Nice rooms, enough space, patio, the guest rooms are very recommendable. The checkin was very quick but not a warm welcoming or any empathy. Breakfast was OK, but the service (where the service fee is fix on your check) not attentivr and slow. Bit we enjoyed our stay in the clean rooms. Unfortunately we are still waiting for the release of the reservation fee after a week (and it was all set on checkout).
My siblings and I gathered with some extended family for a bit of a reunion and stayed for 4 nights. The villa some of us stayed in was lovely. Also loved the pools and all the wonderful foliage. Felt like we were in the jungle! The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Across the street were plenty of places to get groceries, meals, etc. Even though the resort was in a busy part of town, you didn't know it after driving in. I would definitely stay there again!
Came to visit the keys for a little getaway. It was our first vacation in a very long time. My husband and I very blown away by the service this resort had provided. The beautiful view of a room, great housekeeping staff, amazing guys at the front desk and valet. We came with a little baby - they had accommodations for everything. Can’t wait to be back! This place is a true gem! You don’t want to miss out on it
We came to Parrot Key for jet skiing and stopped at the pool bar to grab a drink and an appetizer. The bartender Ashlee was so incredibly rude. The bar was empty and she was completely disinterested in helping us, and others that came up to the bar. After acknowledging my food order, she proceeded to cut and eat watermelon and then put my order in about 5 minutes later.
Terrible experience. Found 3 different types of bugs in the room, asked to have the sheets changed and someone just came and made our bed. Not even close to the mind of service and atmosphere I deserved for paying this kind of money.
The landscaping was awesome! It was truely awesome! The pools were very nice and had a lot of shade in the morning and afternoons. You have to book the shuttle service far in adavnce and the last pickup from the beach or town is at 4:30, which requires you to Uber back if you wanna stay out and have dinner or drinks. We never heard or saw the neighboring Home Depot or Walgreen's. Actually, having the Walgreen's next door mean a 2 minute walk for drinks, food or anything you might need while staying. Our room was quite dirty. The shower had mold and termites were actively mating on the room curtains and termite wings were always all over the bed. The floor in our room was heavily stained in many areas. The drawers on the dressers were either stuck closed or the drawers would fall out when pull open. Most of the staff was very friendly but they got quite rude with me when I brought up my concerns at checkout. A really cool TV feature in our room was the ability to stream any of our movie/TV phone apps directly to the TV! This is the second hotel I've stayed at with this ability and it's awesome!…
From the time we arrived until the day we left, we had a fantastic experience. My husband and I loved the resort feel, the landscaping was great and had a tropical feel to it. The customer service was great and we did not want for anything. Uber rides were about $14 on average to Old Town which made the trip very enjoyable..did not have to worry about driving, parking and cost of parking in Old Town, which is expensive. We will stay again at Parrot Key if back in Key West.
Amazing resort. Very private and intimate. Lots of amenities. Only issue we had were that there were swarming termites while we were there. They only bothered us at night if we had lights on. Other than that- we loved the Parrot Key!
This hotel is located off of a Main Street but it was well hidden and The grounds and hotel are very well manicured and once on property you feel like you’re in paradise. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and don’t care about location this is a nice place, If you are looking for a convenient location to downtown or the beach this is not the ideal hotel. They do have shuttles to downtown but unfortunately the last one is at 430p. You can rent bikes, however you are riding on a sidewalk on main streets. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A big shoutout to the concierge Shaun who was great to work with and knowledgeable on excursions and dining and did not disappoint.
The view and location of this property is off from the main area. Which can be a big plus. The hotel staff were some of the most professional and nice people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I had also left a couple of articles of clothing in the room and the manager located them and shipped them to me. That was above and beyond. 5 pools and the food offered was very good. Also very quiet and serene with very clean rooms. I would recommend this to anybody and everybody.
