We rented the Dolphin cottage for the Thanksgiving week end. The cottage was old and dirty, falling apart. Breakfast was terrible, hardly anything was served. Definitely overpriced!! Will never return!

Showed up late because of a flight problem. Staff left key with map and instructions. Took care of particulars in the AM. Nice to see a business can still be run that way. Cottage was clean. I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely not a ritzy place, but it got the job done. I would recommend it to people that don't find... More

Nice little place. Room was small but well appointed. Lots of dining and drinking options within walking distance or a five minute drive. Breakfast was lacking but Mrs. Mac's kitchen is unbeatable and I still a two minute walk.

Feels like you've left the USA and are now on a private island. Very lush, tropical property. Beautiful views of the Gulf. Room was big, clean, everything you need for a wonderful stay. Walking distance to several restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We booked a cottage here based on a recommendation from a co-worker and had the most pleasant stay. The cottages are far from fancy but the location is so quiet and beautiful. The staff was very warm and friendly. We loved having the use of kayaks and even went out on the water for better views at sunset. There are... More

Stopped for the night on the way to Key West. A warm friendly reception, parking in front of the cottage which was clean spacious, just right. Recommended to a restaurant by the beach which was superb. music, good food and the gulf of mexico gently stroking the sand. Quiet but breakfast area needs improving and bringing up to the standard... More

My husband and I enjoyed this place. No, it's not a Marriott or a 5 star hotel. But it's a perfect Island Getaway. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Our bathroom was updated. These cottages are the perfect place for a vacation. The ice machine was out of service, but we purchased a bag and put it in... More

Took my mom and mother-in-law on a trip to the keys. Old Florida cottages right on the water. Walking distance to a sunset bar that plays the conch at sunset every night. Great space and fun times. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing location in the keys.

This is my second stay at the Pelican in the last two years. My first time was solo and I fell in love with the place. When I was planning my next trip to Key Largo with my wife and a friend, The Pelican was my first choice for accommodations. We stayed in the 2 bedroom waterfront suite and it... More

We spent 4 days at this outstanding site with a fantastic view of the ocean. The cottages were clean and the tropical landscape was well kept. Our evenings spent on the beach overlooked the bay with a variety of boats. We would definitely return to this little paradise on the keys.
