Overall the trip was good, close to Southernmost Point, need a bike to get around, bike rental across the street was great. We initially booked our anniversary stay at the sister property, Casa Marina, but after the reviews about the construction we swapped hotels, which I am glad we did. I contacted the Reach to ask about a Diamond upgrade, which they moved me one level up, even though nicer rooms were available, but would have an up charge, even though management said they’d probably not sell out. Our room was closer to the rear of the property, so be careful for the 0530-0600 wake-up from the roosters, which I had forgotten about from my previous visit. The room was nice, AC and fans worked well. The staff was nice, the pool staff were excellent. The pool is a nice size, not huge but very nice. The beach is great, plenty of chairs and umbrellas, no extra cost other than tips for staff. Steve was awesome! The use of the pool is a concern, there were 8-10 couples that were not staying at the resort, who were all commenting to others how they rent a house and just come to the Reach for the hotel and beach, and how they e been doing it for years. Food isn’t cheap but good, breakfast was really good. Chicken Caesar at the pool was $32 with tax and tip. Valet for $40/day plus a $3 daily tax is ridiculous. Overall I’d stay again, but shop Priceline and other apps to get lowest price, I wouldn’t pay more than $450-500 a night for this hotel. …

The staff at the Reach Hotel are the friendliest in the business, we absolutely loved our stay and will be back soon. We came down for a few days with some great friends and we loved the new renovated rooms which were extremely comfortable and nicely appointed.

Love this hotel. Poolside service, beachside service lots of games like cornholes, chess, and jenga. The pool seemed small at first but honestly wasn’t crazy packed. Really loved the pier especially at night. We stayed at casa marina 1 night and the construction was so bad we switched hotels to the reach thanksgiving week and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend especially for families, we went as a couple but very family friendly

This is a family getaway for thanksgiving and my brother in law booked this resort as he accumulated points. Therefore we decided to book the same to be near. Originally booked two nights at $400 per night with room near the rest of the family.Then decided to increase to 3 nights. First it was going to cost an extra $800 and they couldn't guarantee the same room for the extra night. After being on to their call center, somewhere abroad, for 45 minutes it was arranged to have the same room for the 3 nights. We checked 3 weeks ago to ensure room near family and that we would have the same room for 3 nights. The hotel said OK and for some reason stated that we asked for a disabled access room. No thanks we don't need one On arrival we got a disabled room about a 5 minute walk from the other family members!!! If you speak Spanish checking in won't be an issue. My wife recently had a total knee and we hired a gold cart to get around so now we have to pay valet parking $20+ per night on top of $1600 for the stay. Then found the a/c filter very dirty. How? The AC door was ajar. Also the clothes rail in the closet about 3 ft off the floor due to being a disabled access room and my wife couldn't hang her dresses. Stains on the bath robe. Last time we visit this overpriced, nickel and dime establishment.…

We take an annual trip to Key West and we have stayed at The Reach for the past three years. The service and staff are fantastic, the views and private beach are beautiful. We love the location it’s quiet but only 3 blocks from Duval, easy walking to local restaurants and attractions. Our concern is how worn the hotel is/has become. Elevator closest to our room didn’t work during our week long visit, holes in our bedding, shower door hinges rusted and is difficult to open, the room doors and drawers make loud noises when used. Our fear is with the investment/major renovation of their sister property next door this property will not improve but continue to deteriorate.

A beautiful hotel located near the central business district and walking distance to many attractions. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Valet parking is required and costs $40/night. Be aware THERE IS NOT SELF PARK!

The potential is there. I stayed for 4 nights. No hot water for 2 nights, a thermostat that would allow the room to be 60 or 80 for 2 nights, a panel hanging down in the bathroom, no towel rack in the room, one picture on mostly bare walls and not enough light. Seemingly an unfinished room. Outside, we could lie by the pool and listen to the sweet sound of construction (nail guns, compressors and boards banging). That view of the beach on the website - nonexistent, and blocked by a fence. All of this for the low, low price of $500/night!! Spent $2000, they credited me $200 for the subpar experience. Should have credited far more….Poor value!! On a positive note, very friendly staff. Total rip-off experience though!! The hotel should say that you will be vacationing in a construction zone.…

My husband and I are loyal Hilton customers. We were a little wary booking our stay at The Reach based on reading some of the reviews from the past couple years. HOWEVER we are so glad we did! From the welcoming text messages and the friendly valet service to the bar/restaurant/pool/beach service, we had an amazing visit. Valet parking and resort fees were communicated well and our daily food & beverage credit was a nice offset. We were treated well by all staff. The eggs benedict and crab cakes were two of favorites. We only ate breakfast and lunch on-site. The Four Marlins restaurant serves all drinks and meals and is gorgeously designed. We’ll have totry dinner there another stay. This hotel is located perfectly because you have the quiet oceanfront location and are a short walk from the stops of the Duval Loop (the free air-conditioned bus that circles Duval Street). For improvements, I would suggest to management some small maintenance to rooms (like a missing piece of baseboard in the bathroom and a crack in the ceiling above the curtain). These are very minor and would not prevent us from staying there again. This was our 5th time visiting Key West and The Reach (along with their staff) helped make it one of the best so far!…

Absolute worst hotel!!! Staff is rude. They lied about getting my infant a crib. I waited two hours, while "they were getting it from their other Hilton location." Rooms are dirty. My toilet has not stop running. There's no hot water. Keurig doesn't work to get my infant a bottle. DON'T waste money on this hotel. As a Hilton's rewards member, such a disappointment.
