We are staying at this hotel as it is the only accommodation reasonably priced in Key Biscayne but it leaves a lot to be desired. Upon arrival they told us this room was recently remodeled but I can hardly believe this. It’s run down, not well maintained and not even cleaned. There were hairs on the shower tile, the furniture looks old and the safe deposit was running low on battery. The location is otherwise is good. Closet has no drawers or shelves. Bathroom is missing tiles and toilet paper holder is broken. There are additional hooks for the shower that no one ever removed. I am giving it two starts because location is good but we won’t be returning again

Location was nice, parking was good, apartments and the place in general feel run down and in need of updating compared to others in the area. The wifi was awful and unusable, this needs to be addressed immediately. The stairs in the loft apartments need security gates for people with young kids they are very dangerous. Staff in general were good but in the evenings I felt the receptionist on duty was a bit abrupt.

We are in our mid sixties, have family in Key Biscayne and have stayed in several places there. We just returned from staying a Coral Reef and we were very disappointed!! The condo was decorated nicely but there was no top sheet on the bed, no washcloths, no soap to wash hands in the bathroom, no extra TP (had to buy some), the bedroom was in the loft and was hot!! There was a bra hanging on the shower rod!! BTW, the bathroom is upstairs in the main bedroom so if someone stays downstairs they have to also use that bathroom. The outside of the building is falling apart. Big holes in the gutters and chunks of plaster falling off the building. The pool has black mold growing on the coping but the water was very clear and clean. The pool furniture was nice. One of the big negatives is the noise!! Voices and sounds echo throughout the complex if you are in a room facing the pool. You will wake up in the middle of the night!!! The positive was the manager, who I just texted with. It was a fast check in and she took care of a noise problem while we were there. There really isn’t much choice in Key Biscayne that is reasonably priced. I’m saving my money for the Ritz Carlton, next time!!! The Silver Sands hotel rooms are even worse!!!

We spent the first night of our honeymoon here and it was awful... we planned on going to the beach or pool but couldn't get a towel to save our lives. See notes below:
Very old, slow Elevator
No coffee, beach towels due to covid? Other hotels didn't have this issue?
Asked for more room towels, no answer
Couldn't use beach or pool bc no towels
Rough towels
No water pressure
No paper towels or tissues downstairs
No cancel on booking even in covid, no response on partial refund.. ever
Wifi in and out, barely worked
No exhaust fan in bathroom
Cheap toilet paper

This is the most overpriced and DIRTY place we have ever stayed in. We expected a 3 star but its really a 1 star. I'm not sure how they are able to get away with it, the images on their website do not in any way reflect what you will experience.
There is NO service of any kind provided, the wi-fi didn't work, the shelves had dirt from months or years of not cleaning. There is dirt that's literally sticky on the lamps, on the furniture, and the floors, just plain old DIRTY and it smells musty. The overall feel of this place is that of a cheap dirty Motel.
The location is good because its a few minutes walk from the beach, but there is very little around it in terms of restaurants and grocery stores. 10-15 walk is a small strip mall, but not decent places to eat. For the price they charge you can find many many options. I read some raving reviews and thought we'd give it a try. Its a rip off, so sad, it has potential if only they cleaned it and did some much needed work.

These condos are in a good location in Key Biscayne, and have private access to the beach. The room itself could do with a bit of updating, but the facilities were good. There are ample restaurants located within a short distance. The outdoor pool looked nice, and seemed busy with families during the day.

I would return to Key Biscayne, but I think I’d try different accommodation.

There was not phone. I asked for bath tub but it wasnot working. even the shower was not working. The peruvian receptionist was agressive. There was not shampoo. When looking for staff no one was ready to serve or pay attention. There was not cytophone. Despite of the high price paid online, there was another bad surprise the receptionist asked for an extra amount of FIFTY DOLLARS cash... I refuse to pay it. I actually think that I should have not been charged online for $125 USD for services I require that you reimburse me to my bank card that amount. The air conditioner was not properly fix.

Please! Don’t waste your money and stay here!
The place is completely disgusting, we got a room that smelled rotten. The kitchen has food leftovers everywhere, toilet had poop stains and hairs glued to the seat, pubic hairs and yellow stains on sheets.
Everything was so dirty! Plus, the manager was super rude and decided to block my calls and texts after asking for a refund.
We were during the pandemic and it was clear that there was a lack of hygiene and had no security to theirs guests.
This place is a total scam compared to their website pictures, definitely too expensive! They are just taking advantage of the fact that there are only two hotels in Key Biscayne.
DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to sleep in a very filthy place.

We attempted to clean the place but it was useless. This place should not be advertised on any booking webpage.

Luckily, the webpage saw the evidence of our place and gave us a refund since the very rude manager was not interested in helping us.

I wish I had read other reviews before we booked. I came with my husband and toddler and baby. We booked for a week, and left for another hotel after the first night. The photos and advertising are really dishonest. The rooms have an echo, the lighting is terrible and the floors left our feet black. The Wi-Fi did not work, nor did either of the tvs. There were several sketchy characters hanging around the place at night. The pool is freezing and doesn’t get sun. There is nothing good within walking distance. There is often no one around the management desk to help or talk to so we just left. We are now out $2,800 because, and this is on purpose, there is a very clear policy they have after booking that states 100% no refunds. They know what their doing with false advertising and zero accountability for this place being inhospitable and gross. DONT BOOK!!

I booked a room, waited for a confirmation that never arrived, tried to contact the facility with the number provided on the website to no avail, nobody answers, and their voice mail is always full.
I then proceeded to send them an email cancelling what I believed was my reservation and sent a text message as well at the number provided. I never received and answer and was charged for the room as a no show.
DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL, it is a scam and not customer friendly at all.

I don’t know if this will help but, I had a room on the second floor. The bathrooms and bedrooms were one level. There is an elevator and they did have rooms on the first level.
