#45 of 51 hotels in Key West
Ibis Bay is exactly what you dream of when you imagine Key West. It's a friendly, quirky resort with design and colors inspired by 1950s Havana. The landscaped white sand beach leads right up to the beachfront guest rooms, and guests can jump right into the beautiful bay for swimming, snorkeling and take jet skis, kayaks or paddle boards right from our dock! The staff are all Key West locals who love the island and want our guests to enjoy their stay. We have exclusive attractions like our poolside Dive-In Movies every Wednesday night on a 20ft screen by the pool, plus Nightboarding nightime LED-lit paddleboarding and kayaking! Wildlife abounds on our grounds including huge tortoises, lots of large colorful parrots, local iguanas (don't touch!) and our namesake, the very pretty ibis birds. In the mood for some fun? Ask our Fun Desk concierge about our jet ski, scooter and electric car rentals on site plus paddle board, kayaks and kiteboard rentals on the beach. They can also recommend off-site activities, restaurants, tours and local attractions. We have 80 hammocks for lazing about, and an amazing restaurant called The Stoned Crab that has two of its very own fishing boats delivering fresh crab, shrimp, lobster and fish every day! What are you waiting for?

Omg the retro theme, the “life is short bus,” the drinks and the hammocks. This place is so adorable! I love it. Definitely will be coming back in the future. They even have shark feedings which was so much fun for the kids.

Door lock is just a key, Cannot be unlocked and hard to use. We had a baby crab in our room about 1 inch wide, Unsure how it got in. I was fun but made us wonder what else was in the room. No closet and very small bathroom.

When you can't breathe because the mold is so bad... but they tell you everything is moldy so you might as well stay in the same room. Filthy shower No water pressure Filthy pool with an old guy in underwear in a "worked up state" 2nd day home, still have a mold headache. Doctor appointment Monday to see if there will be residual health issues.

RUDE, UNETHICAL and DIRTY RESORT. We had to leave Florida a day early due to the Global Covid-19 pandemic as the state was literally shutting down-beaches, restaurants were closing. My husband had to get back for his job that was essential. We asked the resort for a one night credit for the two rooms we had booked , but they were unwilling. I called Expedia to get my money back but the resort lied to them and told them we never left early even though we had our flight itinerary proving we flew home a day early. The Owner won't even call me back. I was willing to forget about the dirty room conditions and the HUGE brown/red stain on my daughter's bed sheets (I had called 2 days asking for new sheets and they ignored it). During a crisis where health and safety are concerns this resort was very rude. WILL NEVER GO BACK. T Peterson

Stayed just 1 night. Small resort right at beginning of Key West. We had a small upstairs room in the back. It was very small with beach decor. Continental breakfast included and was better than most we've had. What is an added plus was the resorts own shuttle bus that arrives every hour to take you to the center (old town, Duval street) . Last shuttle of the day is at 10:00pm. Pool was nice. This hotel is an older resort with a with a small sandy shore in a bay. Has a Key West vibe. But our room was too small, with a small prefab stall shower. There are larger($$$) rooms with views, but our rate was high enough. Staff can be more friendly.
