Check in was super easy. We were greeted with smiling faces and even offered a cold beer. At check in, our credit card wouldn't go through; we were told no problem come back later, which was nice instead of making us feel like criminals like some places do when a card won't go though; we went back next morning and all went through just fine. Since it was out first time, Mia showed us around before sending us to our room. Upon entering room, it was clean, cool and had a lot of character. We were in room 21 which overlooked the breakfast area. Daily breakfast was perfect way to start the day, the waffles are huge, and the parfaits YUM YUM!! Daily housekeeping wasn't provided daily due to Covid, but that was fine by us. Exchanging towels was easy. The showers had dispensers with soap, conditioner and shampoo. No need to bring your own. In the lobby there's a table where guests leave sunscreen and other personal items to pass along to future guests, which is so nice, instead of just throwing it away before flying home. They even have coolers you can borrow. The pool area was nice, however the pool could have been cleaned a bit better. I'll definitely be back. Everyone treated you like family.

Many of the B&B's on the island have bars and restaurants attached to them. One of the best things about Duval House is that it does not have either. When you are here you are in a private oasis that is void of tourists; it is just you, a few guests, lush gardens and quiet. The Inn is centrally located on the best street in Key West, easy to walk to everything, and when you step off Duval Street you feel very secluded from the hustle and bustle of Old Towne Key West. The historic buildings and grounds are well maintained and the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is apparent that the owners have made updates to the buildings, rooms and landscaping and take pride in their property. The complimentary breakfast was hearty enough and a great way to start the day. The resident cat, Kiss Kiss, sat on our porch with us at night and checked in on the guests and grounds throughout our stay. I have stayed at several of the Inns on the island over the years and this was my first time at Duval and it won't be my last...this Inn does not disappoint!

If your having any second thoughts about this property DON"T. Excellent views, great location, service second to none and just a quite relaxing place. I had the chance to meet Eric mostly who went above and beyond my expectations with his helpfulness and excitement about his duties. If ever in Key West again, I promise this will be my landing spot. GREAT job everyone.

This is a little slice of heaven and calm in a bustling town! Everything about our stay was wonderful. Walking into the property it's an oasis..... beautiful gardens, chickens, calming pool....My 18 yo son and I stayed an room 24 was perfect...plenty of space and on the inside courtyard. Loved chilling on the little porch outside our room, day or magically lit at night. Although we were transported from the bustle a few feet away, this property is SO conveniently located.... EVERYTHING is about a 15 min walk, be it Mallary Square or the Southermost point. Walked for sunrise on the Atlanic then sunset on the Gulf! If walking is not your thing, there are bikes, but grab one early. Easy parking as we had a car (that we never used once we arrived). Room had a mini fridge, which we appreciated. Front office crew are very accommodating and went out of their way to fulfill a request. Breakfast was YUM....Susan & team welcoming & friendly and yes the waffles are great, but don't pass up my fave the fresh yogurt parfait!
