Our grandchildren live in Tavernier and we had multiple events to attend. Our son suggested this hotel, and we could not have been happier. After the hustle and bustle of family activities it was nice to come back to a serene resort with beautiful view. Fresh fruit and muffins delivered to our lanai in the morning as well as wine by the pool in the evening and lovely sunsets. If there is no room at our sons house in the future, I know where I'm staying
This was one of the prettiest and most relaxing places I have stayed. It very much had the feel of a larger bed and breakfast. The landscape and view were gorgeous! So many beautiful tropical plants and trees with hammocks, thatched roof huts, sandy beaches right outside your door, complete with nightly s'mores around a fire pit and even a local very large friendly iguana named Spike! Each cottage had its own outside patio. The staff was very inviting, friendly, and helpful. The quiet cove has very calm waters with many sailboats and houseboats moored offshore, making a perfect place to kayak. Lastly, the location being on the Gulf side meant you literally had a front seat for the amazing nightly sunsets. I highly recommend staying here, whether couple or family. There was something fun for everyone, and it was one of the most reasonably priced vacation spots for all that it has to offer!…
We stayed here for one night on our exploration of the Keys. This is a wonderful, tucked away little gem. It was just what we imagined old Florida style and hospitality to be like but with an updated flair. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed, cozy clean comforter and pillows, a small but great little bathroom with wonderful water pressure in the shower, and great air conditioning. We had a covered patio area with comfy chairs, and an open deck with Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed a glass of champagne sitting on the bay watching the sunset! Our room had a mini fridge and microwave, as well as some glasses and plates. The hotel also provides some lovely extra touches of hospitality - a glass of wine at sunset, a bonfire to make s’mores during the evening, and a morning basket with muffins and apples for breakfast. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Coconut Palm, we hope to return soon!…
My daughter had her wedding at Coconut Palm Inn and it was the perfect venue for a wedding with family and friends. The resort is so beautiful ...just like stepping into paradise! Relaxing yet so close to the nightlife and great restaurants. The staff was absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to make this special weekend so perfect! Thank you Stefani and Tracy for all for all you did! We are already planning a "reunion" to go back next year!
My in laws rented a place here and it was just lovely! Phenomenal services offering stores and wine around night-time campfire, hammocks bicycle built for 2, cute rooms, I'll be recommending this to all of my visitors
We stayed for one night after a few days in key west. It's very small and quiet. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was pretty small, but we enjoyed the outdoor area with the TV on the deck. There was a band playing somewhere close by, so the deck would have been more enjoyable had the music not been playing near by. The shower head is low, my husband is 6'1 and had to duck to wash above the shoulders. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We only saw coffee set out in the morning, wish there was some kind of breakfast.
We just returned from a 2-night stay at the Coconut Palm Inn, and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We booked the Thatch Palm Suite, and there was plenty of space for our family of three. Our teenage daughter slept on the sofa bed and said it was very comfortable. What we loved: -The overall look and feel of the resort (see photos). -The layout and location of our room. It was quiet and very comfortable! -The pool area. -The free use of kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and bikes. -All of the waterfront seating and lounging areas (including several hammocks). -The breakfast treats that are delivered each morning. -The s'mores at the fire pit in the evening. What could be improved: -I was a little nervous until we checked in because the confirmation email I received after booking did not include any reference to the specific room we had reserved. Thankfully, all went according to plan! -It would have been nice if check-out time was a little later (maybe 11am?). I understand that it takes time to turn the rooms over, so this is not a serious complaint, but 10am is early for check-out. We booked the Coconut Palm so we could relax after a couple of action packed days in Key West, and we were not disappointed. We'll definitely return!…
It was the perfect spot and wonderful hospitality. On the beach. Very relaxing lots of great extras. There are only 19 units so book early. the inside in our place was a bit dated but the rest of the things made it so worth while. Owners very eager to please with lots of good suggestions
This was the third time we stayed here. A great location, beautiful grounds and views and the staff is always so friendly and try to be accommodating. Still have the lovely wine sunsets. No big breakfast option anymore but the muffins delivered to door is nice start of the day. My only negative the last visit was we did not get the room we reserved on the second floor. They were booked full so we could not be moved. I reserved the room back in august. We ended up in a first floor room that was very dark and basement like, watch the step down into the room! I complained to the front desk and they said they will bring to management attention the mix up, when we checked out I was told management was notified and I would hear from them. We never did.
We stayed in the Buccaneer Palm Suite for 5 nights in January 2022. The suite was nice. The view from the deck isn't as great as the picture portrays on the website; you can't really see the water from the deck but there are Adirondack chairs and an outdoor dinette set. Surprisingly, we couldn't find an outside light and the steps could be a bit treacherous in the dark. There's a shelf in the living room by the door with many nooks/shelves that was super handy to keep various travel items organized in one place. The bed was very comfortable. The suite is nice but could use a few small things that would improve it greatly... a luggage rack or two, some hooks in the bedroom and bathroom, a new toilet seat (the one there moved all over the place), more than 3 hangers in the closet, a full length mirror. The shower did not drain well at all and the wall next to the sink was dirty. It would seriously take 3 minutes to scrub it down. The iron ruined a pair of pants. We asked for a different one and were given a tiny travel sized iron. An overhead light in the kitchen would be fantastic. The rugs could use a good cleaning. We were only able to enjoy the pool once due to the weather but the pool area is very nice. The grounds are pretty and well kept. The staff were friendly and accommodating when we needed anything. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.…
