It was our first time in Key West and We were shocked how nice the staff could be! We visited 3 hotels in Florida before We came here and it was the best service in Silver Palms Inn. Especially Mr. Peter (Polish) made our stay unforgettable! Because of him we will recommend this hotel to all of our friends ! I wish Mr Peter worked in every hotel I visit and I hope he will get promoted! Definately would come here again :)
The Silver Palms inn in Key West is within walking distance to most Key West attractions. It’s about a five minute walk to Duval Street. The hotel also has plenty of free parking spaces some of which are covered. The three level building is centered around a nice pool area. The hotel also offers a better than normal free continental breakfast. We stayed in room 224 which had a comfortable king bed, a separate sitting area with a separate tv and a small outside patio area. The room had a nice shower, fridge, robes and safe. The air unit did struggle a little in keeping the room cool. Overall a great stay in a very convenient location.
Reasonable rates,Clean rooms very quiet and very friendly! Close to restaurants and shopping on Duvall St. surprising gem. Would highly recommend. Has free breakfast nice pool area too. Will stay here again.
We were over the moon with this Hotel, having waited over 2 years for our holiday due to the Pandemic they honoured our booking to the full. Fantastic location staff made us feel like we were Family if we could we would return tomorrow but sadly that cannot happen but if we are in a position to return we will.
I really liked this hotel. It was close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was limited but they had an omelet bar by the pool every morning. Decaf and regular coffee. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Staff was very friendly. The pool and pool lounge chairs were nice also with big umbrellas for shade from the heat. Gulf cart rental down the street between hotel and Duval street.
This is definitely a place I would come back if only to have a great base in order to see this wonder of a city called Key West. One thing they need to improve is the Breakfast. This was dismal and I almost laugh out loud when it was handed to me. The swimming pool is way too small for the number of guests.
We wanted a hotel within walking distance of all major Key West sites that also had a decent pool. Silver Palms fit the bill and was very competitively priced with similar hotels in that area. The hotel was large enough to have good amenities. The pool wasn’t huge but was nice with a decent pool deck, enough chairs and umbrellas. The hotel was small enough so there weren’t a bajillion people there. Even when they were at capacity it didn’t feel packed and we always found room at the pool. The included breakfast (continental and omelette station) was a great to have. The people staffing it were very good. The best thing about our stay was the staff. Everybody working there really seemed to take pride in their job. Everything was always clean and consistently being wiped down. Staff was extremely attentive, polite, and professional. From calling to make reservations/changes to reservation to holding luggage and having our room ready early, to quickly supplying us with extra towels, toiletries, etc. Again big enough staff to get things done quickly but small enough to have that attention to detail and personal feel. Mey, I believe the general manager, was extremely engaging and seemed to take a very active role and took time to speak with guests. Location was ideal. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend.…
Staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Location was great! We either walked everywhere, or rode the bikes you can rent from the hotel. We did not use the pool, no reason other than we were busy exploring the city. We only saw the tiki bar open once, but did not get any drinks from it. I am not sure what the hours were of it. Breakfast was very modified due to Covid. I am not sure what their normal breakfast is, but I wish there were more options than cold cereal, bagels and bananas. Parking was great, right under the hotel. Would stay here again.
I’ve been to Key West many times and this hotel is my favorite. It’s super conveniently located close to the heart of Key West…but not too close if you know what I mean. The night life on Duval can get pretty loud:-) The accomodations are super comfortable and clean and the staff is wonderful. Also very reasonably priced. Check it out!
After having my original reservation at another hotel cancelled because there were 3 of us and they wouldn’t let 3 stay in a room, we found this hotel after some searching. We got lucky. From the front desk staff to housekeeping, the staff was really wonderful. We enjoyed it so much, we booked a second night. Really, who has fresh coffee 24 hours a day (emphasis on fresh). After the nightmare of trying to find something at 8 at night, this place was a real haven. We highly recommend Silver Palms. Another plus- free parking.
