We went for the weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. The resort is beautiful, the restaurants are great and the service from everyone was 5 star. The location is perfect and we never left the property and simply enjoyed the weekend as a...More
We are Ritz/Marriott Platinum elite members. I understand that you cannot hold and Autograph Collection Hotel/Resort to the same standards as a Ritz Carlton, but they should be at least as good as a Marriott Resort. The resort is beautiful - no doubt about it....More
Only stayed one quick night at this hotel so cannot comment too much in depth (particularly on service).
What I can say is the rooms are beautiful and unique.
Pool is nice.
"Beach" is small and crowded.
Food was good!
Beautiful hotel with nice pool and beachside lounging on the bay. Relaxed on a chaise for the sunset with beachside cocktail service. Staff friendly and accommodating. Full scale gym. Good for couples and families.

Thank you so much for letting us know about your recent stay at Playa Largo. It is certainly our pleasure to host you and we hope to see you soon for more beautiful sunset backdrops and "reluxation"!

Limited planned activities as far as I saw. Fishing on the pier, some kids club activities where an adult must accompany kids under 12. I didn't see any exercise classes, though they have a nice workout room. Nice Spa. The day we checked in, the calendar had ended, they didn't have any current calendar. Great sunsets. No beach.

I did not do that $150 a day upgrade as we went off site for a lot of meals... but we did eat at a couple of the on-site restaurants and did not have a bad meal! The sushi was incredibly fresh, sand bar was great... the more formal restaurant overlooking the water had a really nice ambiance and was very tasty... I don't think you can go wrong here! If you decide otherwise and go off-site, we were suggested Harriette's Restaurant for Breakfast - 95710 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037 - only a few minutes down the road from the resort and although it looks like a dump it was absolutely delicious! Key lime pies everywhere - a must!
Good luck and have fun.
