Stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The front desk staff was very pleasant but the hotel needs maintenance. The pool was so filthy that you couldn't see the bottom of the pool Nobody is using it. The front desk assured me that someone was coming to shock the pool and skim the dead bugs off of it. That was on Monday. It's 11 pm on Tuesday and the pool is still filthy. I'm amazed the health dept hasn't shut it down. There is also a pile of broken lounge chairs on the beach that nobody seems to want to hide somewhere so we all get to look at them. The hotel is in a very good location but as a Hilton Honors member, I am really disappointed in this property. Next time I visit the Keys, I will be sure to select another hotel. Preferably not something in the Hilton chain. They seem to have lowered their standards.

We stayed here, June 20 - 24, not too long after the Keys opened back up. It’s a great location and there were some great places to eat nearby. The staff wore masks, which was nice. Not too mention it was required for guests too, signs were posted all over the hotel to wear them inside. Our room overlooked the bar which was open from 2pm-8pm. We had a decent view of the bay from our balcony. It was pretty busy Saturday and Sunday night. But most of the people checked out Monday morning so Monday and Tuesday were pretty quiet. The pool was nice, goes from 3-6 feet deep. You can rent kayaks and go out on the bay. We went out for about 90 minutes and did a big circle. It was cool checking out the boats that are parked out in the bay. Our room was basic and the AC worked great. Had a fridge and sink. Since this was during COVID, things were a little modified with breakfast. Everything was packed to go, but you could stay and eat in the dining area. They just couldn’t have the food out for everyone to get on their own. They have a nice gym for a hotel and that is also where the laundry facilities are. It is a separate building from the hotel so you need your key card to get in. We did laundry one night and we started the washer and went to the pool. After 30 minutes, we went back to put our wash in the dryer only to see an employee resetting the key card scanner. Well, it wasn’t being very cooperative and you couldn’t open the door. We had mentioned to the guy, his name is Jamie, that we had washed a load of clothes and that we needed to dry them. Well, Jamie walks around to the other side of the gym/laundry building, opens the window, climbs in and opens the door from the inside and lets us in for us to finish our laundry!!! How is that for customer service!!!! And he was so nice about it too. We also had great customer service from Chavone at the front desk. She was excellent! Every staff member we interacted with was so nice. It really made the stay that much better. The beach was nice, not too big. You can dock a boat there, if needed. Some of the chairs were ripped but we survived. Each night we would go out on the beach and watch the sunset along with everyone else. The rooms had a great TV and comfortable bed. They were a little dated but we only slept there and spent most of the time outside doing something. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Key Largo.

We stayed here just as the Keys were opening back up from COVID-19. The benefit to this property is that it has ocean access for playing kids, kayaking, snorkeling, a little place to fish, and hundreds of iguanas for vacationers. Rentals were available for snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing. It is centrally located and included breakfast. There is also a pool with a depth to 6 feet; nothing fancy, but it worked great. The rooms were clean, and whenever we needed garbage picked up or extra towels delivered, it was prompt. The staff was polite and helpful. Our room faced the pool/ocean area, but even when loud during the middle of the day, I couldn't hear it in our room, thank goodness. Sadly, there was not the usual hot breakfast every morning =-(. Also, due to COVID-19, rooms were not serviced until after our stay was complete. Masks were required inside the hotel lobby and in hallways, which most guest abided by. The negatives were that there were two small shady spots, but there were no umbrellas or other ways to evade the heat. Some of the chairs were ripped, and there were a multitude of jellyfish to avoid when playing in the edge of the bay/ocean the backs up to the hotel. However, at this price point, the stay was pleasant and suited our needs. I would stay here again with my family, including teenagers.

Stayed in mid-June 2020. Staff wears masks and things are socially distant. The hotel is two story and has a pool and lush green grounds. The entrance to the hotel room was in an interior hallway which was quiet and safe. Staff was friendly. Some changes to note during this pandemic time frame: no open breakfast. You still get breakfast but it is the take out type (in a bag). You need to tell them you want a breakfast sandwich or you'll get muffins, juice and fresh fruit. You'll get the same muffins, juice and fruit but with the addition of a sandwich if you ask for it. Also - no room service - and they are not allowed to enter and clean your room. So no trash take out, no refill of in-room coffee service and no towels, unless you ask for them. We didn't realize this (it wasn't mentioned at check in) so that was a disappointment. This was due to COVID 19 restrictions in place in June 2020. It may change when things are less restrictive some day. The beach access is not like Panama City Beach and there is no strip of white sand to walk along. It is a small beach access - but the sunset views from the balcony were spectacular! All in all - good value - but with some changes.

We stayed here recently and had an ok stay. The rooms are nice and large and clean, Thé bay view/sunsets are amazing. It was difficult however to feels safe with covid, considering Some of the reception staff were not wearing their mask while assisting people (for most of the time I was there waiting for my room to be ready). Also the pool had no less than 40 people and no staff controlling this. The beach was full of litter as no garbage cans nor staff attending. The prices are quite high, which is ok considering they have to catch up on losses. However with no buffet breakfast (breakfast bags) and kayaks at $25/hour, it’s it not worth it anymore, there are nicer places around, not sure how this would ever be exceptional!
