We have stayed in the Marquesa three times. It embodies the essence of what we love about Key West and boutique hotels. It's small and luxurious with beautiful old-fashioned Key West architecture; gorgeous landscaping, enticing courtyard pools, and lovely comfortable rooms designed with a local flavor (ceiling fans, hardwood pine floors, original art, spacious bathrooms with cool green marble floors)....

This hotel is only a block away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street, yet it is a quiet and relaxing oasis in the midst of the chaos. It is also near many quality restaurants. If you are looking for a party, go elsewhere. If you are looking for quality, this is the place.

Fabulous trip from the minute we booked it, to every extra detail and meal reservation made by Bruce (so great!)... to check-out! Loved our room - #16 in the main house. Worked great for a family of 4 with older teen boys. Loved having breakfast by the pool and being so close to everything. Loved hopping on a bike and...

The hotel facility is very nice;well constructed main building, pretty pool area, parking access, close to Duval street, looks great in photos. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated on a corner so the traffic is loud even at night. At reception, we had to wait 15 minutes for the desk guy to lavishly explain the location of every good restaurant in...

Not sure you can do better in Key West. The Marquesa was a cozy hotel with outstanding service and top notch accommodations. Great for couples who want a romantic, private oasis in the center of old Key West just off Duval. Close to all major attractions. Highly recommend!

We stayed here the week between Christmas and New Years and we couldn't have been happier. The property is stunning - so very well maintained. The rooms are spotless- and the nightly turndown service is such a nice touch. All of the staff are so kind and helpful. We received a tour of the property upon check-in and complementary glasses...

We were here over the holidays with three 14+ years teens. It looks charming from the street, but the beautiful courtyard also provides a quiet oasis away from the crowds on Duval Street. We had 2 suites to accommodate our family. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable--a king bed plus a pull out in the sitting area. We enjoyed...

Interesting hotel. The day manager was very helpful and friendly but the night manager was an crabby old grouch. At these prices I would expect much better. I have travelled the world I would rate this hotel 3 star. They serve Bigelow tea; you have to be kidding this is the cheapest worst tea in the world. Why not treat...

The staff at the Marquesa are so friendly and caring! We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the hotel's front doors. It's a beautifully restored building -- very elegant and comfortable, without feeling at all stuffy. The pool area is quiet, very nicely landscaped, and well cared for. It's a great place to relax. Our room (19) was...
