staff was very friendly. There is a nice pool that's open late, with...

Although the people there were very nice, there were many downsides to our stay! Absolutely no available parking had us walking several blocks to the hotel every night. The rooms were HORRIBLE the doors you could see through, foggy glass & some trashy shades. The bed was hard as a rock & there were tiny ants in the bathroom! Also...

Downsides for me: Shower was as small or smaller than on a cruise ship, no hair dryer, no room darkening window treatments for the french doors. Lots of smokers by and in the pool and one young gal dipped her little dog in the pool because "he was hot." The guests were mixed; some w/ class, some not so much....

My son and I planned a dive trip to Key Largo and midway through the trip we decided to go to Key West. We called The Palms Hotel after searching on Tripadvisor and reading a few reviews. From the start the staff was great. The facility is exactly as you see on line. It is historic and has character. It...

We just left The Palms after a week stay. We had many friends and family staying there for my sisters wedding. The friends and family who are more comfortable with a traditional hotel experience stayed at one of the larger chain hotels, but those of us who like quaint and character stayed here and were very happy. We stayed with...

My husband and I stayed at the Palms 2 nights. The hotel is adorable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no problem parking our rental behind the hotel on the morning we checked in, but did notice the lot to fill up and stay full for the remainder of our stay. We had no trouble...
