We have stayed at many B&B's in Key West and this was the best ever. The staff when out of thier way to make us feel comfortable, the grounds and our room was far above any expectation and the breakfast served poolside was perfect.
This is now our go to in Key West.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at The Conch House in the Frangipani Room. I second all the positive comments in other reviews. While most of the guests here seem to be couples, we had a perfect girls’ trip and the double sinks + separate shower in our room were perfect for giving the two of us plenty room to get ready without being in each other’s way. The king bed was so huge it may as well have been two beds. We had more than enough space in this room and especially loved the doors that open onto the porch to get some fresh air in the room. Everything was very private as the place was booked up for our entire stay and we rarely encountered any other guests by either seeing or hearing them.

From the wonderful breakfasts to the white noise machine in the room, they’ve thought of everything here. I struggle to come up with anything they could improve as it was a pretty perfect stay and also among the more reasonably priced options at least during the New Year’s holiday. We were walking distance to everything and staff were all so sweet. One thing I wanted to note as well is while they did offer complimentary mimosas I had noticed other reviews mentioned a happy hour that I don’t think they do anymore.

Do yourself a favor and stay here! Wonderful wonderful experience. I was pretty much ready to leave Key West after three days of sightseeing but I could stay at The Conch House forever.

We stayed here a week in the Bocca room. For us it was a relaxing and safe place to stay in the pandemic. Because I have cancer we needed a small place that was easy to social distance at. We always wore masks in public areas as did the staff. Some guests did not. However compliance is not great overall in Key West by visitors. We were just sure to social distance from those who didn’t.

Housekeeping only came in per our request to exchange towels and collect trash. Breakfast while not gourmet was good and varied just a little daily. Location was wonderful. We were able to walk to dinner several times, to 2 boat activities and left the car parked some of the time. Due to my concerns we avoided duval, bars and did only outdoor dining but it did not detract from a relaxed stay. With a nice size compact fridge we did grocery pick up in Miami before our drive thru the keys and got snacks and drinks for our stay. The pool area was very refreshing and when no other guests were using it we were able to enjoy it like a private pool. The noise from the street was drown out by our sound machine. I noted that they also provided one.

The Booca room was very comfortable with a loveseat, walk in closet for all our things and desk. The bathroom while small met our needs with plenty of hot water for the shower. I did find the bed a little hard.

All the staff were friendly. We loved our home away from home!

The Conch Inn is a quaint B and B with a great location in the Old Town section with short walks to Duval Street, Mallory Square and the very old and unique cemetery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with quiche and some of the best granola we ever tasted. Our room, the Hemingway, was nicely appointed but a strong word to the wise. As first-timers to Key West we were unaware that Truman Avenue is a major road through Key West and the road noise even on a two lane street was terrible. Even worse was an air conditioning unit or condenser or something directly outside our bedroom window that went on and off very loudly all night long. We could not even enjoy some cool nighttime air as we had to keep the windows shut if we wanted to sleep. Even with windows shut that fan unit and road noise was very disturbing.

We spent a week in Key West , lodging at the Conch House Heritage In. Our room, the Frangipani, was spacious and well appointed. The king bed was comfortable and the large bathroom with tub was a big plus.
Included breakfast each morning consisted of fresh baked warm muffins and other fresh pastries, juices, yogurt, toast, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cereal and quiche. My wife and I used the poolside covered porch for breakfast, and also spent evening time on one of the other comfortable porches... people watching in Key West never gets old!
We also enjoyed conversing with Hillary, the manager in charge during our stay. She was a delightful resource who helped us with info about the attractions and restaurants in her home city(all of which were easily walkable from the Conch House)It should also be noted that the free Duval Loop bus stop is only one short block away. We used this bus when our feet demanded that we take a break from the city sidewalks.
Many pros and only one con regarding our stay at the Conch House... the road noise from Truman made our first night sleeping quite an adventure. But we adjusted quickly, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at this beautiful inn.

