We tied up at the fuel dock for the weekend. Shane, Mike and Skyler were very helpful and polite. Kara pours a mean drink at the pool bar. The pool is warm and clean. The laundry was in working order.
I didn’t want to write this review….and I rarely ever write reviews (good ones that is)….selfishly I want to keep the amazingness of this hotel all to myself. But, I can’t. It would do it an injustice. Staying at The Perry Hotel & Marina Key West is the absolute, best decision you can make on where to stay anywhere in the Keys! This is our 3rd (we stay 5-6 nights) year in a row staying and every year it just seems to get better and better! From the moment you walk through the doors of this hotel you will be blown away! The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable! The grounds are lush, tropical and oh so inviting. The amenities are wonderful (pools, shuttle,on sight stores). The restaurants are delicious. And the Marina….it’s the cherry on top! The staff are the heart of this place and are friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and all around good people! It’s an exceptional place that definitely deserves your attention. Once you park at the Hotel…there is really no need to leave. If you are planning to bring down your boat…this is perfect! We struggled for a long time to find a nice place to stay with a Marina and big am I happy we have found this place! You will not be disappointed! The caliber of service is better then what I have received at, what some would consider, “high end” hotels (hears looking at you J.W. Marriott). You will enjoy your stay, you will want to come back…and you will most likely see me there at one point, if you do, just smile and nod because you’ll know that you’ve now found your favorite new hideaway. …
Great last minute get away to the Keys! I enjoyed the setting on the marina. It was quiet and relaxing. The shuttle to Old Town Key West was convenient. I enjoyed sitting at the outdoor bars adjacent to the pools in the evenings with my Kindle. The coffee shop was also great.
Stayed here for last few days of our annual trip because our usual place in old town was booked/didn’t have full 7 days, and I had heard good reviews for Perry. Hotel looks great at the outset, but after checking in there was long black hair in the bathroom (not mine), sitting room table had something sticky spilled on it. And in the halls it smelled like wet dog, there was clumps of dog hair and large rips in carpet. AC shuts off in the middle of the night if motion sensor isn’t activated. Also multiple things in the room with terrible bright flashing LED lights, ie fire alarm, etc. These things are obviously necessary but were definitely bothersome for sleep, could be modified for better design. The pool was beautiful, but I ended up laying out on my porch cuz most of the chairs down there had towels in them, but often no people in the chair, which is annoying. …
Thank you Gary, Jayme, Mitch, Veronica, and Evan. First Class Service! The location, free transportation, amenities and waterfront were key reasons we selected the Perry. The high awards by trusted reviewers sealed the reservation!
Our stay at the Perry was great! The onsite amenities are well maintained and the shuttle service to/from town is fantastic, especially if you're not renting transportation. Our favorite shuttle driver was Arthur as he was funny and engaged with everyone.
The Perry Hotel is a quiet refuge in Key West with close access to all activities. Staff is wonderful and facilities are great. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool with access to drinks and food is an Oasis. Great value and a relaxing and refreshing place to be.
This place is amazing. Gary greeted us and asked if we wanted a bigger room. It was reasonable for the price to upgrade. Gary smiles everyday, loves his job and was our favorite. Ally from Matt’s restaurant was so sweet. We ate breakfast everyday, had fantastic service. Hannah makes the best margaritas at sloppy joes. We will be back and we look forward to it.
The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. We booked a marina view and never tired of watching boats come and go. The free shuttle to Key West is a great benefit. Pools and restaurants made it easy to spend a relaxing day right on site.
My husband and I made a short trip to the Keys for some warmth and sunshine (mid-west winters are the worst!). This was our first stay at The Perry and it did not disappoint. The people are so friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for; Laid back, relaxing and quiet. The shuttle to downtown was a great amenity. We stayed at the pool all day and took the shuttle to downtown each night for dinner and stroll down Duvall St. You get the best of both worlds this way. Our room was perfect. We upgraded at check-in to a main level room with patio access to the pool. This made it feel less like a hotel room and more like a condo rental. The only thing I would change is the comfort of the pool loungers. It's definitely a minor criticism but for someone who wants to spend all day at the pool, it's worth noting.…
