Cheaply built, very poor construction, basic features, so so maintained, nice staff, not a good value. Felt like a 3rd world hotel. No maid service. When I went to lock patio doors at night, I found both locks were broken, had to leave unsecured. Not a quality place, Filthy elevator that barely operated.

Stayed in room 201 May 22-24th, 2021. We found that the place was infested with adult cockroaches in one of the bathrooms. We contacted the host to relay the information that we would not be staying there and sent them a picture of the one we killed along with leaving it there. The host never responded to me. We also contacted AirBnB which they said the host would only approve $42 credit out of $485, which is unacceptable due to how dirty the place was; especially, during a pandemic that's correlated to cleanliness.

We are in our mid sixties, have family in Key Biscayne and have stayed in several places there. We just returned from staying a Coral Reef and we were very disappointed!! The condo was decorated nicely but there was no top sheet on the bed, no washcloths, no soap to wash hands in the bathroom, no extra TP (had to buy some), the bedroom was in the loft and was hot!! There was a bra hanging on the shower rod!! BTW, the bathroom is upstairs in the main bedroom so if someone stays downstairs they have to also use that bathroom. The outside of the building is falling apart. Big holes in the gutters and chunks of plaster falling off the building. The pool has black mold growing on the coping but the water was very clear and clean. The pool furniture was nice. One of the big negatives is the noise!! Voices and sounds echo throughout the complex if you are in a room facing the pool. You will wake up in the middle of the night!!! The positive was the manager, who I just texted with. It was a fast check in and she took care of a noise problem while we were there. There really isn’t much choice in Key Biscayne that is reasonably priced. I’m saving my money for the Ritz Carlton, next time!!! The Silver Sands hotel rooms are even worse!!!

This hotel was very outdated and nasty. The room smelled like a cleaner, but it looked like it had not been dusted in years and there was a piece of dog kibble on the floor underneath the table when we arrived. The floor was chipped and the door was rusted. That isn’t even the worst part- when I turned on the kitchen faucet, BROWN WATER came out. We were forced to use bottled water for the rest of our stay. The showers and fixtures were old and there were only two towels and random soaps in the whole place. The beds were tiny and very thin/uncomfortable. Please take your money elsewhere because this place is certainly not worth it and probably has at least one health code violation.

This is the most overpriced and DIRTY place we have ever stayed in. We expected a 3 star but its really a 1 star. I'm not sure how they are able to get away with it, the images on their website do not in any way reflect what you will experience. There is NO service of any kind provided, the wi-fi didn't work, the shelves had dirt from months or years of not cleaning. There is dirt that's literally sticky on the lamps, on the furniture, and the floors, just plain old DIRTY and it smells musty. The overall feel of this place is that of a cheap dirty Motel. The location is good because its a few minutes walk from the beach, but there is very little around it in terms of restaurants and grocery stores. 10-15 walk is a small strip mall, but not decent places to eat. For the price they charge you can find many many options. I read some raving reviews and thought we'd give it a try. Its a rip off, so sad, it has potential if only they cleaned it and did some much needed work.

No one operates the property. Had to ask other guests to track down hotel staff to check in. Found a gross dirty sock inside the bed sheets. Hotel refuses to answer. We had to convince the cleaning staff to let us call from their phone ti get a response . And they did nothing. Avoid at all costs. Also - booking.com is preventing these reviews from being posted. Do not be fooled by lack of reviews on their site.

Please! Don’t waste your money and stay here! The place is completely disgusting, we got a room that smelled rotten. The kitchen has food leftovers everywhere, toilet had poop stains and hairs glued to the seat, pubic hairs and yellow stains on sheets. Everything was so dirty! Plus, the manager was super rude and decided to block my calls and texts after asking for a refund. We were during the pandemic and it was clear that there was a lack of hygiene and had no security to theirs guests. This place is a total scam compared to their website pictures, definitely too expensive! They are just taking advantage of the fact that there are only two hotels in Key Biscayne. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to sleep in a very filthy place. We attempted to clean the place but it was useless. This place should not be advertised on any booking webpage. Luckily, the webpage saw the evidence of our place and gave us a refund since the very rude manager was not interested in helping us.

There was not phone. I asked for bath tub but it wasnot working. even the shower was not working. The peruvian receptionist was agressive. There was not shampoo. When looking for staff no one was ready to serve or pay attention. There was not cytophone. Despite of the high price paid online, there was another bad surprise the receptionist asked for an extra amount of FIFTY DOLLARS cash... I refuse to pay it. I actually think that I should have not been charged online for $125 USD for services I require that you reimburse me to my bank card that amount. The air conditioner was not properly fix.

This property has the potential to be 4 stars. It is 2 blocks from a beautiful public beach, sparkling clean, no bugs, large refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave. When we checked in, I noticed that one of the latches on the sliding glass door did not work. We were unable to lock it. I explained this to them in person and asked them to fix it quickly. When we checked out on the 7th day, no one had fixed it. Basically, almost anyone could come in and out. Then the next day, I wanted to take a bath, but noticed there was no bathtub stopper for the nice big bathtub. The manager had taped her cell phone number on her door. I explained that I wanted to take a bath, but there was no bathtub stopper. (You can buy these at any hardware store for about $1.) She literally texted back, "I'm sorry, that's forbidden." I have never stayed at a property that forbade me from taking a bath! I wonder if they just wanted to save money on their water bill. The chain that opened the lower shade to the living room was broken, but we were able to figure out how to work around that. The chain to the upper shade was unreachable.
