The hotel has an excellent location on Duval street… but the rooms are really really small. It was clean, but the bathroom is more like a powder room with a little shower. The pool is VERY small. 2 lounge chairs, only. NO bar. The vending machine is a crazy story all on its own. The hotel was updated.. I guess. But the prices are ridiculous for what you get. Location was convenient but that’s about all I can say. It served its purpose. But I don’t think we’ll stay here again.

Because we went on July 4 weekend, it was very expensive for a mediocre experience. The hot water in the (very nice but cramped) shower was barely a trickle with very low water pressure. The pillows were not very comfortable (although each bed had 4) and the staff was polite but not terribly friendly. I would not stay here again. The air conditioner was noisy but it worked OK.

My husband and I have been coming here for over 25yrs because of where it is located right on Duvall st. It’s nothing special, simple rooms, cold breakfast and really nice pool area. We had always dealt with the noise and expected it from the street but this year was horrendous. We stayed 3 nights and every night there were vehicles driving up and down the street constantly blaring their stereo so loud it we could feel the room shaking. This started around 10pm to at least 2am. I noticed these two trucks with the under the body lights following each other blaring the music each night. Granted we asked for the room overlooking Duvall, as I said before never had a problem with the noise.

Centrally located but the rest is max 1-2 stars quality, i.e. infrastructure like air conditioning unacceptably loud and on/off, breakfast requires a lot of tolerance, staff unfriendly etc. Price is rather four stars, three of them where not there…

Room was nice enough, if you like noisy. Location is good but we were disappointed with the response of the front desk when we challenged an overcharge on the bill. Got a number to call to resolve and after a week of trying, no response. Thanks for nothing.

When I first came to the hotel, I said that I made my reservation on booking.com, but they said to me that we do not consider the reservations made there, and they told me to cancel my reservation and proceed directly with them. So I cancelled my reservation that I booked by the booking.com since their price offer is better than booking.com. Bu I saw the real reasons after that ; this is a hotel that claims to constantly change prices from the first day to the last… 1 day before the check out date, they called me to the reception and said that they had to refund the balance and asked for my credit card. I was going to the beach too and I don't have my credit card with me and they told me to refund you back from the beach. When I came back from the beach, they tried to take extra payment from me, claiming that my check-out date, which appears in the system tomorrow, is today. They make me do all the crap they can not pay me my remaining amount of Money and the pricing policy of this hotel is not ethical at all and they are taking action aimed at ripping people off. Beside this, During my stay at the hotel, the noise was never stop, staffs are not friendly. It was a complete mistake for me to stay in this hotel

Booked into the Pegasus for 4 nites. Corner room right on Duval. you have to know that Duval can be noisy at times and we did, so not too big a deal. Just wish "officials" would do something about those small weenie syndrome guys with the loud pipes on their HD's, and no brain morons with music blasting so loud that it will make your ears bleed if you are standing on the sidewalk. But thats no fault of the Pegasus. Other wise the location is very good, with so much right our your door. Room had plenty of space, the wifi in the room was so weak that it was not usable. Sure looked like the antenna was missing form the router in the hallway, all they did was to first option...reset your equipment, then they tried resetting the router. Point is that there was not much of a attempt, kind of "oh well". Room,s clean enough, and could get towels/housekeeping by asking before 12 noon. Didn't like that there were no pool towels, and the bar was closed. Should update their web site to add this accurate facts. We moved on from the Pegasus to another location, and my fault, left some articles behind. They have no lost and found, say they through everything out. The people working there are great, and friendly. Prices are what you would expect by comparison, as rental prices have skyrocketed. Bottom line, we would return.

The Pegasus is right off of Duval Street which is both good and bad. Good if you are totally into the night life; bad if you want a good nights sleep and a comfortable experience. The bar next door had live, VERY LOUD music until closing and no sooner did that stop and the roosters started to crow. The rooms are not large and the bathroom very small. A large person would likely not be comfortable. Although remodeled, it appears to have been done "on the cheap". There is a scary flight of stairs but also a small elevator. The continental breakfast was disappointing - soggy pastries, basic juice and cereal, coffee. There is no reception person after 5 pm. The only real positives are 1) the reception person who was there was very pleasant and 2) it is right off Duval street (next door to the Walgreens). There was an additional $25 "resort fee" which is humorous because there really are no resort-like features. I feel we overpaid by at least $150. The rooms definitely were not all occupied ... had I known, I probably would have looked for better pricing right up to the night before. In the future, however, if we return, we now know better about what else is available, including bed and breakfast establishments.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room we had was adjacent the small pool but was clean and freshly renovated. The front desk person is pretty much the only person we had contact with and she was friendly and informative. This was important as she made sure we were aware of how to unlock the front door, since there is no one there after 6PM and the front door is locked. The hotel is a series of older buildings connected to a larger building and is somewhat maze like if staying in outer rooms. Only two towels in the room and no housekeeping yet due to COVID. We just had to hang our towels, not a big deal. Do not stay here if you want peaceful sleep at night or at least early sleep. Live music from the street till at least 2AM on the weekend. Not so bad during the weeknights though. They have a parking lot for customers about one block's walk away from the hotel, plan accordingly and pack accordingly. Coffee and continental breakfast was OK, but local cafe is next door. If you always wanted to stay on Duval Street this is the place to do it.

My wife & I stayed for 5 nights. The location was great for the activities we had. The hotel was very clean. We had a great room on the 3rd floor overlooking Duval & Southard. This hotel is in the perfect location! Walgreens, Mr. Z's downstairs, and Willie T's next door. The heated pool and hot tub at the hotel was clean and relaxing! The staff is always friendly! Overall we had a great time. Safe, clean, fun hotel. We will be back soon!
