I picked Dolphin Point based on reviews from tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. We booked the Dolphin Suite for our family of 6. We arrived at 7:30 and the property is gated, so you have to call so they can let you in if you are arriving after 6 pm. The office is located next door in the same area as Dolphin Plus, which I will review later. Check-in was easy and the person was really friendly dispite having lost her voice. Just a note, they hold $500 on your CC versus the $200 or $300 that other places do. We were given a breakfast voucher to Mrs. Mac's Kitchen or the Hideout which was also unexpected. She gave us a map, which was a little confusing. We had to go back out the gate and enter another gate where the villas were located. The road is a one way so if you miss your spot you have to go back around. Our suite was right next to the pool and connected to the Dolphin Villa. I found out later that you can actually book both places if you have a large group and they have a connecting door. There is a wrap around deck with rocking chairs that made it perfect for enjoying the beautiful nights. The Dolphin suite only has the pool view, but it is a short walk to the dock, which provided lots fish viewing opportunities. My family saw a nurse shark, upside down jellyfish and lots of parrot fish. Also down by the dock is lighted area that has a hammack, chairs and some outdoor games to play. The suite itself was very large with high ceilings. There was a small fridge with lots of cupboard space as well as a wardrobe for people who were using the Murphy bed that is main area. The room only had one bathroom, with a large shower. The water pressure was very low. The bedroom had 2 queen beds and was very large. Lots of windows and natural light in the suite. You can access the porch by the bedroom or the main area. The only thing that the room lacked was a table to eat at or put a laptop on. The pool was very nice to cool off in, it didn't seem heated, but it was still warm enough. There were lots of chairs to sun yourself by the pool. My kids spent hours trying to catch lizards and watching the iguanas. They have very specific times in which to get clean towels and supplies so prepare ahead for that. The staff are amazing there though and just made our stay so enjoyable. We stayed over Thanksgiving and the staff brought everyone on the property Key Lime Pie, which my family just loved. We will by stayiing here in the future, but will opt for a larger place that has two bathrooms and a table to eat at.…
The house was even better than the pictures, right off the water with gorgeous views from every room. The house was super spacious with lots of places to hang out, the private pool and beach access right outside made it easy to spend time with everyone. The open kitchen made Thanksigivng away from home so much fun! We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks every day, along with the beautiful view.
We had a family reunion of 14 and stayed in the Nautilus House for Thanksgiving. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left the stay was truly amazing. The house was gorgeous, the beds and linens were the most comfortable at a rental that we have ever experienced. The grounds were perfect including the beach area, boat dock, paddle boards, kayaks, cornhole, hammock etc. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend also doing the Dolphin Swim - right next door. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We would give Dolphin Point Villas 10 stars if possible. We will definitely be back!
We took our team to Dolphin Pointe for our ”end of fiscal year” retreat. It was fantastic! Upscale decor, spacious villas, absolutely spotless, private pool and amazing sunsets! This beautiful resort is an absolute gem, we could not have been happier. Thank you Dolphin Pointe Villas!
Excellent place to stay, very clean, beautiful and nicely furnished. Very helpful people, especially Havagale, who managed to arrange our whole stay in one villa despite that the booking site showed "fully booked".
