I feel that the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The location was very accessible and an easy walk to wherever we wanted to go. The pool was private and the seating area was relaxing. They offered complimentary water and soda as well.
What a wonderful place to stay in Key West! We were so happy with our short, 3-day stay at Marero's. Everyone we dealt with -- Cassidy, Laura, and Kait -- were great. So helpful with tips of what to see and do. The late afternoon happy hour was fun! The room was small but very nice. The pool is AWESOME. The property is in a perfect location near Duval. If we ever go back to Key West, we will definitely stay at Marero's again.
Loved sitting on the deck after a nice refreshing dip in the pool. Happy hour was great allowing us to meet people from different parts of the country. Morning breakfast was a great way to start the day off. Bed was terrific.
Nice place, clean and comfortable. Great Location. Short walk to wherever you wanted to go. Staff was so nice and helpful. We enjoyed Happy Hour and the included breakfast treats. We would definitely stay here again.
Laura the mansion hostess is so welcoming and didn’t mind explaining the keys twice to my vacation brain to make sure I knew how to get around. I felt safe with a front door code. Awesome location- walked to everything from the BnB. Awesome private oasis of a pool covered in palm trees. Room was clean - comfortable and whimsical- love the colors. I will be back. Breakfast was limited but definitely enough. Happy hour was fun 🤩 perfect stay. Truly enjoyable! From La La‘s
A delightful room and guest house decorated beautifully. The swimming pool was lovely, with easy access to complimentary soda and coffee. A perfect base for a couple to go adventuring around Key West from. We will definitely return to this cozy place a short ten minute walk from the hub of activity in Key West. 10 minutes walk to Mallory square, and stones throw distance from Duval St. an added bonus being that the Interstate 1 mile marker zero is about 20 yards away.
We had an amazing stay at Marrero’s Guest House in Key West! The location was fantastic. The charm and beauty of the the home was outstanding. Everyone at guest services were polite and kind and eager to help with any need. Our room was clean, beautiful and extremely comfortable. I would stay here every single visit!!!
We’ve stayed a few times and while it’s a cute property the new owners have raised the rates up to 40% more per night. Sorry but some paint, wallpaper and fresh decor isn’t worth it. Along with the increase in room rates I wouldn’t be surprised if there will be a fee for internet access, coffee, water. Being one block off Duval isn’t worth it for me.
LOVED Marrero's!!!!! Beautiful home, friendly staff, unique and clean rooms, comfortable, enjoyed light breakfast bar and cocktails, loved that it was adults only, pretty courtyard, and best of all the balconies and porches! Great location! Easy walk to attractions and dining! Historic and unique decor! We loved learning the history of the home and seeing the ghost tour busses stop out front each night! We celebrated 20 year anniversary and retirement! Thank you Marrero's staff and owners for providing a beautiful experience for our special occasion! We will be back!!
We were able to get reservations here for two nights to visit friends vacationing in KW. They stayed in a high-end "suite" but spent their free time at Marrero's with us! The hosts could not be more accommodating. We arrived before check-in hour but were able to leave our luggage in their lock-up and also on our day of departure. The room was clean and well appointed (we had the smallest they offer and one of two rooms that share a bath). I thought sharing a bath might be an issue, but it wasn't at all. The continental breakfast was amazing! Everything from bagels and yogurt to waffles and French toast. For those who prefer more protein, they offered small pieces of salami, ham and cheeses, and fresh cut mixed fruit. Coffee and teas are available on the front porch where small tables were for dining or just enjoying the weather. We didn't need to rent a car or golf cart; everything we wanted to see/visit in Old City was in walking distance. Would definitely book here again on our next visit to KW.…
