The room was very nice and the location was great. When we got to our room I was very happy with the size, view, layout and cleanliness. We were quite surprised to see there was a half full water bottle by the coffee machine. Based on the rest of the room I hope it was just missed but for the cost of the room and with COVID it was concerning. The cafe that was next door (we had a beach view in building C) was really good and there was a Starbucks attached. The staff were all so friendly (checking in/Concierge/Bartenders) and the location was perfect for walking Duval Street and exploring.
The location is great, but this place is not worth the money. First they claim that there are two beaches, which is really only two fenced areas that looks over to the water. There is no shore, so technically that's false advertising. The public beach is next door, which isn't great either. It was great to be by the pool, but it was a constant frat party that wasn't regulated by the staff at all, so it was always super loud. The guests above us were CONSTANTLY loud, banging around and blaring music ALL night. I went to call the front desk to see if they could be quieted down, and turns out, the phone in our room didn't work. What a coincidence. I had to walk to the front desk, which wasn't a close walk from our room to get help. They eventually moved our room, and that phone didnt work either, so if we had another problem, we were essentially SOL. To say i'd like a refund for the amount of money spent would be an understatement.…
First the pros. Staff was nice. Hotel location is great from southernmost picture spot. Cons, should not be considered resort. Since there was a 45 per night fee we thought there would be at least a few amenities we could use. However there were zero amenities unless the pool is considered one. However no room service, housekeeping, or even offering clean towels although we stayed 4 nights. Asked for clean towels at lobby after 3rd night and told to come back to lobby in two hours. I understand Covid brings some adjustments but we have received more amenities and basic service from regular hotels during these times with no resort fees. Pool and beach area are nice but mainly for adults drinking to the loud music. I believe this hotel should be on the 200-225 price range as there isn't anything memorable that would want to keep people coming back. Maybe just disclosing that there is zero service being offered before arrival would allow people to have better expectations.…
Had to modify our Florida beach vacation in Sanibel Island after finding out the red tide was there upon arriving. Quickly pivoted to a drive to Key West. Best decision ever! This resort was awesome. Clean, comfortable beds, great location, awesome pools and live music, own private beach with restaurant/bar. We will stay here every time we come back. Highly recommend renting a motorized scooter! Also... go to Garbo’s for tacos and Schooners Wharf for drinks.
Arrived here Saturday for a four night stay. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. Returned because we like the location, however we regret returning. We are more than understanding of new protocols due to COVID and have no issue with house keeping only upon request. Our 2nd night we spilled our dinner on the bed, called front desk and asked if we could get linens changed. They informed us that they require 24 hour notice but will try. Came back to room after being gone all day and they did not replace the linens. When paying over $500 a night, it is not too much to expect to get clean linens on the bed the same day requested when we called at 9am. We have spilled food on the bed and they won’t replace our linens the same day?! After another full day we spoke with manager and came back to clean linens. This was after I offered to make the bed myself if they would just provided the linens.…