We really lucked out finding this gem in the midst of the commercialization of Key West. A genuine welcome and lovely environment made our wedding anniversary weekend a delight. Hillary is a breath of fresh air each morning with the breakfast tray outside next to the pool. She has great suggestions for where the locals go and helped us feel so special. Carol’s sense of humor and helpful directions started our journey on the right foot. See if you can get the Delaney room for a special treat! We will be back!

This was our second stay at the Conch House, and we loved it. Convenient to everything Key West has to offer, they server a wonder full array of fruits, eggs and other delicious breakfast foods. They now have a cash bar and the prices are reasonable.

We stayed in the smaller building next to the Inn. All 3 of their buildings were well maintained and clean and Lynn at the front desk was friendly and helpful. A continental breakfast was small and served to you on one plate on the porch or by the pool. It did not fill you up so we were soon looking for lunch. Tea was out all day in the common area, coffee you could make with a Keurig in your room. No snacks, sweets or a glass of wine at 5:00 as we often found in our extensive travels. They even run a cash bar in the main house. These 3 were our only overnights in Key West so maybe this is normal for the other inns there but it is quite pricey. The restaurants in and around nearby Duval Street though seemed reasonable.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at The Conch House Heritage Inn. We are very happy to hear that you found our dedication to cleanliness and maintenance worthy of a positive mention as well as Miss Lynn! We strive very hard to give our guests a great experience. Paradise in March is the most expensive time to visit - the summer and fall months do offer some reprieve in price. Again, we thank you for choosing The Conch House.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the cozy, Delaney Suite. From the impeccable cleanliness, delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed and a fully stocked kitchen, we felt like we were on a tropical vacation even though the west coast of Florida is our home. Thank you Hillary, Rebecca and all of the remaining staff who we know help keep the Conch House a desirable destination in Key West!

Location was the highlight of this stay. Near Duval, a CVS, the train tours, and rentals. The bed was very small so we didn’t sleep well here. I’m 5’9 140 lbs and he’s 5’11 190 lbs for a reference. We barely fit in the bed together and it was difficult maneuvering around the room as everything was very close together. The breakfast was muffins and other pastries with a couple pieces of fruit. The staff were nice and we would possibly book here again, but not the Casa Cabana room. Everything was clean and I felt safe with the security camera’s and high fence. If you’re mostly going to be out and about like we were, maybe the tightness of space won’t bother you. For almost $500/night though, we want to be able to get a good nights rest… which proved impossible here.

We truly regret that these guests did not have an enjoyable stay with us as that is our number one goal. However we also believe that it could have been easily remedied had they read the room description when reserving their room via an online reservation. They chose the Casa Cabana which clearly indicates a full/double size bed in the room. This is the only room with this smaller bed size as all others have either a queen or king sized bed. Without meaning to be too critical we also think important to note that these guests were almost considered a "no-show", as we had not heard from them on the day of their check-in prior to our office closing for the day. We send two notifications to all of our guests prior to check-in noting the following: confirming the reservation dates, room choice, and also indicating that you must contact us if arriving after 6:00pm. These guests never contacted us nor did they respond to our numerous phone calls and texts the day of check-in. Finally, two hours after closing they did contact us thru our emergency phone number asking if they could check-in which we kindly walked them thru and they were very grateful. Upon further inquiry the next morning, we asked if they had received our emails regrading reservation confirmation and arrivals after 6:00pm; the response from the companion traveler of this reviewer was "yeah, we probably recevied but never read them." Again, our sincere regrets these guests were not able to "get a good night's rest" but we are happy they were pleased with our cleanliness, the hospitality of our staff and that they felt safe.

Sincere apologies for the delay in answering your question. We do have off the street parking - however generally only one parking space avaialble(vehicle) per room reserved, due to the limited space. But we can always check the week of a reservation to determine if we could possibly make it work for both a car and small trailer!

Santiago's is a nice local place and not too far to walk. The history of the place is interesting as well but reservations are needed. The Inn staff are very helpful and ask your preferences. Blue Heaven is the most popular tourist spot but very over rated.
