I would give this place 4.5 stars, but since that isn't an option, I will give it 5. The location is great. You can walk pretty much everywhere you want to go. The guaranteed parking is also a plus. It is about a block away across Duval Street with a unloading/loading zone right in front of the door so you can drop off you luggage before you park. All the rooms are a little different (I think). To get to our room on the second floor you had to go up the stairs, through the pool area and then into another room area. it seemed odd at first, but once we got used to it, it was nothing. The room was very clean. The bathroom and shower was a bit on the small size, but really not a problem. I was surprised how quiet it was - being so close to Duval Street. We are not late night people and we couldn't really hear much after 11. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine. It didn't have much, but it was just fine. The bar is only open for Happy Hour and you get a free drink per person. Pretty much it seemed the only people at the bar where the ones using the free drink coupons. If you forget to use your free drink ticket, you didn't miss much. Overall I would recommend this hotel. All the hotels are expensive. So location becomes more important. This is a great location!

We had room 200, right on the corner overlooking Duval street. The room was nice, and comfortable. It is loud, there are several bars and music we could hear into the night. But it was very convenient to stop at the hotel as we walked bar to bar and needed a bathroom stop or to drop off souvenirs.

The rooftop bar and pool were pretty, but the happy hour free drink was only wine or a beer, and the bartender was no where to be found when my wife and I got there.

I would definitely stay here again, but not for small kids or a quiet night.

Booked into the Pegasus for 4 nites. Corner room right on Duval. you have to know that Duval can be noisy at times and we did, so not too big a deal. Just wish "officials" would do something about those small weenie syndrome guys with the loud pipes on their HD's, and no brain morons with music blasting so loud that it will make your ears bleed if you are standing on the sidewalk. But thats no fault of the Pegasus. Other wise the location is very good, with so much right our your door. Room had plenty of space, the wifi in the room was so weak that it was not usable. Sure looked like the antenna was missing form the router in the hallway, all they did was to first option...reset your equipment, then they tried resetting the router. Point is that there was not much of a attempt, kind of "oh well". Room,s clean enough, and could get towels/housekeeping by asking before 12 noon. Didn't like that there were no pool towels, and the bar was closed. Should update their web site to add this accurate facts. We moved on from the Pegasus to another location, and my fault, left some articles behind. They have no lost and found, say they through everything out. The people working there are great, and friendly. Prices are what you would expect by comparison, as rental prices have skyrocketed. Bottom line, we would return.

This place was ridiculous. Booked a 2 queen room that was two full beds pushed against queen headboards. Could barely turn around in the bathroom. “Rooftop bar” was never open despite being advertised as full service. “Breakfast buffet” was cold baked goods and a toaster. We were told housekeeping wouldn’t come to the room unless asked and our room was cleaned without consent during a pandemic. Great location but otherwise not worth the price even remotely when for $50 more a night you could be at the all inclusive on the beach. Very disappointed.

The Pegasus is right off of Duval Street which is both good and bad. Good if you are totally into the night life; bad if you want a good nights sleep and a comfortable experience. The bar next door had live, VERY LOUD music until closing and no sooner did that stop and the roosters started to crow. The rooms are not large and the bathroom very small. A large person would likely not be comfortable. Although remodeled, it appears to have been done "on the cheap". There is a scary flight of stairs but also a small elevator. The continental breakfast was disappointing - soggy pastries, basic juice and cereal, coffee. There is no reception person after 5 pm. The only real positives are 1) the reception person who was there was very pleasant and 2) it is right off Duval street (next door to the Walgreens). There was an additional $25 "resort fee" which is humorous because there really are no resort-like features. I feel we overpaid by at least $150. The rooms definitely were not all occupied ... had I known, I probably would have looked for better pricing right up to the night before. In the future, however, if we return, we now know better about what else is available, including bed and breakfast establishments.

Pegasus International Hotel is a cute, boutique hotel in the heart of Key West. With so many bars and restaurants nearby, you are as close to the action as possible without being overwhelmed by excess noise. The rooms are neat and clean. The beds are super comfortable, too. The shampoo and conditioner is the best smelling product I've ever used. The rooftop pool is such a treat. We were in it at night, swimming under the stars. It's definitely a place to stay when you visit Key West

Because we went on July 4 weekend, it was very expensive for a mediocre experience. The hot water in the (very nice but cramped) shower was barely a trickle with very low water pressure. The pillows were not very comfortable (although each bed had 4) and the staff was polite but not terribly friendly. I would not stay here again. The air conditioner was noisy but it worked OK.

When I first came to the hotel, I said that I made my reservation on booking.com, but they said to me that we do not consider the reservations made there, and they told me to cancel my reservation and proceed directly with them.

So I cancelled my reservation that I booked by the booking.com since their price offer is better than booking.com. Bu I saw the real reasons after that ; this is a hotel that claims to constantly change prices from the first day to the last…

1 day before the check out date, they called me to the reception and said that they had to refund the balance and asked for my credit card.

I was going to the beach too and I don't have my credit card with me and they told me to refund you back from the beach.

When I came back from the beach, they tried to take extra payment from me, claiming that my check-out date, which appears in the system tomorrow, is today. They make me do all the crap they can not pay me my remaining amount of Money and the pricing policy of this hotel is not ethical at all and they are taking action aimed at ripping people off.

Beside this, During my stay at the hotel, the noise was never stop, staffs are not friendly. It was a complete mistake for me to stay in this hotel

The hotel is in the center of Duval, so an excellent location. The hotel offers free parking and we were so close to everything we were able to walk everywhere. The staff from the front desk to maintenance to housekeeping were extremely nice and helpful. They talked to you, gave you ideas of where to go, and regularly asked how your trip was going. The only negative is the hotel walls are thin so you can hear people and music on the street. It wasn’t so loud you couldn’t sleep, but you can definitely hear. I’d recommend anyone to stay here and I’ll be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room we had was adjacent the small pool but was clean and freshly renovated. The front desk person is pretty much the only person we had contact with and she was friendly and informative. This was important as she made sure we were aware of how to unlock the front door, since there is no one there after 6PM and the front door is locked. The hotel is a series of older buildings connected to a larger building and is somewhat maze like if staying in outer rooms. Only two towels in the room and no housekeeping yet due to COVID. We just had to hang our towels, not a big deal. Do not stay here if you want peaceful sleep at night or at least early sleep. Live music from the street till at least 2AM on the weekend. Not so bad during the weeknights though. They have a parking lot for customers about one block's walk away from the hotel, plan accordingly and pack accordingly. Coffee and continental breakfast was OK, but local cafe is next door. If you always wanted to stay on Duval Street this is the place to do it.
